Hello friends back with new update . Part 10
Raman was standing outside his office waiting for her ,after a wait of about ten minutes she showed up. he opened the door of passenger side for her ,she settled and he settled himself on wheels .Soon they were on the way to her home ,the fear and restlessness was clearly evident on her face ,he stopped the car near a restaurant .She saw him with questioning eyes ,when he answered ," I think you should have something before going home ,in this time we can talk some ."
Ishita nodded and both entered the restaurant ,they settled in the corner table and Raman ordered two coffees along with some sandwiches. She denied but he insisted that she should not be empty stomach .She agreed and waited for their order ,Raman saw her and asked " now tell what you wanted to say ".
I(surprised )- how come you know they I want to talk something to you .
R- I can read your restlessness.
I- Raman I was saying that ...ummm that .
R- tell Ishita .
I- I was just telling that ,doctor has done some tests and she had called us .
R- tests for what .
I- actually I was not believing that I m actually ,... uumm you know ,I told her about my infertility problem ,that's why she has done some tests ,tomorrow its result will come ,how will be it if we go to inform our parents after that .
Raman was thinking when she told " you know it will be very bad situation if we tell them and somehow I ...
R- yeah ,I think you are right .ok as you say tomorrow we will at first go to hospital then we will talk to your parents ,done .
Ishita nodded ,that's when their order arrieved ,they started having it .Raman noticed that she is still restless ,he kept his hand on her hand ,she raised her gaze to see him he pressed his eyes and spoke " relax Ishita ,everything will be alright ,I m there with you ".
I- (meekly ); what if I m not pregnant.
Raman got a shock listening to her when she asked again " tell me Raman if I m not pregnant then we will be strangers again ".
R( pressing her hand with more force )- it was you who is running away from me ,ishita I was just spending my life fulfilling shagun's and my families demands and responsibilities. apne liye jeena kya hota hai this I know after that night only ,ishita because of shagun's behavior I was loosing confidence in myself ,I had almost left the thought of a happy life ,my baby but after that night everything has changed for me ,your words that you don't regret our moment ,gave back my confidence . ishita may be I will be Lil disappointed if you are not pregnant but then also I want you with me may be after my divorce .you will wait for me na .
Ishita nodded while Raman held her hsbd firmly .They completed their coffee and Raman dropped her to her home not before giving her a lot of instruction to eat properly ,not to be sad and scared ,to rest and don't think much .Raman returned back to his house with a content smile when his mother informed " Raman shagun has gone for london trip of whole month ."
R- let her go ,we all will be at peace na .
T- wo to sahi hai ,but...
R- ma please today I m very happy please dont spoil my mood by talking about shagun .
T- OK baba as you say ,but why are you happy ,mujhe bhi bata ,k too want to be happy like you .
R- will definitely tell you but not today , tomorrow.
T- abhi bata de na puttar .
Raman was impatient to broke this news to his mother but stopped thinking about ishita's words that she may not be pregnant.Rest of their day was spend thinking about each other and their new found happiness .Next day Raman got up Lil early ,actually he cannot sleep due to excitement ,he at first called Ishita to know about her whereabouts she informed that she couldn't sleep whole night thinking about the results of test .He informed that he is coming to pick her at 9.00 am .She nodded and went to get ready ,at sharp 9.00 her phone buzzed that he is waiting for her outside .Both made their way to doctors clinic and waited for their chance .After about half an hour they were called ,both settled in front of doctor who was reading and going through her reports .
Ishita held Ramans hand tightly ,almost poking her nails in his skin he too held her hands firmly supporting her .Doctor read all the reports and spoke " ishita you are very much pregnant ".
I- but doctor what was that infertility.
D- I m so sorry ishita ,actually ishita the problem is your womb is very small ,not strong enough to bear a child for whole nine months .its not that you cannot conceive but its that it will be very difficult almost impossible that you will take this baby till nine months .
Ishra were shocked listening to this ,the happiness of being parents got shattered in a moment ,both look each other and tears made their ways from their eyes .Though Raman too was sad but he side hugged ishita to console her and asked " that means doctor ,our baby will never ..."
D- no no don't think that ,now a days many medicines and injections are there to cure this ,may be you people need not need for it .everything depends on your wife's medical condition and baby's improvement. its just you have to take little more care if her ,she has to be on complete bed rest for all these months .you have to come for regular checkups ,had to take medicines and injections regularly which I m prescribing along with healthy diet .For now you can celebrate your baby's news, we will try every means to bring this baby in this world .don't take much stress ,that can also harm you.
Ishita nodded ,Raman held her and almost dragged her out from doctors clinic ,they took the medicines and injections and went to their car .All this time non of them talked as they were still not clear ,how to react .After they settled in the car ,Raman pulled her to him and she broke hugging him ,he too wounded his arms around her and cried along with her .She spoke between the tears " kyun Raman kyun ,hamne kisi ka kya bigada hai ,why its happening to us . we won't be happy ever kya ?.
R- relax ishita,believe in matarani , doctor told na that it is possible now a days ..
I- what if we loose our him ..
She spoke touching her tummy .
R- don't think negative ,everything will he alright.now should we go to your parents .
I- no not now ,I want to spend some lone time .mujhe akele rahna hai kuch der.
R- ok.
Saying so he turned the car and started driving ,he drove for about one hour and at last they reached near a lake type place in outskirts of Delhi .They came out and settled in a rock ,they sat there for about a hour but non of them spoke anything ,ishita was resting her head on his chest while he was holding her protectively ,both were together but were lost in their thoughts .After about one hour he spoke " ishita its been long time you didn't had anything you must be hungry ,I think we should leave now and should talk to your parents also because I don't want to risk my baby's life .if they accept I will leave you with them if not I will happily take you from there .ishita nodded and both made their way to her house .on the way they stopped in a dhaba,had their lunch and then reached her house .Raman pressed the call bell ,appa opened the door ,he greeted Raman and called in him.Appa made him settled in couch snd asked about his whereabouts . Raman's answered his all question , then there occurred a pin drop silence for few minutes, then Raman spoke " uncle I m here to talk something very serious to you ".
Mr iyer - bolo kanna ,what you want to talk .
Raman gulped his saliva ,took a deep breath and spoke " uncle wo main .. actually ishita ,I just want you to take care of her for few days ,after that I will take her with me ."
Mr iyer - Raman I m not getting what are you talking ,why you are telling me to take care of my own daughter and whom you will take with yourself .
R- sir don't be angry ,I want you to inform that ...that
Amma -(bit worried )- what .
R- listen uncle aunty ,don't panick I m there with her .
Mr iyer (angrily )- at first tell me what happened.ishu theek to hai na .
R- humm she is alright rather she is good .
Amma- then .
R- aunty ,uncle she is pregnant with my child .
Amma appa were shocked listening to this ,they became numb ,don't know how to react .Ishra saw each other Raman pressed his eyes and assured her with his eyes .They were still looking to each other when Mr iyer clutched his collar and spoke angrily
" how dare you.."
He was about to slap Raman when ishita stopped her appa and was about to speak something but before that she earned a tight slap from amma , Raman pulled her to him and hided her in him ,she snuggled into him.He wounded his arms around her protectively and spoke softly " at least listen to us".
Amma - what is left to listen, this girl had left nothing for us ,at first we were listening because of her infertility and we will listen for this illegitimate baby .ishu didn't you feel shame before doing this .
Raman hiding her more in him ," aren't you people a bit happy for your daughter that she is not barren, waise bhi I just came here to inform you ,if you are ashamed of her I m taking her with me .
