Copying from Lakshmi's thread :-
The date scene was really good. The whole setup, the surprise of musical band and their dance to the beautiful song "Bol na" was awesome and beautiful 😊. DivAn were magical as usual with their dance moves and signature head butts😛. Raman made a smart move and switched off both their mobiles . Ishita complimented him as looking handsome, but he says he does not feel good without her around and pleads her to come back. She was occupied in thoughts. A very short scene, but good that it went on without any haddis. Thank goodness.😆. KP was super handsome even in his casual wear and DT was pretty too, but frankly I did not like her saree that much.
It was good to see him drop her off at Mani's place after the date. But it was sad to see Ishita asking him to stop at a far off place, lest Mani would see and question her. . Why is she afraid of Mani to spend some quality time with her husband?. Who the hell is Mani and why should she fear for him? Has she pledged her lives to him and his family?😕. It was disappointing for me. Khair. Raman makes up for his valentines day absence and finally hands over a gift to her. Nice and she was happy to receive it as well. 😊
The conversation that followed in the car , well, I have mixed feelings. I am really happy that I got to hear Ishita's point of view that I always wanted to hear, as part of IshRa's conversation. She understands his immense love for her and doesn't have any doubts, but is extremely hurt that when the goings get tough, he goes back to the initial phases of their relationship "sirf ruhi ke liye" and makes her feel she is the step mother, which nullifies the progress they have made in the relationship, questioning their relationship and making their beautiful memories together as meaningless. She feels he does it time and again, though he repents for those words later only till the next difficulty strikes them. She wants to provide a stable environment for her kids and doesn't want them to see their parents fighting always. Fair enough. I am happy till there.
But I have a disappointment with Raman today. While Ishita chose to speak up her state of mind, I wanted Raman also to speak up on his side. I wish he spoke his mind and said "Now that we have this talk Ishita, I want to speak up as well. I do realize the extent of hurt that I have caused you by my words, I apologize to you for that and I would make sincere efforts towards that, but I have a confession to make. While I agree that my impulsiveness is a reason for this situation, I want to tell you that your actions of going behind my back every single time, not respecting my words, ignoring my warnings to you & doing things on your own has also landed us here & have made me feel worthless as a father and a husband. So while I promise to work on my shortcomings, I would appreciate if you think about this and work on your side as well, because for a relationship to progress, the trust and respect has to be mutual and not one-sided and only if that happens, can we give a stable environment to the kids, because if it is one-sided, at one point of time, because of your actions, I might lose my patience limit and the situation can be unpleasant. After all, it takes two to tango. So take your time and think about it as well."
If I had heard such a conversation from Raman, I would have really appreciated the conversation in the car and loved it. But since it did not happen, I just felt good that I got to hear one side of the story while I was equally sad that the other side of the story was easily swept under the carpet by Raman's silence and it looked like only he is at fault..
My doubts after this scene :- Now that Ishita feels that change in Raman is temporary and he would not be the same, the moment they are in trouble, I wonder how is Ishita going to believe that he has changed permanently and come over to the Bhallas?😕 Another calamity?😕. Let us see.
Strictly my POV about the scene. No offence meant to anyone else.
But I liked the small nuances in the car conversation like her possessiveness for Gulabo😆, Raman admiring it and panicking the moment she holds Gulabo responsible for Shagun's delivery😆. The last part, where she was hesitant to leave him and go & nodded her to head to check if she can go and him nodding back, but smiling because he knew she was sad and did not want to leave was poignant and beautiful.😊. DivAn nailed this scene to perfection.
The dining table scene was OK for Ishita's expressions, reactions and Gulabo admiring her. DT was really good in that scene. So Nidhi has been smart enough and made Shagun request Gulabo for her identity documents. I guess this will land Gulabo in trouble, for she might not be able to produce it and Shagun would start doubting her and Ishita might not. 😕.
Toshiji was irritating today. I understand her concern as a mother and to an extent even agree to her doubts on Param. But it was purely disgusting of her to call up Gaurav and ask him to arrange for a setup where they can prove Param is still the same so that he can be kicked out. She has been the sole reason for making the life of all of her children a hell, with her hasty and ridiculous decisions, but this woman has not changed a bit. And her partiality continues. While Romi, her son who once was a womanizer and rogue can change, a witch like shagun can change, but Param who is her son-in-law can never change. 😡😡🥱. Stupid & brainless woman, the main reason for all problems in Bhalla house. She is just a comedy piece, not fit to be a mother at all.🤡🥱
Precap :- I guess Gaurav has called that lady who was in the room with Param and they are showing the clip to family. How come Ishtia suddenly came to Bhalla house for this panchayat?😲
