Mani and Ishita's friendship isn't so innocent as it was portrayed to be. Mani had his selfish motives for not informing Bhallas and Iyers for 7 years that Ishita was alive. Then every human being is selfish by nature, he wasn't responsible fully as it was Ishita's decision too. Apart from that, he's always wished best for Ishita.
But what about Ishita? She cajoled him to marry Shagun knowing her true face. If it was pre and post-leap innocent Shagun or Ishita were unaware of the change in Shagun after her return, it still could make some sense. But the matter of fact is she knew. Now she knows what happened in Australia, how Shagun behaved there despite being married to Mani. But Ishita didn't even bother to inform such gross misconduct of Shagun to her husband. Not only that, when Mani is making up his mind to divorce Shagun (as per OLV and news segments) due to these chain of events, she is trying to persuade him otherwise!
