Ishita wiped off her tears and made a way to Ruhi's room, taking out her favourite chilled ice-cream from the fridge for her.
Entering into the room, her eyes travelled at Ruhi who was so busy in her job that she didn't listen Ishita's footsteps when she got in. Ishita looked at her, narrowing her eyes, confused at what was she doing.
"Ruu, what are you doing bachcha?" she asked while sitting on the bed beside Ruhi and putting the bowl of ice-cream over the table.
Ruhi tilted her head and gave access to Ishita to glance at the sketch she was making.
"How is this, Mumma?" she asked to listen her remark at her beautiful yet heart touching sketch.
Wounding her arms around Ruhi's waist, she smiled and looked at the drawing sheet. Her eyes literally brimmed with tears as she saw the most beautiful scene. There was a perfect family; A man kissing on his wife's forehead, encircling his arms around her while the lady was embracing her child in her protective arms. It was so emotional that Ishita couldn't have control over her heart and her past memories relived in her mind, giving her eyes filled with tears.
"Isn't it nice, Mumma?" little Ruhi caressed Ishita's tears in order to wipe them.
Ishita glanced at her angel lovingly. A smile curled up on her lips making her relive IshRa memories between those tears. She pulled Ruhi to herself and snuggled while her fingers ran down through Ruhi's long hairs. Ruhi smiled, seeking her mother's warmth.
"What happened Mumma, didn't you like it?" she popped up again with the same question.
To her question, Ishita replied kissing on her hair, "It's so beautiful, my baby Ruu. You always make your Mumma amazed. Betu, tell me one thing that how do you manage to know everything what my heart wants to say to me?"
"Because I love you."
"I love you too sweetheart."
Wiping off her tears, Ishita parted away and said forwading a spoon full of ice-cream to Ruhi, "Now no more cries. Right now, my betu will enjoy having her ice-cream then she will take rest."
Ruhi nodded smilingly and enjoyed with her mother, snuggling into her embrace.
After having, Ishita put the bowl on the table and helped Ruhi to lay on the bed for some rest.
"Beta, now you take rest for sometime. You must be so tired." Recommended Ishita as she pulled Ruhi to herself and layed on the bed along with her and patted her back until she goes in a deep slumber.
"Mumma.."
"Hmm.."
"I want to meet Papa."
Ishita looked at her with blank expression. She didn't know what to say. Her mind was already occupied by Raman's thoughts and adding to this, Ruhi raised her thought, giving her more insecurities.
"Ruu..please close your eyes and sleep. Mumma is too tired to have any chat with you. If you would trouble me, then where will I go? You're my good baby na, then please be quiet and sleep."
"But Mumma please..tell me I want to know that why does Papa not live with us?" she asked curiously.
Ishita was left speechless. A single question of her little daughter left her numb. How to react to this situation, she was no more aware.
"Ruu, won't you obey your Mom? I'm requesting you something beta. Please sweetheart, don't act stubborn." Ishita requested her to sleep in a pleading tone.
"No..I want answer." Ruhi declared in a determined tone that she wants an answer of her question.
"Okay okay..if you will listen me, then you know what..Papa will come into your dreams with loads of chocolates and so that you can ask everything to him, not to me." She said dreamingly, making efforts to avoid Raman's topic.
"If it is so, then I should. Then I will ask him to live with us when he would come in my dream. Mumma, please make me sleep faster."
"Yeah..ya..sure my baby." She smiled seeing her words really worked out.
While being patted lovingly by her mum, Ruhi cocooned herself in Ishita and immediately went down in deep sleep.
On the other hand, Ishita was wide awake. She was having a great battle between her mind and her heart. She did not know how to step further in her life when her steps were halted by Raman's appearance, after six years. She was in the state of confusion. On one hand, her heart was asking her to give him a chance to explain his situation while on the second, her mind was adding fuel to her anger. A set of tears immediately appeared in her eyes in the remembrance of their togetherness, how happy they were together..those were their days!
"Raman..kahaan lekar jaa rahe ho mujhe?" Ishita asked as she could see nothing but darkness visible infront of her eyes, being blindfolded by Raman after dismounting from his car. Seeing no response coming from him, she asked again roaming her fingers on the back of his palms over her eyes, "Ramannn..I'm asking you something. Kuch to bolo, please." She almost pleaded infront of him for being so suspicious for her. She couldn't wait much to see what he had planned for her on Valentines Day. It was all a surprise for her, planned by him..by her Valentine.
"Offo Ishu..you are being so despo yaar..please wait for a moment and you will see the most beautiful scene..huh..but not more than you." He let her know he had planned something very beautiful for her, giving her more curiosity.
"Okay." She replied and continued walking to the direction where he was taking.
Seconds later, they reached to their destination. A wide grin appeared over Raman's lips seeing his surprise going in flow. Slowly, he removed his palms and said, "Ishu..open your eyes." giving her the most romantic sensation.
Ishita, out of curiousity opened her eyes and what she saw was amazingly outstanding. Her eyes got fixed at the setup. She was completely stunned to see such a romantic dinner table decorated for them in the light of moon and twinkling stars. It was a peaceful place on the top of the building, with a heart-shaped setup, arranged for them. There were many rose petals scattered over the red carpet floor to welcome a lovely couple while the open shelter gave a elegent look to the surrounding. A melodious song was being played down in a music player, kept at a distance from the setup and twinkling lights in heart shaped design worked beautifully.
It was not less than something which was giving a look of paradise. Ishita's eyes formed a thin sheet of tears and those teardrops were getting ready to roll down, anytime. She beheld the beauty of the atmosphere. It was all because of Raman, she thanked him million times through admiration and not only him but the God who sent him in her life as an angel.
Her trance broke down feeling his touch over her shoulder, "Ishu..come..we have to relish this precious moment of our life which would become memorable for the rest of our journey."
Hearing his words, she smiled at him and nodded.
He forwaded his hand to her like a gentleman and she gave her back to him, being treated like his queen. They walked together to the setup and took their respective seat.
Roaming her eyes around, Ishita spoke lovingly looking deep into her eyes, "Raman..I wanna say something to you."
She waited for his response.
He answered kissing the back of her palm, "Wait a little more sweetheart, I have to confess something before you do that."
Ishita blushed and lowered her eyes in pretext of hiding her shyness from him while he curled up a smile over his face seeing her blushing so much. Soon, he got up from his seat and kneeled down infront of her whereas her eyes were observing his movies, increasing her heartbeats a little faster.
He took one of her palms in his and said glancing at her with love, "Ishita..the love of my life, you know have I brought you here.."
She denied shyly.
He continued, "Well, I want to confess something to you Ishita..I want to let you know about my feelings for you..you know what Ishita..it was Love At First Sight. I had really fallen for you at the very first time when I had seen you in Library. I was blown away from your elegent beauty. I never imagined someone would become so important part of my life..like it would be difficult for me to breathe without your presence..so important like I can get mad for you...for your presence in my life. It's a fact that you are a blessing for me..a gift..precious gift from God to me..and I can never be enough thankful of him..he has showed his mercy upon me by sending you in my life. For this, I will always be so grateful to him..he has blessed me Ishita. Jaan..you're a part of my life..no..no..sorry, you're not just a part..but actually you're my life and without you, I can't survive." He poured his feelings to her without breaking the eye-contact. She was listening him with greatest concentration as if trying to behold this moment for lifetime. She stretched her smile a bit more to make him aware, she was listening him.
He continued, "Don't think it as I've practiced some filmy dialogues..but these are my pure feelings Ishita..just for you. I really love you too much and I want to marry you. I want you as my life partner..my soul partner..my everything..just each and everything. I had never these type of feelings for anyone..which I am having for you. Trust me Ishita, I have dedicated myself to you..I just..I..I really..I mean I can't describe my feelings anymore..just want to let you know that I am already yours..but would you become mine?"
He was almost in the verge of crying. Tears had already brimmed in his eyes speaking his heart out to her..and it's way too hard to let your heart speak when all the emotions get mixed up in a second. He was having a tough time to collect the words for expressing his feelings. But she was wise enough to sense what he was trying to speak.
She stopped him to speak further by placing her soft finger over his lips, making him silent for a while.
"Ssshhh Raman." She asked him to be silent for a while, caressing his face while he closed his eyes to feel her touch.
She too kneeled down infront of him and joined her forehead to his, holding one another's hands firmly.
She placed a gentle kiss over his forehead and said with moist eyes, "I love you too Raman. I love you so much. I am genuinely very lucky to have you in my life. I've found a perfect soulmate for myself who loves me unconditionally. Thank you Raman for being this way. I love you a lot and my sweetheart would be hubby, if you're mine..then stupid..I'm yours too na. We're meant to be together."
They shared a bried eye-lock and within a fraction of second, they embraced each other, seeking the warmth of their true love.

The set of tears which were on hold in her eyes rolled down as she came back from the flashback and closed her eyes to feel him around her.
She thought, "Kya ho gaya hum dono ke beech Raman..aakhir aisi kya baat thi jiski wajah se aapne humse dooriyaan bana li? Kyun apni jaan ko khud se dur kar liya aapne? Kya takleef thi..kya wajah thi ki itne dard bhare din mujhe dikha diye? Aapko to meri aankhon me aansu pasand nahi na..to phir kyun inn aansu ki wajah ban gaye aap? Aapki Ishita kitni adhuri hai aapke bina..hamari Ruhi ke baare me bhi nahi socha aapne?" her eyes travelled at Ruhi's face. This little angel was looking so innocent, she had been craving for her father's love but unfortunately it was not possible for Ishita to give her a logical answer. How could she explain to her that why her father left her when she was just two months baby? No it was just IMPOSSIBLE.
Caressing her angelic face while sleeping, Ruhi looked pure delicate. Ishita slid her fingers on her forehead, aware enough not to disturb her sound sleep and kissed on it lovingly.
Ishita said to her sleeping figure, "Main aapko duniya ki saari khushiyaan dene ki koshish karti hoon beta..par jo khushi aapke Papa aapko de sakte hain..woh main nahi. Aap hamare pyaar ki nishaani ho Ruhi..aap ho to hamara pyaar zinda hai warna aapke Papa ke liye pyaar..mere dil me khatam ho chukka tha. Aapke ilaawa mera yahaan koi nahi Ruu..please mujhe chhod kar kahi nahi jaana. Main..aur aap..bas itni chhoti si duniya hai hamari jisme sirf aapke Papa ki yaadein basi hain..Papa nahi."
Saying this, tears brimmed in her eyes again and she couldn't control anymore. She closed her eyes and hid her face under her palms. She was losing her strength to fight against the odds..as all the flashbacks were being relished down in her mind, she was becoming weaker by each passing second, indicating she really needed him. Her heartbeats could stop anytime..as she was being weak on her knees..infront of her love. She wished for something..something that could change her life or could encourage her to live for her Ruhi..A Miracle..she needed it.
