Dejected
Dejected that was what she felt when he asked her to stay away from her daughter who doesn't even knows that she's her real mother. She hoped for some consoling moments and words from him when he approached her telling that he wants to talk about Pihu. But what he asked her was nothing but a shock for her. She didn't complained to him yet for not disclosing her identity to their daughter. She didn't complained to him whenever their daughter called him haarwaali aunty instead of Maa or Ishima like her elder children calls her. She agrees with it that she had done wrong to their daughter to him by leaving them in mid before seven years. But did she done that much bad to let her daughter stay away from her. To let her daughter stay with Shagun; the mother like figure her daughter was seeing from her birth. Well God had done so cruel with her. If and only if that accident has not happened at that fateful day now Pihu would have been only hers. She was not thinking about the incident that happened before seven years where she had lost everything. She was thinking about that accident where she herself let go her unborn child for the sake of her family rather should she say his family. She don't know the gender of that child whom she carried in her for almost a month. If that accident hadn't had happened now she'll be the luckiest woman who was alive in this world. But her fate is as bad as hers. Now her husband whom she loved to death asked himself to let her daughter go away with Shagun only because she had look after the family and the kid for seven years.
Well she'll never forget what Shagun had done for her daughter. But someone else also should remember sometimes what she had also done for that person at least sometimes. There she had decided that she'll never do the mistake that she had done seven years back. Ishita Bhalla no rather she should say Ishita Iyer had determined to fight, to fight for her identity, fight for her motherhood, fight for the love of her own daughter.
He stood there facing himself, questioning himself that what he had done is right or wrong. Should he asked to Ishita to let Pihu go with Shagun? The way looked at him with those questioning eyes still hurt him. But for him what matters now is Pihu's comfort and he knows where it lies. For Pihu the mother figure was Pihu and the father figure was him. As the scene that had happened in front of him moments back when replayed in his mind he asked himself did he is the one who's the cause for this? Did he is the one who was the reason for his wife's sufferings? Did he is the one due to whom Pihu pushes her own mother away from herself. Only if he had the courage to tell the truth to Pihu about Ishita being her mother and Shagun being her surrogate mother long back his daughter wouldn't hate him right now. Their daughter shouldn't hate them now. If and only if he didn't uttered those venomous words at her at that night they would have been lived happily now. Or if and only if he was able to rescue her during that accident they shouldn't have undergone these much problems. Guilt. That's what he always felt whenever he thinks about those two fateful days. Where the first day she was there for him after losing her kid she stood by him. But on the second night when she needed him badly he spit those venoms towards her.
He can't forget what Shagun had done for them. For the sake of his family. For the sake of his daughter. She had left the love of her life for him. The one man who believed her when everyone told that she's a wrong woman. She left him for his family when he asked her help. She sacrificed the seven years of her life without asking anything from him. But how can he ask his Ishita to let their daughter go away with Shagun? Shagun had taken care of his family doesn't means that he will give her his daughter. He's his breath. But more than that Ishita who is his soul doesn't deserves this much hatred from her own child who's her own in real means. When he had opted for surrogacy she told him she don't need one. Her Ruhi and Adi is enough for her. But he was adamant to give her the happiness of holding her own child in her hands. But did she hold that child for once. No. Because of him she was unable to even hold that baby in her hands.
There he decide to fight for his Ishita. To fight for her motherhood. To fight for all those years that she had been spent without him and his family beside her when she needed them the most. He decided to put his wife above anything, above the mother of all his children. Determined to fight for her; his wife he descended the stairs.
As he was about to reach the stairs he heard her voice "Mujhe Raman ne bahut samjane ki koshish ki Shagun ki shaadi ke baad Pihu ko uske saath bhejne keliye. But I'm sorry to say Pihu kahin nahin jaayegi. Pihu yahi rahegi."
"But Ishu?"
"Nahin Mani, Pihu kahin nahin jaayegi. Wo beti hai meri bhi. Aur usse toh koi bataya bhi nahin ki main uski maa hoon."
He looked at all of them his family who stood their laying their head down looking guiltily at her. And her best friend trying to argue with her when his fiance had ran away from there with teary eyes only to face his elder daughter standing for her mother.
At that moment he felt proud to have his elder daughter whom he had pushed away from himself due to the silly mole just above her upper lip. He looked at the scene where his Ruhi was consoling her mother saying that her decision is right. And she'll be with her in all her decisions while all the elders of his house stayed mum. He wondered is it the same family who had had n no. of fights with him for her sake. Sighing out he made his way towards her to let her know that he's also with her. He's also with her decisions.
She ran away from there crying aloud shouting that what is happening with her is not fair. Hiding behind the pillar she smirked "Jo main soch rahi hoona bilkul aisa hi ho raha hai. And U Isheeeta U reacted the way I wanted. U don't have any idea that Shagun Arora kya cheese hai"
Smirking feeling so confident at her own plan she was about to head towards Pihu's room. But her steps halted when she heard his voice.
"Ishita, Main bhi tumhari iss faisle mein tumhari saath hai."
As the couples rejoiced their togetherness once again to fight for another child of theirs' along with her two children she stood there as the colour drained out of her face as she was sure now nothing can stop them to letting Pihu knows what's her real relation with them.
