This One shot is my take at what would have happened if Ishita blurts out the entire Ishita and Raman conversation. She decided to leave, leave for her own good. Raman for the first time gets a taste of his own medicine.
I am not against the character of Raman, but this is much needed conversation Ishita needs to have. Please no bashing on this thread. It's a One shot thread, no discussion thread. I believe Ishita needs to stop being a doormat and get out all the feelings out.
IshRa OS- Ishita's Outburst!
After a lot of thinking and introspection, Ishita had taken her kids into confidence. She had explained Ruhi and Adi how it was simple if she left, is she went back to her old life, the life she had adjusted with lot of pain. She had to face lot of problems, the skeletons of her past didn't let live peacefully and now when she has got everything back, she was ready to leave everything again. Just so that her kids could have a nice life, Ruhi was back, Adi had grown up and could look after himself. Ruhi would eventually grow and move ahead in her life.
Ruhi and Adi had cried their hearts out in their mothers lap, but Ishita had her eyes set. She had no right left in this house anymore. What was she doing in this house? Since she and Raman had been apart for seven long years, it was almost as if the marriage as nullified. She had to take the legal route and she had accepted it. Tomorrow everything would be settled. Everything would be clear.
Since she came back in Raman's and Ruhi's life all she faced was insults, humiliation and taunts. Taunts from the very two people who claimed to love her the most. Yelling from the very two people who claimed to love her, betrayal from these very two people. It hurt her so such an extent that she was ready to leave everything, everything back and go to that lonely life she lived in Australia. She was ready to let go of her love for her husband, her two beautiful kids and her family. Ruhi had slowly started to realise her folly, and started making amends, but Raman was same. He was so bitter, he couldn't see the hurt, pain and anguish he gave me that very night when we lost Ru. Ruhi was our daughter Raman, but that night you made it look like only you lost her daughter. I was more in pain. It's very difficult to gain something and lose your biggest possession again. Destiny bestowed me with Ruhi, but when I have got her back, to leave her not easy. But she had made a decision.
She called her both kids, Adi and Ruhi and explained them everything. Ruhi and Adi had cried their hearts out in their mothers lap, but Ishita had her eyes set.
Ruhi: "Aap papa ke karan jaa rahe ho na?"
Ishita: "Haan Ruhi beta. I am leaving because meri koi zaroorat hi nai hai. Aur kis haq se main yahan rahoon?"
Adi: "Kis haq se matlab? Aap hamari Ishimaa hai, dadi ki bahu hai aur papa ki ..." his voice trailed before he could complete.
Ishita: "See Adi, you got the answer. Mera agar tum logon se naata hai to sirf kyunki main Raman ki biwi thi. Anyways before I found about Ruhi, he was going to get married to Shagun. Jo jaise hona tha, let it continue. I am not needed in his life anymore. And please tum dono kal koi scene mat create karna. I plead, warna mera jaana bahut mushkil ho jayega."
As Ruhi and Adi cried, Ishita hugged them tightly and slept with them. She had made a very tough decision. She had introspected and it was the best decision. It was heartbreaking for Ishita, she had got the kids, more importantly her Ruhi back, and she had got back her family. But the one man she wanted to stay back for cared none. His taunts, his words and his anger had driven her to commit suicide on that fateful day. She was saved by Mani. She was indebted to him for her life. And that's why she had obliged to care for his niece. She didn't want heartbreak, to see Raman tying knot with Shagun.
The next morning, Ishita called everyone in the living room along with Shagun, Raman and Mani. She called out to Ru, Adi and Pihu. She had called the lawyers who had got the papers ready. She wanted to declare her decision in front of everyone.
Raman: "Yeh sab kya tamasha hai Ishita?"
Ishita was very calm. She had decided not to fight this guy early in the morning. She had made her decision and she was going to announce the verdict. She very coldly responded,
Ishita: "You will get to know in a minute. Let Shagun also come. I am waiting for her itself."
As Shagun joined the Iyer and Bhalla family, Ishita finally spoke,
Ishita: "I am leaving for Australia today forever. It is my personal decision and no one has poisoned me against anyone."
She kept in front of the family the legal documents, the custody papers and the divorce documents.
She looked at Raman and Shagun, and spoke,
Ishita: "Raman, these are our divorce documents. I have signed them. Please sign them and file them in the court. It will be a hassle free divorce because I want nothing from you. No alimony, no custody battles, nothing. Anyways for you, we are not married anymore since we were apart for seven long years. So it will be an added advantage for your case to get divorce. This is just the legal formality. You can happily get married with Shagun and raise Pihu along with Ruhi and Aditya."
She turned her gaze to Shagun, who was beaming with happiness due to Ishita's decision to divorce Raman and his kids,
Ishita: "Shagun, I hope you have a happily married life. I have also signed all the legal documents. I have filed an affidavit that from now on, you are the legal guardian of Adi and Ruhi. Regarding Pihu, she is anyway Raman and your daughter. So no problem."
With that she hugged her parents and was about to go when Raman tried to stop her,
Raman: "Yeh kya bakwaas hai Ishita? Tum aise nai jaa sakti." Anger seething from his eyes.
Ishita: "Raman Bhalla, ofcourse jaa sakti hoon. See for your convenience I arranged all the legal documents, so everything will be fine. Trust me. Aap ke liye sab kuch kar rahi hoon."
Raman: "Tum aise nai jaa sakti. Ruhi bhi wapas aa gayi hai."
Ishita: "Isiliye to jaa rahi hoon. I had promised to be your wife till Ruhi is back. She is back now."
Raman glared his eyes at her, but Ishita was no mood to take his anger. She replied word to word,
Ishita: "Sauteli maa yahi to karti hai na Raman? Apne bachon ko chod ke to chali jaati hai. Ab sauteli maa hoon, to waise hi karoongi na."
Ishita's words stung Raman and it broke his heart in a thousand pieces, she further stated,
Ishita: "Agar us din, aapke shaadi ke pehle Ruhi ya Nidhi nahi mil jaate to aap Shagun se to pehle hi shaadi karnewaale the na, so I have cleared all hurdles for you."
Raman was about to breakdown from these accusations, which were all true, Ishita was not going to stop today, she had made her mind to make Raman understand what his anger, his words and his treatment towards made her into. She lost her family, her life, her Ruhi, her bond, her relations and most importantly she lost Raman.
Ishita: "Aur rahi baat Pihu ki to its better she never understands that I am her real mother. I am not. It is Shagun only. She gave birth to her and raised her. And Raman regarding surrogacy, you fooled me and got my signatures on the consent form. Do you even know that what I felt when you decided this? That too Shagun being the surrogate mother? I was anyways a mother, to Ruhi and Adi. I was happy. I was content and happy and in peace. But you shoved your idea of "Our" child on me. Raman I wanted to be a mother because I wanted to experience motherhood in all its glory. The mood swings, the hormonal changes, the cravings, your love and the intimacy. I never wanted another child, I had said no, but you believed that I will be happy."
Raman's eyes were brimming with tears, her accusations were hitting him hard. Till date she had not gone against decision, she believed in him. She was not done yet,
Ishita: "When I married you, all I got was insult, humiliation and taunts. But I brushed aside all that because I found you to be genuine, having a heart of gold. I brushed the accusations, the problems that came with your past, everything. Because I believed that come what may, as long you believe, I will be safe and secure. But the man I lost my most prized possession, my heart accused me of being a step mother, being a bad omen, it broke me. It broke me to such an extent that I went to commit suicide. It was Mani who saved me. It was your plan to take Ruhi to the hill; you promised you will save both the daughter. You failed and you burst out in anger. Did you never realise what I must have gone through? The pain, the sorrow, the helplessness, did you ever for even a second think about that? I lost my daughter, I lost Ruhi, who made me a mother in front of the world. I am sorry, but I am so broken and lost, its better I leave."
Ishita called Mani and both left for the airport along with Aliya.
Raman collapsed to the floor. The family was trying to help him, but he locked himself in his room.
Adi and Ruhi were very terrified.
Ishita left the Bhalla house to probably never come back.
