How the actor and actress is paid..its based on shooting time or episode based..suppose if the side actor takes the maximum screen space with low payment..then its only advantage to the lead ..cos less work more payment..

It depends on the pH, channel and CINTAA norms..whether it is episodic, or per day or hour of shooting..
.but i get what you are trying to say here. In that case yhm has many 'talented' side actors who could ideally be given a chance so that the lead can enjoy his or her life by working less and getting paid😊 rather than reintroduce actors that are a pain to watch on screen.

Plus audiences don't switch on their tellys at 7 30 pm to watch side actors hog most screentime..I guess they would rather switch channels. .that's why even tjhe most popular tv actors end up doing 12-14th shifts 6 days or even 7 days a week..

Btw the same lead you are trying to talk about also worked double the shift without OT pay when needed and so did his costar.. and both the leads of this show i think have enough money with them to want to rest and get paid for nothing while allowing poor low paid side actors to slog and act and slog more to give segments and interviews in their busy schedule.

For once, its a request...do try to look at the facts as they are instead of trying to find arguments that don't exist...just as justifications. ..yhm is plagued with unprofessionalism at different levels and we have been facing enough for the last 2 yrs..now the list just got longer

Anyways, I don't think povs can change, but best of luck to you with yours😊

Suppose, you are a production house manager and you're proposing this theorem of yours to a lead actor; first reaction you're gonna receive from the lead is a hard slap on your face.

I really dnt know much abt how they are Paid but one thing I am sure of is -
Dat if lead actors are paid the maximum then they are made to work maximum too.😉...the amount they are paid is not easy bucks coz work is extracted from them for every single penny dey are paid...neither d pH nor the channels are fools to pay loads of money for lesser work...dat is for sure😉

This kind of situation actually happened. Shakti Arora (male lead of MATSH) was doing NB last year, so it was tough for him to manage schedules for two shows at a time. Someone from PH gave similar kind of idea to him and got slapped in return. 😆 No dedicated actor, be a lead or side actor, would trade his/her work with this sort of arrangement. Because work is like a prayer to an actor. Even practically, it is the work which generates name, fame,money...everything for an actor.

@TM: The actor you hinted had done 3 shows at a time for 6-7 months...2 shows at a time for more than 1.5 years ( and in all of the shows he was in focal point). He didn't compromise a bit with his work even then where many would desperately look for a respite . Your question's answer is there. 😳

Thanks for sharing this incident so dat it's clear dat how actors value work more Dan anything😉

And ya the actor the TM is trying to talk abt worked in 3 shows simultaneously along wid his marriage on his s head and other professional commitments too so 👏...that actually gives a loud and clear answer 😉

In that case (less work-more pay), KP should be working for his family business. He has paid more amount of money in corporate tax as the director of his business than what he's earned as an actor in 2014-15. Seeing the amount of money he paid as coprporate tax, as a business student I'm damn sure he would earn at least 10 times higher with very less workload compared to his current equation.

PS: I have his corpoate tax record issued by Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) of India.

seems like all are earning big bucks d whole yhm team n no one at loss, only poor viewers are at loss.
