Errm.. The reason behind thia post wasn't to justify Shagun or to brand her right, as I said before.. I've only tried to read the Shagun that the writers have written. True, agree with everything you've said.. That's just who she is, although flawed majorly, just yet another human..

Avantika - Lovely writeup...

Remember, Shagun manipulated Ishita into thinking Sanjana as Mihir's sister so that his engagement can be stopped and therein he can help her get married to Ashok..There was no real need for his engagement to be stopped...she just wants him to help her..but instead of reconnecting with him even for her own purpose, she started communicating by destroying his happiness, her own brother..

From the looks of it that Shagun is back...

Shagun feels Ishita good heart as weakness which she can manipulate according to her will..But she fails to realize that, the same good heart is the reason she actually have a chance to be with her kids when they publicly disowned her before..that good heart is the reason why she had got a second chance with Pihu to somewhat correct her mistakes...

Raman never really gave her any attention in these 7 years, She was the one who jumped at the opportunity to marry him..she was the one who kept reminding him of his so called promise and she was the one who made sure it happened as early as possible so that she can be at a place where she always wanted to be..but that didn't happen in the end..

& Now when she feel threatened and crowded from all sources she restores to her old ways and strikes again ...& she fails to realize that this time there will be no more second chances..Maybe she knows that & maybe she just wants to destroy their happiness..

You wrote so well.. Avantika!!!👏👏
For me Shagun Aurora never knew how to think simple.. her belief is she deserves more, more than what life offered to her.. always eyeing the green pastures.. while she was married to Raman she didn't hesitate to grab what makes her happy.. and for the same reason she walked out on her marriage with Raman for Ashok
.. when Raman came back big.. she liked being the reason for his misery.. be it trying to get Ruhi or trying to ruin his marriage with Ishita.. She is a person who thinks only for herself and in terms of having something, it is always like I rather don't want others to have it than I want to have it.
she hated the feeling of loosing importance in Raman's life - i.e she hated to loose to Ishita the behenji.. so from there her hatred grew with each loss she incurred at Ishita's hand.. even when she was getting benefited by Ishita's good heart she didn't hesitate to take advantage of the situation.. ultimately ending up loosing everything to Ishita not because of Ishita but becasue of Shagun and her selfish nature..

I still believe that she was never white.. and what she vowed at the hospital after the earthquake was her true self.. she believed that Ishita stole everything from her and she is entitled to get them all back.. but with her black self Raman will never allow her near his kids or family.. so the white wash happened.. the only gullible person she can fool is Ishita.. so "Operation Deceive Ishita" took roots when she came back..

probably it was a very carefully orchestrated plan from surrogacy to bhoot to even shanaya getting hurt by real bullet.. (until this can be connected to Shagun.. it's just a theory.. as Raman himself put the dummys in the gun and Shagun is also part of that drastic plan).. so she really played well with Ishita and even Bhalla's naivity..

until fate played it's role and she had an opportunity to have it all only to be snatched back again.. hence her hatred took the front seat and she wants to destroy Ishita.. by hook or crook.. so the sinister plan of kidnapping and killing.. now it failed.. only she knows what axe to grind against Ishita and how far to take this game.. She could have simply asked Ishita to walk out of Raman's life as she is so attached to Pihu.. and Pihu believes that she and Raman are her parents and Ishita would have done that for Pihu's sake. but Shagun doesn't believe in good heart or charity.. For her grab it by hook or crook..

but it all once again proves that Shagun Arora can not think simple..

Good post
Shagun knew her place very well. She's nothing to Raman. All her hidden hopes raised when Raman asked her for marriage.
She remained silent even when ishra shared a room, because she trusted Raman for his word. It's clear now that shagun turned complete black the day rruhi asked about ishra marriage. When Raman himself agreed, she lost the hell. She might have used ppihutrump card then, which can be marked as only selfishness but she chose other way around
The heartless shagun arora ways, which sshagun herself hated when she was turned white.
I didn't like that she didn't think twice for kidnapping someone and also for killing ishita. She became more worst than shagun 1.0.
I've read some comments that shagun turning negative was forced, but no she just wrapped her ways, even she doesn't know this side of hers, until circumstances came

Hey.. Thank you..

Yes, I do.. And that's a very good example of her self-obsession. Her not-so-successful husband, her own children - Adi and Ruhi, Mihir, even Ashok - the man she claimed to love.. You see, the root cause behind most of her actions is her self-centeredness..
Shagun is by far the most narcissistic woman I have come across on TV..
She has never cared about the implications of her actions.. Remember the scene where Ishita had stopped her from hitting Ruhi.. She had shown her the mirror- that it was always about her.. Her children, her functions.. etc.. And she was almost bang on in her understanding of the woman.

It has always been about her - her desire to marry a rich man, her decision to leave behind a young Ruhi, her selfish motives behind using Adi to manipulate and hurt Raman, using Ishita (before the marriage) for the sake of Ruhi's custody.. And soo many more instances..
She is someone who has always wanted the best of both worlds for herself, irrespective of the fact that it needs to be earned.

And like you've said, she would have got her redemption had she really cared for Pihu and raised her selflessly. But nope, she hasn't changed. Yet again, she is all set to use her own child just to satisfy her ego, and to hurt Ishita, who she thinks is the root cause of her loneliness, and failures in life, when actually, she needs to take a good hard look at herself in the mirror. I'm quite certain Ashok will do the honours soon.. :P

I dread to imagine how Raman would react to such a betrayal. All this while, he has never trusted her at all, was always walking on egg-shells around her.. And to imagine that she would try to kill Ishita, and possibly manipulate Pihu, would come as a rude shock to the poor chap!

@Last line of your post: Ditto! This, right here is the real reason behind YHM 2.0 To eliminate Shagun forever, and to reunite all kids with Ishra, and rightfully so..

Thank you..
True.. To Raman, she has always been the woman who abandoned him and his kids, and he, apart from Mihir and Ashok, is the only one who knows the real her.. And yet, we've seen that he had started to mellow down towards her after the surrogacy track.
In Ishita's absence, he let her stay in his house and relish the privilege of being called Ishra's daughter's mother. He even offered her an explanation when Shagun walked on them in the hotel room after Ishra got drunk. For him, she is the woman who nurtured Pihu when her real mother abandoned her (a position he had once given to Ishita).

But Shagun is no Ishita. Inspite of the Bhalla family's soft corner towards her, Raman and Adi-Pihu's affection for her, Ishita's constant guilt-trip about being responsible for injustice meted out to her, she still decides to back-stab them.
Using Pihu to hurt Ishra is a move, well below the belt. This sugar-coated, conniving version of Shagun is far more dangerous than the previous one, for sure..

The malice inside her had never really left her. Now that everything seems to be slipping away from beneath her fingers, she resorts to her ultimate plan!

Very well said! I've said something similar in the above post as well. Shagun belongs to the class of people who simply are incapable of thinking beyond themselves.. Even when she was with Ashok, she was just as self-centered.

But yeah, I'm not so sure about her faking the 'white-wash'.
Remember when she wanted to get married to Ashok, although she was just as self-obsessed and left no stone unturned to humiliate Ishra, particularly Ishita, but that's the first time we saw a side of her that actually wanted to be happy, and to have nothing to do with Ishra. Alas, it all backfired because of Mihika getting involved. And Shagun was a woman scorned.

Later, when Ruhi's custody was permanently handed over to Ishita, she lost one of her two trump cards and started harbouring resentment against Ishra.

Again, when her own son disowned her and accepted Ishita as his mother instead, she walked out helplessly, only to return as a self-sufficient, changed woman. But that resentment, and sense of loneliness must have never really left her. It's difficult to get rid of it when you've nursed it with fake pride all along.

So when she was given a chance to (almost) fill the void in Raman and the children's lives, she leapt at the first opportunity. Whether she had any ulterior motives 7 years back is unknown to us yet.
But yes, she ended up mistaking Raman and the family and made every effort possible to replace Ishita, without realising that she herself had a special place amongst them.

Now that Ruhi has bound Ishra together yet again, Adi is grown-up enough to show her the mirror, and Pihu being in the close vicinity of Ishita - a woman who harbours maternal instincts for kids without expecting anything in return, she feels threatened and how!

Like you mentioned, Ishita is too soft hearted to even imagine the amount of insecurity and resentment that Shagun harbours in her heart, and hence tries to distance herself from the child that is actually her own blood. And yet, Shagun remains unaffected and stabs back; this time in a manner that would throw Ishra's lives of-course and take them back to the time when they were made to choose between Adi and Ruhi, two kids who were the centre of their worlds.. Only, this time it would be Pihu at the receiving end..

This time there would be no redemption to seek, because this betrayal would be the worst of the lot..
Neither Ishra, nor her 3 kids would forgive her, and that would be the end of the despicable Shagun Arora..

yes, I do agree at what point of time she is actually started to plan.. (though it makes me happy that she planned it all along 😃 )lets just say.. since she lost Adi after the earthquake.. she has nothing to hold on... Ruhi was never hers.. the only reason she tried to grab Ruhi is to break Ishita and Raman (which Nidhi was able to do successfully)..

but after Ishita went missing she might have genuinely offered to help Raman and Bhallas as they were mourning the two people that are dear to them.. infact everything to them..

I am also willing to believe that she didn't expect anything in return.. if she has any intention to become Mrs.RKB may be that was superficially satisfied by pretending to be Raman's wife for the outside world..

but I do say her hopes to become real mrs.RKB was actually initiated by Mrs.Bhalla.. eventhough they got squashed by Raman I think it took a strong root in her..

But crap happened with Ishita's entry.. Raman proposing to her and though she knows why he is doing this but she grabbed it.. and also she tried to convince herself that she is doing this to save Ishita from Raman. but I think having Ishita presence might have threatened her existence in Bhallas' house..

remember one conversation she had with Pihu where she asks whether Pihu loves her or not and if someone loves her more is Pihu going to forget about her? It's not so much of a insecurity but a fear of loosing Pihu to Ishita which already happened with her two kids.. fear of loosing the trumpcard to make Raman dance to her tunes..
.
But as you said she realized that despite her trying her best she could never really replaced Ishita from Bhallas' heart as well as from Raman's heart.. but her interrupted marriage with Raman and with Ruhi condition she could see how once again Ishita is making her loose everything..

This time she is gambling big though.. only to loose it all.. I am really not sure what makes her think she will not be caught...

hope i am making sense..
