I think I'll skip the last 3 episodes I missed and just watch today for the Ishita-Adi scene, RKB ka mini-return, and the oddly placed sisters scene.
Ishita is selfless and I appreciate that but like Raman's anger gets pushed too far...so does Ishita's selflessness (especially for Shagun). I am happy Adi made her realize while it is one thing not to screw over Shagun, one cannot forget the other casualties had she left again.
Maybe IshRa aren't the solution to be fair to Shagun but neither is going away.
Mani is not a bad person but Mani is what Raman is not. Mani does all that Raman never can do. And to me, Mani represents Raman's failure in building a trusting relationship with Ishita. Time and time again - we see Ishita opening up about realky important feelings to Amma, Simmi, Toshiji, Vandu, ACP, and Mani in various tracks. When the person who needs to hear her feelings and thoughts is Raman.
The two times Ishita really opened up about herself and her deep feelings to Raman was their 1st anniversary and C night. That's when she beared her soul to him but in most other tracks, Raman did not foster the relationship to have her open up to him while on the flip side he only reveals his true feelings to her.
And that is Raman's biggest failure and fear. He wants to be his spouses #1, and this insecurity stems from Shagun ditching him and making him feel he is useless as a husband, provider, and protector. Remember that scene in bhoot track he saw Ishita and ACP chatting? To me that stood out - bc he realizes he isn't the sole (and maybe even primary) confidant in his wife's life.
While everyone needs different people to confide in, for me a gage of a successful marriage is when the first person you turn to when hurt is your spouse. Sadly post leap Raman does more hurt so it makes sense as to why there is no trust or ability to communicate
Idk sorry for rambling...got carried away! 😆
