He was a perfect fit there...yes..many will not agree...but he's a neutral person who saw the effects and after effects on both Ishu and Ruhi...did he get through to ruhi?...yes he did. The fact he didn't emphasis on how much her parents love her is really good.. because she knows and he knows that she knows.. all he suggested is find that inner Ruhi.. very decent writing..

Why Mani is a perfect choice is he is very non emotional.. very clinical in his approach.. and there are no fears or bias when he is talking to her.. his goal is to reach her and reach he did..

Any other family member would've broken-down in front of her and then it would've been amounted to emotional black mail.. which she doesn't need now when she is at her emotionally wordt phase..
