Hey everyone! Don't have any story to post today, but there is something really important that I needed to mention. From the last couple of weeks I've been looking at the response all my stories have been getting, and I'm very happy that I've been getting a ton of likes on all my work! However I've also been seeing the amount of comments that I've been getting which have been great for most of my stories except for We Begin Again and Jealousy is Key. The last updates I posted for these stories got over or around 70 likes yet I only manage to get 10-15 comments. I don't know whether it's because the updates aren't worth comments or simply because you all don't want to leave any feedback since it can't be a lack of readers as both stories get so many likes. Whatever the matter may be, it's upsetting to see that the updates I spend hours on at times not getting much response since I only update due to everyone's requests. I use the time & effort I could put into studying for my exams for these updates as you all want to read these stories and I do my best to update as often.
But the amount of response I have gotten especially when I am updating even after I had planned to not write as frequently until July, has now forced me to change the way I update my work and how often I update. Usually I tried to give updates for every story in a certain order to make sure all my readers are happy and no one loses connect with any story, but with the lack of comments off late I've decided to update based on the amount of response I get. This way only the stories that everyone finds worthy of leaving feedback for will get updated and I will save myself time that I really need. So from now if any story of mines doesn't get a decent amount of feedback, I'll push it off my priority list and update the stories that do get a decent response.
And according to this as of now, the only stories I plan on updating anytime soon are The Blessing of Bliss and Destined Love. If I get time after my exams, I will try to update my Untitled TS and When The Heart Breaks. That leaves We Begin Again, When Life Falters, and Jealousy is Key to be the ones I update last only when get the time to update and if anyone wishes to read these stories. I personally love We Begin Again and had decided to continue Jealousy is Key as everyone wished to read something light hearted from me, but since there is little interest they will have to be held back. I really didn't want to do this, but I've been disheartened with the response many times and at the time of my exams I can't afford to put in time for something that isn't liked and responded.
