I wanted to write a detailed post, but trying to find words (and the time) to do so. I managed to catch the beginning and the end of the episode, and I was blown away. Both such beautiful moments, and so heart wrenching. Parents coming across their long-lost daughter in the former, and the lost child hurting against her parents in the latter. Usually I use these words for KP-DT, but Aditi was fabulous today 👏 👏 She brought Ruhi's pain, hurt, anger, insecurities all come alive. So much so that I almost had goosebumps 😭 😭 It truly felt like she channelled Ruhi from deep within, something KP & DT do with IshRa always 👏

Most gut-wrenching dialogue of the day - "Agar itna dil ka rishta tha mere saath toh tum dono mein se kisi ko mere rone ki aawaaz sunayi kyun nai di?" 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭

My heart leaps out of my chest and goes out to Ruhi 😭 😭 I love IshRa ❤️ But as parents, they failed miserably, especially for the one child who made them who they are.

Today proved once again that the CVs have all the elements to deliver a fantastic scene - Brilliant actors, tight script, perfect dialogues. YET they choose not to. 😡 In depth, this is going similar to YHM 1.0 - 3 broken souls, trying to heal together. If only they have the decency to follow through 😳

Like you said, YHM has all the elements, actors, characters, story, depth and the creativity to make a master piece out of a simple daily soap, but why they get lazy and don't create the rare magic that shines in episodes like today is something I just don't understand. Today the writing, the direction, the acting all top notch.

Then - An unloved child, a woman who was a mother in every way but couldn't bear a child and a man abandoned and cheated on ...all came together to form a family, to heal, love and live.

Now - They've all come back to where their journey began from. Raman is alone, all his relations in quandary and under fire, his past intervening in his today making him ruthless enough to push everyone out of his life. That devastating day, and its effect on his tongue and thereafter his words pushed everyone away from his life. Ishita is once again left all alone, with no love, no child and just a heap of accusations to live with...and Ruhi's life has been nothing but a torment. The child has been swapped, unloved, exploited... NOW they are all suffering like before once again only this time their pain is tenfold.

There are so many things to pick up from the episode but what stands out is Ruhi's outburst, her pain, her trauma, her loneliness and what every mistake, miscommunication and errors her parents made has caused her. Aditi was impeccable in portraying Ruhi's deepest emotions with such perfection that my heart went out to her.

Karan and Divyanka have always been masters at emoting, so they weren't a surprise. But today my mind doesn't wander to any other actor or character but Ruhi...

What we pick from the story is

1. Parents never mean harm to their kids, they could end their own life before having to cause their child to lose theirs, but their one mistake, one wrong step, one error can ruin the child's life in a way that is not reversible. I feel for IshRa as I feel for Ruhi...but they've failed her and now it's to them to keep back their own problems to make up for what their daughter has had to endure. They need to rise and be the parents they failed to be that dreadful day.

2. Words do more damage than actions. Raman's outburst after losing his life, his daughter were unmindful, and callous... his mind numbs and fades in his anger and he ends spewing so much that sometimes it crosses dreadful lines. Today every bit of it has come back to bite him and hit him hard enough to such all air out of his lungs and life out of his body.

P.S - I feel bad for everyone, every character (except of course the negative elements) Everyone is going through something they never signed up for or intended to happen. But they'll bear the brunt and we shall see a new journey. Hopefully this track is managed sensitively and fairly well. Because clearly our writers have very limited supplies when it comes to doing justice to their
characters.

Excellent post..and your last line is so true. 😛
In trying to rehash the b essence of yhm 1.0 cvs have come so close to the emotional situation that all 3 ..raman, ishita and ruhi were at the start of yhm 1.0..that if they choose the v drama way and not follow through with the emotional journey of all 3..it would be such a huge wasted opportunity and a mighty shame.
All 3 need healing. .most of all the little child who binds them heart and soul, quite like yhm 1.0. .but herein the difference is that then they were strangers who came together but now they are a broken family who need to come together. ..
Yup the outcome if done well could be a beautiful watch😛..if only. .if only they stick to simple storytelling instead of gimmicks🥱😛

Like Raman and Ishita, Ruhi too came with both baggage, and insecurity.
Except Raman and Ishita were and are adults. Rui still isn't.

She came into the world, already unwanted. Much like Raman and Ishita were unwanted. But Ruhi started her very life that way.
She could see, from a tender age, how her father ignored her. She questioned why she had no mother.

Ruhi was never allowed to be a child. thrust into a game of tug of war, between a mother who wanted her for the sake of spiting her father, and a mother who's very heart spoke to her.

Ruhi Bhalla only ever found momentary happiness in the arms of a mother she chose herself. despite the chaos, and despite the fact that she grew up very, very quickly, Ruhi still managed to find her very imperfect world, perfect. As long as her Ishima was with her.

And then, Raman too began to show just how much he loved, treasured, adored ruhi.
Ruhi Bhalla found heaven on earth despite the cruelty the world had shown her.

Essentially, every insecurity Raman and Ishita have dealt with, Ruhi too has felt. At the start of the show, we get lost in her beautiful, questioning eyes. And despite the fact that Ruhi is constantly put into turmoil, as long as her parents are by her side, she finds strength in them, and she appears strong, even when raman and ishita fall weak.

That was the Ruhi Bhalla we knew.

Who went from being unwanted, to the very reason her Ishima lived.
After the leap, we have seen Raman, Ishita and Ruhi, once again, all feel unwanted.
Ruhi's life has come full circle. She has no identity, even though she knows who she is. No family, despite living in the same complex.
Insecurity and heartbreak have broken Raman and Ishita, So what did we expect from that innocent child, who compromised upon every turn in her life, as long as her parents were with her.
Ruhi Bhalla, finally broke.
But without a shadow of a doubt, she has proven to be stronger, more resilient than her own parents.
Despite the fact that her wounds run even deeper.
Ruhi wasn't made to feel unwanted just seven years ago, she has been made to feel that way from the very first day she came into the world.

So Ruhi Bhalla is no longer the innocent who ran into the street after her puppy. She's broken, scarred, alone and shattered.

And yet, there is still a strength in her, even her parents haven't managed to find.

Lovely post Nidoo 😳
My heart went out to that girl too 😭 so heart wrenching
Like you said, as much as I love Ishra they failed as parents and Ruhi had to bear the brunt of it.

Ruhi is broken, hurt and completely shattered. She will need all the love and care from both her parents now. They need to stand strong and get back their daughter from the dark dungeon she has gone into they need to realise their mistake and heal their daughter. Make her believe in love again and get her faith back in them. There a huge task ahead of Ishra and it will be lovely to see them heal Ruhi and in process heal each other too 😳

Actually this time I want puttar to heal them both 😭 earlier we had Ishita bringing a father close to his daughter and opening up to his loved ones. This time they both need him and his love and support the most. This time I want RKB to get back his wife and daughter and complete his family.

Anku, Zoya - Thank you so much for the very eloquent way with which you have portrayed Ruhi's state, then, and now 😳 🤗

Pb, Poonam, Riah - Thank you for putting your views across so precisely 😳 We all wish the same thing from the CVs, alas!

Kaarthik - Thank you 😃 but I didn't get your second statement 😆

I'm sorry I won't be able to post individual replies today, too tired now and an early day tomorrow 😳 but thank you everyone for replying, and keep them coming 🤗
