Chapter 4
"I said stay in and slide up the glasses." Horrifies Ishita did which Raman said and they looked on worried.
"What do you want?" Raman asked flicking his eyes at them.
"Give us your wallet, watch.." One of the goon said.
"Let us go.. Don't mess with me." Raman calmly said.
"Show your herogiri elsewhere. Now give us fast." The goon said forwarding his hand, Raman knew it won't be good if he mess with them right now because they could harm Ishita, so he handed them the wallet and watch when another goon said, "The car is looking expensive. Give us the keys."
Raman looked back at Ishita when another goon said, "Bhai car ke sath free mein ladki bhi milegi." As soon as the goon said, Raman angrily glared at him and within a minute, he slapped, the goons ran to hold Raman.
"Hey..! What does she mean for you? Haan..!"
"Maine tujhe mara kyu ki tu mujhe pehle nhi mila.. Pehle milta toh musibaat sath lekar thodi na ghumta..! Have it and take her." Raman handed him the car keys with a nostalgic smile and looked at Ishita who was getting worried and wondering what Raman is going to do..!
"This will going to be fun." saying this, the goon started walking towards the car when Ishita started sweating in fear whereas Raman was smirking.
The goon opened the door and about to hold Ishita's hand when he saw Raman holding his hand, "What?"
"She isn't my wife nor my sister but she is a woman. Aur aurat ka izzat utarna nahi.. Izzat karna samajhdari ka kam hota hai." Saying this Raman punched on his face who spit blood from his mouth.
"I slapped him to warn you all but you won't understand my point.. And how could you even..? You are tails of dogs which won't get straight ever." Raman said looking all the goons, within a moment, they all jumped on Raman and they had a fight. Ishita saw them fighting and quickly called the police and informed them. After that she saw a goon take out the knife to stab Raman, she got worried and gets down from car. Raman was fighting with the others that he didn't notice the other man who was approaching to him with knife and before he could stab in Raman's back, Raman heard a loud moan, he turned back worried and saw Ishita was holding the knife with her full strength and blood was oozing badly. Raman quickly ran to him and hit him, meanwhile police arrived there and took them away.
Raman looked at Ishita who was crying in pain, he ran to her and took her hand in his. He shouted, "Who told you get down from car? I was managing na? Super woman banna chahti thi kya..?" He wrapped his handkerchief on her wound.
"He was about to stab on your back." She said looking at him when Raman looked up and their eyes met.
"So?" Raman sarcastically asked.
"If anything happened with you then..." She paused and looked at Raman who flicked his eyes, "Then what would I say to your daughter?" Raman rolled his eyes when Ishita realized he was still holding her hand, she took back her hand from him.
"Let's go to the clinic. Your wound is deep, you need to treat it." Raman said.
"Ugh..! No, I will do it at home. But right now I need to reach home fast." Ishita said worried.
"Okay. As you wish." They took sit in the car and left from there.
They reached at the society when Ishita saw Mr Iyer walked out from the building along with the guests. "Aiyo..! Stop stop.." She said horrific. And as soon as Raman stopped the car, Ishita quickly ran to her family.
"Aise bhag rahi hai jaise ki Olympic pe bhag rahi hai." He sighed and about to start the car when he saw her purse. "Yeh dekho.. Isko bhi yaha choddh gayi." He looked up and saw them standing there, Raman walked out from the car, just then Mihir arrived there and they talked.

Ishita walked in the house along with the guest, "Sorry auntyji.. Actually I met with an accident and that's why I got late."
"It's okay."
Ishita excused from there and walked in her room when Mrs Iyer followed her. "Ishu.. What has happened? How did you get hurt?"
"Nothing amma. You go out, I will just change and join you." Ishita said and about to leave when Mrs Iyer stopped her saying, "Ishu.. The guy is nice." She didn't say anything and nodded with a slight smile.

"Here's my daughter Ishita." Mrs Iyer introduced her with the guests. "Ishu, he is Subhu.. He is a business man."
"Hi Karan.." Ishita smiled at him.
"Ishu, take him inside and talk.." Mrs Iyer whispered in her ear and they walked in. After a while, they walked out from room smiling when Mrs Iyer looked at Ishita for her approval, she looked down smiling.
"Ishita aunty?" As Ishita heard the voice, it didn't take time to recognize, she turned at the direction and saw Ruhi standing. "Rooh come."
Ruhi walked in with her small steps and looked at Subhu and again she looked at Ishita. "You forgot your purse." She handed the bag to Ishita.
Everyone curiously looked at Ruhi when Mrs Iyer said, "Ruhi is Ishu's patient.. She lives in the next door."
"Aunty?" Ruhi looked at Subhu when Ishita smiled and picked her in her arms and walked to the balcony.
"What happened?" Ishita asked.
"Who is he?" Ruhi said turning her face at Subhu.
"He? He is my friend." Ishita said as she thought Ruhi is too small to understand the concept of marriage alliance.
"NO..! You're lying." Her eyes got moist.
"Rooh?"
"I understand everything. I heard everything. You are going to marry him. You are also leaving Ruhi alone. Am I so bad that everyone left me? First mumma then papa.. And now when I got papa, you are going."
"Rooh..!" A tear escaped from her eyes, she wiped Ruhi's tear saying, "I am not going anywhere Rooh. I will regularly visit you. Whenever you want me or you want to see me just call me...in next minute you will find me beside you."
"NO.. NO.. You are lying." She was adamant to believe.
"Your Ishita aunty is right." Ruhi heard a manly voice and they turned and saw Subhu standing. "Hi.. Subhu.. You?" He asked forwarding his hand but little Ruhi looked away.
"Rooh.." Ishita was about to say something but Subhu stopped her. "Oho.. So sad.. Someone doesn't know her name. Okay.. No problem.. I brought two chocolates but it seems someone doesn't want to talk with me, so I will give the chocolate to Ishita."
Ruhi looked at the chocolate from corner of her eyes and said, "Ruhi.."
"I didn't hear you."
Ruhi looked at him saying," Ruhi.. Ruhi Bhalla."
"Pretty name just like you." Subhu said and gave her the chocolate.
"Thank you." She smiled.
"May I?" He forwarded his hand when Ruhi looked at Ishita she nodded with a smile and Subhu took her in his arms. "You know what Ruhi.. Thank you that you came here or else your Ishita aunty won't say about you to me. Now I will look after that she meets you every day. okay..? Jab humari shadi ho jayegi, I, personally will take her to you and then you can spend time with her."
"Promise?"
"Yes.. But you have to do one thing for this."
"What?" She asked.
"Will you make me your friend?"
Ruhi laughed and hugged him. She kissed on his cheek saying, "You are nice uncle.." Subhu also kissed her.
"Now drop me down.. I will inform this to papa." Subhu dropped her and she ran from there. Subhu looked at Ishita who was smiling, "I didn't thought you would like kids."
Ishita smiled," Yes, I like kids but Ruhi.. She is special."
"Yes, I can see that.."
They smiled and walked inside. Soon the families finalize the date of their engagement and then they took leave.

At Bhalla house, Raman was going out from house when Toshiji stopped him saying, "See these girls. Whom you like?"
Hearing about girls, Raman got furious, he snatched the photos and tore them into pieces saying, "When you know my decision then why did you always drag the topic? Mujhe shadi nahi karni hai.. Mein khush hoon." Saying this he walked out fuming.
Ishita was going to go inside the building when she collide with Raman. "Congratulations..! Ruhi said, you are getting married."
"Yes. Thank you."
"Ab shadi ke excitement mein meri beti ka ilaaj karna bhool maat jana." He taunted.
"Am I so careless? And waise bhi mein hamesha mere personal aur professional life ko alag rakhti hoon, so don't teach me." Saying this, Ishita walked inside before they end up in argue.
Ishita climbed up the stairs thinking, "Kabhi seedhe mooh yeh baat kyu nahi karte." She turned and saw Raman leaving in the car.

Next day was Sunday and Ruhi was getting bore in house, so she was adamant to go out with her father and Raman couldn't deny to his daughter, they walked out from the house when Ruhi saw Ishita, she ran to her and his her around her waist. "Arey Rooh..! You are looking pretty."
"Thank you. Today I am going out with papa." Ishita looked at Raman impressed when suddenly Ruhi said, "Let's go with us aunty. It will be fun."
"No Ruhi. You enjoy with your papa." She denied but Ruhi was adamant, "Let's go na.. Phir toh aap uss uncle ke sath yaha se chale jaoge.. Chalo please." Ruhi almost dragged Ishita.
"Okay meri ma.. Chalte hai.. Give me a minute." Ishita walked in and informed her mother who also tried to stop her saying tomorrow her engagement, she shouldn't go out but Ishita can't deny Ruhi so she convinced her and walked out from house.
"Har jagah kabab mein haddi banke tapak jati hai." Raman murmured making a face when he saw Ishita.

Raman drives the car along with Ruhi who was sitting on Ishita's lap and playing with her hair.
"Rooh.. Don't!!" Ishita shook her head while removing her hand from her hair.
"I like your hair.. You looks so beautiful in long hair. Isn't papa??" She asked looking at Raman who doesn't know how to react on it. "Tell me na papa.." Ruhi again said when he looked at his side where he found Ishita uncomfortable with the topic, so to lightening the moment, he said, "Who wants ice cream??"
Ruhi jumped in excitement saying, "Me.. Me.." Raman smiled and parked the car near a ice cream parlour.
"Ruhi, you sit here with her. I am bringing ice cream here." Raman said and about to get down when Ruhi said, "No papa. You have no idea about the flavour. Always I told you one and you brought something else. You have very short memory. I will go with you."
Ishita chuckled hearing this when Raman being embarrass, gets down from car. Ruhi and Ishita followed him.
Raman went to the shop keeper and was going to order when his phone rings, he showed the caller id and then looked at Ishita asking, "You give the order. I need to attend the call."
Ishita nodded and she went to the keeper along with Ruhi, Ishita was ordering the ice cream whereas Ruhi was looking around when suddenly her eyes fall on balloon seller, she got excited seeing the colorful balloons, she turned back and found Raman was away from them attending a call whereas Ishita was ordering, she again turned to the balloon seller and saw him leaving she ran to him to stop him from going. The balloon seller was at the opposite side of the road, Ruhi almost ran to the middle of the road and got stuck there, she got scared seeing the cars coming with a speed.. Other side Ishita took the ice cream from the seller and turned to Ruhi but she didn't find her there so she searched for her and spotted her in the middle of the road.
Ishita shouted, "Ruhi..."
Hearing her shout, Raman too looked at her and gets shocked when suddenly they both saw a truck coming towards her, without wasting time they ran to save her but as Raman was little far away from them so it was easy for Ishita to reach first. She ran as fast as she could and in a matter of a second Ishita pushed Ruhi to the opposite side and got hit by the truck.
Seeing the view Ruhi shouted, "Papa!!" and she fainted there.
The truck hit Ishita with a speed that she fall on road in a distance, blood spread on the road and Ishita's vision started getting blurred, she looked at Ruhi fainted. "Rooh..!" And everything gets black...
