I am not justifying him, let me put a disclaimer before anyone says I am siding him. But I've finally begun understanding the complexity that Raman is.
It's not like he doesn't remember the words he said to her and that the words drove her away. In his own words he said he lived each day guilty that she committed suicide because of him. Knowing Raman he would have probably realized what he said in his anger (which can never be justified) the moment his anger subsided 7 years back. But when she comes back alive, and he realizes she has been living with Mani whose her best friend, who Raman knows is the one person who knows most about Ishita, and with a girl who calls him Amma... His anger revives again against the happiness he felt on seeing her. He keeps on and on and on with those words awaiting a reaction from her to see if she's affected by him at all. The words didn't make a difference so he went ahead and proposed marriage to Shagun thinking that would bring a reaction.Any and every scene they have he's constantly instigating her. He realized 7 years back what affect he has on her, that his words could drive her to her death. And he keeps repeating the same words like a record for the same reason and when she doesn't react he believes she's moved on. Thus the reaction you mentioned when Adi says Ishima still loves him, he wanted to know if she really did even now...That's why the snark in the precap, that's why the unnecessary invitation to Mani, craving for reaction. And this isn't some thought of plan, it's just how his head works.P.S - I am not justifying him. But every characters been woven like a web now, and it takes a lot of brain cell to understand why Raman does certain things.I understand why Ishita left, why she didn't come back, why she chose to be claimed dead, and so on. Similarly although Raman's been a broken record...his actions are now beginning to put light on the man that's hidden behind the supposed beast they have made him.

V r not getting raman's pov directly bt indirectly anyone can understand y he is doing this ...
Wen adi said she still loves u ..his expression changed...he paused for a minute to confirm..
Acc to him...she faked death ran away to her friend n made her own happy family aliya calling her amma n here he ws living in a hell...guilt ridden for her suicide n she ws very much alive...he doesnt know wat happened with ishita ..how she ended up with mani in aussie...
I said this before too root cause of his anger is mani...he is not able digest this fact ishita chose mani over him..she left her kids specially a newborn n bvr turned to look back...this is hurting him the most...
Same dialogues again n again ..he wants to c wat effect he has on her now...bt ishita doesnt show anything...she needs to speak up...
Precap ...'tumhara mani '...said it all...anyone can c y is inviting mani..
Ishita said to keep mani out of it...n he will think she is protecting him..bcs wen mani said at police station to raman u nvr respect woman ishita ws quite...
