Part 7

Ishita wakes up and sees ruhi sleeping... she gets up and tries to wake her.. ruhi pulls duvet on her and says: mumma ten minutes... ishita smiles and says: you are getting late baby...

Ruhi gets up lazily and says: good morning mumma...

Ishita: good morning rooh... wow.. mera baby jaldi uth gaya...

Ruhi nods and says: I am a good girl na... papa says don't bother mumma...

Ishita: hmmm... my ruhi is very good girl... chalo ready hoty hain...

Ishita lifts ruhi and get busy in her morning chores... after getting bath and making ruhi ready, ishita was working in kitchen and ruhi was waiting for her breakfast...

Bell rings...

Ishita: rooh.. open the door.. papa hongay...

Ruhi runs to open the door but does not finds raman as it was newspaper..she gets sad.. ishita also gets worried as raman always comes at breakfast time...

Ruhi: papa kahan hain???

Ishita: papa thak gaye na... soo rahy hongay...

Ruhi: hmm...

Ishita: breakfast ready... chalo khaty hain.. both eats breakfast and start their day...

Ishita drops ruhi at school and goes to her office but her mind was still occupied with raman thoughts... his absence was making difference... she has get used to with his presence... he will always drop both in morning... and whenever he cant he always tell reason but today there is no trace of him...

Ishita : kahin chaly to nahe gaye... no no.. he cant go like this...I hope he will be fine... she smacks herself for not concentrating on work... and gets busy in work...

In afternoon, it was another shock that he hasn't came to pick ruhi... she gets more worried for raman... they reaches home...

Ishita: rooh..

Ruhi: mumma... papa..

Ishita gives key and says: go and open the door and see whether your papa at home or not.. no wait... firstly I will call him...

Ruhi nods as obedient child...

Ishita takes her phone and dails the number.. bell rings. Both sees here and there and finds the phone kept at table...

Ruhi: papa's mobile...

Ishita: how irresponsible... kisi ko fikar nahe hai koi pareshaan hai... he forgot his mobile here... ye raman bhi na...

Ruhi giggles..

Ishita: why you are laughing at mumma...

Ruhi: mumma don't scold papa...

Ishita: acha bachu... Mumma will scold papa... he should be known na ruhi and mumma will be worried for him... she said in go but stop saying as she gets thinking... why he is becoming so much important to her...

Ruhi: mein jaon???

Ishita: where...

Ruhi shows keys .. ishita nods... ruhi happily runs to raman flat... ishita was coming behind her but stops as again raman phone rings... maa flashes... listening to ruhi shout.. ishita hurriedly runs to raman flat while mistakenly receives the call and speaker gets on...

Ishita sees ruhi crying while raman was laying on bed with no response... her heart start beating fast thinking about the worst ... she goes towards them and touches raman forehead and feels that he is burning in fever...

Ruhi kept crying and trying to wake raman .. on the call toshi jee gets shock to hear papa... ishita wipes ruhi tears and says: papa will get fine.. rooh don't cry bacha...

Ishita sprinkle water on raman and raman slowly opens his eyes and sees ishita and ruhi worriedly looking at him...

Raman: rooh... baby papa is fine.. why my baby is crying... he speaks with great difficulty as he was feeling very weak...

This was another blow to toshi jee knowing that his son has not only wife but also has daughter... she was shocked.. she cuts the call...

Ishita takes her phone and calls doctor.. while raman says: he is fine.. ishita shoots dragger at him raman makes a sad face..

Ishita: you should have called me ... what if we don't come to check .. your health get worsen...

Raman: ishita... its just a fever...

Ishita: dekh raha hai...

Raman: ishita..

Ishita: just shut up...

Raman sees ruhi... ruhi puts her finger on lips... raman also puts his finger on lips... ishita goes saying she is going to bring ice...

Ruhi hugs raman while raman lovingly pats her head... ruhi says: ruhi was so worried for papa...

Raman: sorry...

Ruhi: mumma was also worried...

Raman: hmmm...

Ishita comes with ice cubes and ask ruhi to stay away as raman needs rest... both father and daughter shook their head in negative... ishita glares at them..

Ishita: ruhi.. papa is weak na.. he needs rest... be a good girl

Ruhi: no mumma.. ruhi will be with papa...

Raman: let it be na

Ishita: raman ruhi is kid... you cant even sit properly but...

Ruhi forward her little hands and says: let me do...

Ishita: both sit quietly... let me do.. she was keep scolding raman for his carelessness while raman was enjoying the care...

Doctor comes and prescribe medicines and ask raman to have rest... ruhi slept hugging raman as she was tired after coming from school..

ishita bring soup for raman.. looking at the soup raman start making faces and says: soup yucky...

ishita: raman stop acting childish... its good for you...

raman: no..

ishita: raman its tasty.. have it na baba...

raman was still adamant... ishtia takes a spoon full and bring closer to raman.. raman tightly closes his lips and shook his head in negative...

ishita chuckles at his antics and says: impossible raman... okay look its not that bad... see.. its good... she takes a spoon and says: have it raman...

raman: pakka.. its tasty...

ishita nods...

ishita feeds raman.. raman says: ya.. its not bad...

ishita smiles and fed him full... wipes his face with napkin and gives medicines... raman gulps the medicines with water but start coughing... ishita shift closer to raman and rubs his back and makes his face upward...

both shares eyelock... first time they were close without any excuse of ruhi.. both were feeling different...

raman: wake up ruhi and give her something.. she has slept without having anything... ishtia nods and wakes up ruhi and feeds her...

then she comes with two glasses of milk... raman pretends to sleep seeing the milk and mutters: she is fine na why so much care...

ishita shooks him and says: raman drink this milk... look ruhi is also drinking..

raman sees ishita and says: no...

ruhi: papa drink na... its good... strong karta hai...

raman: ruhi.. papa doesnot like milk...

Ruhi: papa...

Ishita: raman have it.. nautakni band karo..

Ruhi giggles..

Raman: give some respect to me... kiya bachi kay samne...

Ishita forward the glass...raman takes and drinks it in one go.. then glares at ishita and says: let me sleep and please don't come with another item...

Ruhi opens her little arms and says: come papa.. ruhi will make papa sleep...

Ishita and raman smiles listening to ruhi.. ruman lays and hugs each other and closes their eyes to sleep while ishita admires them.. she sits beside raman and start giving cold sponge... raman opens his eyes and glares at ishita but ishita glares back at raman and closes raman eyes and continues to sponge... and smiles remembering raman childish antics...

In no time both ruman sleeps.. while ishita keep looking at them while continuing her work...
