Ruhi is a victim. This is what happens in kidnapping cases & abusive relationship - both domestic and child.

The abuser literally tears away all hope from the victim so there is nothing left.

Honestly just imagine yourself in these shoes

You are in a new country
You are told your parents don't want you
You are told you aren't as good as your new sibling
You are told you are exchangeable like a used purse
You are told if you resist your father will die
You are beat violently if you act out
You are forced to work
You are not given food regularly if you speak out
You are thrown around like a toy
You are not allowed to go to school
You are kept alone from everyone
You are beat with a belt
And that's probably not all

This is the MOST disgusting crap I have ever seen and I'm back to crying again.

And what's sad is most people probably don't get the gravity of this. You don't need a degree or anything to realize just how disgusting and pathetic and hopeless this is. And it's unnecessary to show it to this extent

Child abuse isn't a game or TRP grabber

God there goes my morning

Obviously she can hit back.

If she hits back. Nidhi will beat her more. She will physically abuse her more. Alreasy she is tolerating too much. And there is no way she can run as her life is totally under control by Naagin.

Clearly, people don't understand the gravity of the situation!

Somehow I can't take this.
Ruhi had resigned herself to her fate.
She does not have the mental strength to do it.

And that's why a show that can't handle sensitive topics shouldn't show this. It's perpetuating misinformation and bad messages

Instead of educating people, especially those who are not educated in the matter - BT & SP just use and abuse sensitive topics and social issues for drama

She is a child. If Pallavi couldn't get out of an abusive relationship on her own - what do you expect of a child between the ages of 7-14?

Do you want her to end up in a hospital bed on ventilator support?

Nidhi has taken away all her hope but she still manages to survive.

Here's hoping that for once YHM CVs tackle a topic, sensibly!

Might seem out of context.
But my in-laws tortured me during the 1st year of my marriage.
When I narrate the same to my daughter now,she says if it had been her,she would have given it to them ,then and there.
I assumed that I must have been the weakling.
But if I think well I realise now that they had made me feel that low and weak.

Ruhi hasn't had a healthy life from the get go. She became motherless at a tiny age; her father couldn't muster the courage to give her the love and care she deserved. Then came her biological mother out the blue and stole her away from the cocoon of comfort. She became embroiled in custody battles with none to call her own.

There came Ishita Aunty: The woman Ruhi hoped would take her away from any calamity that befell her. However, did she get the childhood she deserved even with Ishita. Evidently, no!

I tell you why. Ishita was ridiculed, time and again for her inability to give birth. It was Ruhi who stood up to fight the world for her "Ishi Maa" . Her family started considering this little girl a "Sherni" ... she visited clinics alone, hatched plans. At the end, she was taken away by Nidhi cos her parents thought she was MATURE enough to handle such a delicate situation.

In all this, they forgot that Ruhi WAS but a child!

This girl is shattered and she needs her parents the most! Therefore, CVs hurry up and rescue my little Roo bacha

First of all - I am so sorry you had to experience that. And you are not weak. You just dealt with the situation at hand the only way that seemed feasible and safe at the time. There is always bias when we look backwards but in the moment we just react as humans.

And that's my point - the victim isn't mentally weak but rather they hope and mental fortitude has been ripped away. In cases of abuse resistance is shown as equaling severe beatings to the point of near death as the only outcome.

The victim isn't weak but the victim just goes with the flow bc even if hope is ripped away there is an innate desire to live in humans.

In Ruhi's POV - her options are to listen to Nidhi and live, fight Nidhi or try to get help and likely die, or commit suicide...
