Sukoon Mila..

Raman stood there staring at the setting sun, feeling the waves touch his feet.

"Yet another breakup!" he thought aloud as he kicked the sand in frustration. He thought of all the relationships he had been into till now! At the age of 28, he thought about all the women who were a part of his life at some time. But even after so many attempts, none of them managed to touch the real him.. To affect the real him!

"Where has all the love gone?!" He wondered only to burst out laughing at his own stupid thoughts. Love? It's probably the only thing he could never believe in.

Whenever he thought about love, the only person that came to his mind was his best friend, Ishita. Before you think, no, not because he love her but she is probably the only person who believes in fairytale love stories even today!

"Crazy!" That's what he calls her whenever she starts talking about love, hopes and dreams. She surely lives in a world of her own where someday.. Some prince charming riding on a white horse would come who would stay with her till eternity. Stupid! Isn't it?!

He smiled as the sun merged with the blue waters of the wide ocean. He remembered Ishita's description, Such a beautiful way to co-exist, they merge yet none loses their individuality.

But now he is thinking about it, it kind of makes sense! Just like sun and water, in a relationship, cooperation is as important as one's individuality.

"God! I'm sounding like Ishita! Btw where the hell she is?! She promised 7'o clock!" He thought as he looked around, searching for his only best-friend.

His mind went back to the time when he was in relationship! Some of the girls he dated were dead-gorgeous, some were pretty with brain, and few were total waste of time. But every time, he had give up because of one problem or other. Name it compatibility issues, or constant rants about latest fashion, or too ambitious to handle!

Then, there was her, Ishita! Though crazy but he couldn't think of single day, when he had issues with her. Their understanding was beautiful and she was always there with him when he needed her.

Just like today, the moment he broke up the first person who came in his mind was her. He chuckled as he remembered the fun they used to have during school times, or how they used to lie to their parents about group studies and then went out to their favorite Chinese point to relish the delicacies.

When suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to find Ishita standing with her arms crossed across her chest.

"You duffer! Idiot! I was waiting for you at our usual point and you are here!"

"Opps!" He sheepishly grinned.

Jab se juda tujhse jiya

Chain o qaraar dil ko mila (x2)

"So.. another breakup.. Huh?" She asked.

He gave her How-Do-You-Know-Expressions!

"Well that was an easy guess.. I'm pretty sure we are not here to discuss the foreign policies of the country!" She replied with a chuckle.

"So.. what is it? No compatibility again?!" She asked as we began to move forward.

"Doesn't matter now! I'm over her.. And happy about it!" He replied.

Jab bhi rahoon sang tere

Bhoolun har gham shiqwa gila

"Oye hoye.. Thats a good change! Then, why are we here?" She asked with a cute pout.

"How I wish I could kiss them!" He thought, only to be amused by his own thinking. "Shut up!" He mentally chided himself.

"I am expecting an answer!" Ishita said as she looked at him confused and he realised he was staring her for way too long!

"I don't know... But I guess I'm tired of this hit and trial now! I need some stability! So was thinking to settle down.. And to settle down I need to find my soulmate.." He replied.

Tere ishq ka hi nasha hai

Meri rooh tak mein basaa hai

Ishita looked at him still confused, but as soon as she heard soulmate word coming out of his mouth she couldn't help but burst out laughing! Raman couldn't help but notice the wrinkles formed near her eyes as she smiled wide. Also she had left her hairs open today as they blowed with breeze enhancing their beauty. For him, the word love personified her! Just when, she snapped him out of his thoughts.

Tune aankhon se jo chhuaa

Sukoon mila, sukoon mila.. mm..

"Are you okay Raman?!" She asked as she touched his forehead to check if he had fever or something.

"Arre I'm serious yaar! Help me out!" He replied seriously.

"Okay.. What do you want to know?"

"How? How will I find my soulmate?"

"There is nothing like finding your soulmate Raman.. You meet the person and you know it that you both can fit in together like gloves!

Soulmates are the one who understand the unspoken, hear the unsaid, and feel the unfelt! They hold the capability to bring out things in you, you yourself aren't aware of, They complete us!" Ishita replied in one go!

Raman pondered on her words, understand the unspoken.. Like she understands his silence!

Hear the usaid.. like one look at him and she knows he needs someone to hug him tight and tell him everything is going to be alright!

Feel the unfelt.. Like he feels a sense of calmness with her around!

Raman could feel a soft smile gracing his lips. He tucked one of her hair strands behind her ear as he cupped her face. She looked confused trying to comprehend his actions.

"I think.. I've found my soulmate!" He whispered huskily.

"You're joking, right?!"

"Throughout the time you were describing soulmates, I tried going back to the school, college, office and even now, but no one fitted that description better than you. Nothing is hidden from you.. No one knows me better than you!"

"Think again.. You will have to endure my craziness life long!" She replied, bit teary!

He laughed, "I will gladly do that!"

Ishita smiled so did he, clutching her into his embrace tightly!
