Hello people.

I so wish I could have been here these past two days to discuss about the show live but life 😭

But finally I have sometime today,

just posted this about the new look on another thread posted by me, will just copy paste 😳

I think that she looks cute and the look is different from whatever I have ever seen her

I'm still not satisfied with the kind of clothes given, but then again Indian TV doesn't have Manish Malhotra for a stylist and the budget is lesser for a lead than what KJo spends for the extras he has in his movies dancing to songs

Wish TV could at least come out of the stone age in this area.

The girls on TV dont have an option to have a say in makeovers or even the normal look of their characters beyond a few inputs and stating their comfort level.

And DT isnt the first actress to have had a makeover thats not living upto the expectations people had. A few months back the heroine of KKB was also given a makeover, and by that I mean from suits to sarees and sarees that are almost so similar you would mistake them to be uniforms or a stock bought in a wholesale market in a dozen different colors with a few blouses.

The only reason Ishita as Shanaya didnt have fancier and more Shagun like Sarees is because that has been done already in the ghost track and more importantly Shanaya is a NRI as per the track, so it makes more sense for her to don westerns

These makeovers are pertaining to the budget alloted by the channel and their approval as well, who would not want to look their best, but the power lies in the hands that hold the moolah - so over here, it is the collective decision of Ekta and the channel, and given the outfits Ms Kapoor sports herself which we all have seen time and again it's a safe bet and a no-brainer to say that she is no fashionista 😆

The things Ekta herself wears despite no lack of money to buy whatever she likes or a stylist to help her do the job leaves a lot to be desired, so given that I'm just thankful that DT isnt wearing that awful wig we all hated earlier, this chic bob is a lot better.

Coming to IshRa reunion, I have actually lost my mind on Insta already and waxed poetic 😆😆 but it was amazing, only if it had lasted longer...they should really, seriously stop giving out OLVs of such scenes in such details, if the PH wants to incite curiousity and spark interest they should rather release pictures of the shoot and scenes like how it happens in the west, it keeps the viewers hooked but doesnt give away what happens, even their sneak peeks arent more than a minute long.

The scene was aired almost entirely in the OLV like the consummation scene, which while watching the episode kills the buzz of online viewers and thanks to SBS and the likes even that of the TV audience.

Moderation is a good thing in certain areas of life and this firmly applies on the OLV thing.

The acting as always has been topnotch from our leads - from the moment the door of the hut opens with Ishita miffed with Raman, knowing he cant do anything to harm her and has been the one who devised the plan to save her and yet, angry with him because she missed him more than anything was so cute and of course their hugs sigh its like staying apart for all this time has been made up in one single scene 😆😆

The best moments were definitely when they were repeatedly holding each other, hugging each other but the ones I liked the most were the tear scene, the second hug which Ishita initiates by placing her head on his shoulder the moment they pull out of the first hug 😆 and of course the teeny tiny moment where she says she knew it was him who planned her escape and he has this tiny smile on his face as he hears her say, I knew it was you...

The next would definitely be a tie between Ishita Ashok scene with Ashok kinda looking like he's seen a ghost, only one who has had a makeover and Raman irked while embracing lady godzilla.

Also it seems the CVs do surf the forum, 😉 they answered the questions people had - Raman asked lady godzilla to sleep in his bedroom instead of Simi' as she has been doing since she has came - putting to rest the queries about Puttar' fidelity and his purity 😆😆😆

The precap was hilarious though - Ishita aka Shanaya wants to know if Ashok has any diseases and wants to ask Raman - the thing that rings off bells when diseases was mentioned was STDs 🤣

Raman is supposed to know if Ass has STDs? 😲🤣 🤣

People we have it right, the real mohabbat of this show is between AshRa - if two men know things like that about each other or are supposed to know, they definitely LOVE each other 🤣

hey Aani quite agree with the points you pointed...I do not have much knowledge about how these shows run by the PH/Channel nor do I have any idea of the show you mentioned!
if it is for EK and her command as to how to make the FL look then I get it how DT being so acutely pretty is now aching to the eyes with her looks EK's fashion sense is a disaster!
but didn't we read in some segments that DT has been offered 26 diff looks, from which she has chosen this! if this is the best she thinks, I dreadfully wonder how the other 25 looks have been😳

I personally think her hair could have been used properly instead of bobbing it..honestly she doesn't look good in short hair! n no comments about the dress🥱

I forgot to add this in the earlier post, 😳

The witness who saw Raman and had him sketched, I am having second thoughts about him, the man might be a pawn of lady godzilla, whose sad sob story we now know, which was stupider to look at than it was to read about it...why kill yourself for something like that, I mean which marriage is fixed in this day and age, let alone 12 years ago, which again is a figure the CVs have wrong since Adi is 13/14, but again - how could the marriage which broke and led to this destruction been fixed in the first place when the intended boy and girl never even met? 😕

Like what Raman was supposed to marry a girl he didnt even look at once?

What time period did the CVs imagine existed a decade ago? The 1800's or before, where parents finalized things and you just had to show up for the ceremony without even knowing who your intended spouse is?

Toshiji honestly has been given the most awful record of being the mother who can destroy her children' lives - earlier it had seemed Shagun was her choice, but seeems like Puttar saw her somewhere and got infatuated, so that is remefied but there is still the alarming choice of Subbu, the guy Rinky almost married who turned out to be a cheat and I think if they show Parmeete was her choice too I wont be shocked at this point 😳

Moving on, it was so stupid for the man to kill himself because he thought his daughter might never get married or because of the supposed badnami/ infamy of the broken alliance - because HELLO, who announces the marriage has been fixed when the boy and girl have not even seen each other, not even in pictures 😕

I realized I got distracted... 😆😆

As I was saying the man might be the pawn of lady godzilla

He has disappeared on her instructions because she wants revenge...

The other day when she was supposedly gloating to herself that she had made Raman so crazy about her that he killed Ishita for her 🤢🤢 it gave me a brainwave.

The woman wants to marry him because she wants to ruin him and his family, after the marriage the man would have reappeared, since the moron obviously doesnt realize her marriage would have been illegal, given that Ishita has neither been declared dead nor there has been there any divorce, she might have planned to have Raman arrested on charges of murdering Ishita and have him prosecuted on the testimony of an eyewitness planted by her...which makes sense.

Raman told Ishita that he had to push her off a cliff not only to win lady godzilla' trust but because someone was watching them - it was that same old man. He was to have testified against Raman always at an appropriate time.

And once that was done, once Raman was jailed and possibly hanged she would have kicked the Bhallas out of their home - she has already invaded Raman' business - she wanted everyone to end up on the streets.

Well you see when a makeover or a normal look of any lead is decided by the channel and PH based on what they have conceptualized the lead as - a part of the budget of the show is alloted to the costumes and it is for the entire cast - though the leads are treated better it is still not in their power to decide what they would wear.

The actor - hero or heroine is not at a liberty to even select the fabric they will wear for almost 12-16 hours a day.

Which is why you see so many heroines have similar clothes and all the guys are almost identical in their suits and kurtas, the only thing that they are allowed to decide is the colors they like or dislike and the pattern of their necklines, the second is optional.

They have no power to voice their opinions beyond that.

Its the channel and the PH who get to do that. The photoshoot we saw earlier of DT was not for her but Ekta and the channel people to take a look at the various looks she tried on, since they obviously cannot sit there for hours while DT keeps changing - they decide based on the pictures taken and think which one looks the best.

The problem with the channels and PHs is that they still want to cater to small towns and villages when they decide the looks of their leads not any urban city like Mumbai or Delhi, which is why the leads are dressed as they are in such flashy outfits and even gaudier jewelry...

IF you notice YHM when catering to the urban audiences in the 11 pm slot had a different target audience, which is why Ishita could wear a green dress or the blue one which had a hint of cleavage or the black one where she had an almost bare back but in this one the one time she was given a western outfit was the pink one during the consummation scene but even that was not very fashionable, its a nobrainer then why we have such costumes

Its NOT possible that ALL the girls who work on telly have a terrible taste to don the clothes that we see them wear onscreen 😆
