Raman was standing near the window lost in his thoughts when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turn only to see ishita standing there.
Ishita- what happened Raman,why r u so tensed.ur marriage got fixed today but u r not looking happy.is something bothering u.
Raman- can I hug u ishi.he asked with utmost sincerity only to see ishita opening her arms for him.he engulf himself in her arms and hugged her tightly.ishita too hugged him tightly.they were standing hugging each other tight,both were sobbing but not telling the other one their sorrow.after some time they broke the hug and ishita sat near Raman,Raman lay his head in her lap and said- can I ask u something.
Ishita caressed his hair and said- ofcourse.
Raman look at her and asked- if u love someone but he or she don't love u back or u r not confirmed about his or her feeling,then what one should do ,to know his or her feeling.
Ishita- main kuch samjhi nahi.
Raman- nothing let it be,tell me how's life.itne din kya kiya mere bina.
Ishita- nothing special just usual.
Raman- u must have missed me alot naa.kitna achcha hota agar tera bhi admission wahan ho gaya hota naa.he said and look at her and can see her face turning pale .
Ishita- yes achcha toh hota but what we can do,may be I am not that intelligent like u.Raman I have to go ,amma must be waiting.she said and turn to go only to feel a hold on her hand.
Raman- itni bhi kya jaldi hai.come let me drop u.he said and went out with her.ishita was simply following her not knowing how to composed herself after his question regarding her admission.
Raman went to his BMW bike and sat on it.ishita sat behind him and he started the bike .he was riding it while ishita was just sitting behind him silently.
To break the ice Raman said- yaad hai ishi,we use to ride bikes in night before I went abroad,kitna maza karte the naa hum.
Ishita smiled remembering that days and said- ofcourse,usse kaise bhool sakti hoon,that were the golden days of our life,sirf ishi aur uska Raman.I really miss those days.she said lost in the memories.
Raman smiled hearing ishi and uska Raman from her mouth.he now want to recall those days so he speed up the bike making ishita hold him more tightly and she closed her eyes in fear.
Ishita- what r u doing Raman,mujhe darr lag raha hai.
Raman- hehehe maza aaya ishi.
Ishita- no stop it Raman,I am scared.
Raman- I will not stop as I am reminiscing our old days,zor se padak lo. Raman is taking u back in time.he said and speed up the bike some more.ishita hugged him more tightly and finally after ten minutes he stopped his bike and said- open ur eyes madrasan.
Ishita slowly open her eyes only to see her in front of the river,where they use to spend time together ,studying together,chilling out together and making fun of others together. That was a couple spot and only couples use to visit there but ishra always go there together and start making fun of the couples,this was kind of their time pass.
Ishita- aapko abhi bhi yeh jagah yaad hai Raman.
Raman- isse kaise bhool sakta hoon.we have spend maximum time of our togetherness here only.iss jagah se hamari kitni yaadein judi hai and now it's time to reminisce them.come,he said holding her hand.ishita was too happy feeling her old Raman with her,they sat on a rock near the river and was just sitting hand in hand when Raman went somewhere and back with two cup of tea for them,they sat together and start remembering their old days sipping tea.Raman was talking to her and was thinking that nothing have changed between them .everything is like before only.he thought of saying his feelings to her and was about to say but just then her phone ranged breaking their moment. Raman was hell irritated by the call and to add to his irritation it was rahul's call.
Raman- why he is calling u at this time it's eleven in night.
Ishita- don't know ,she said and picked the call,only to hear that he has fallen sick so she had to prepare the presentation for tomorrow.
Ishita- OK rahul I will prepare it.I will start working on it now itself .saying so she hung the call and told Raman to drop her home as she has to prepare an important presentation.
Raman- no we r not going anywhere and moreover why u will prepare the presentation ,yeh toh uska kaam hai naa.
Ishita- yes but rahul is sick and
Raman- why u r calling him rahul.he is ur boss call him sir,waise bhi woh koi Buddha hoga naa.
Ishita- no rahul is too handsome,saari ladkiyan marti hai uss par.and I call him rahul coz he told me to call him like that.now drop me home naa Raman,please.she said pleading only to irritate Raman more.
He made a face and drop her home.he went his home silently and lay down on the bed.
Raman- Raman u r thinking wrong,ishi loves u only.shagun and ashok can misunderstand ishi's feelings for u but how can u,u know her from ages.if she is so dedicated to u and ur family how can she think of someone else.I think ishi loves me only but little confuse .may be rahul want to win her,so I have to be little more careful.mujhe ishi ko apne aur kareeb rakhna hoga taaki koi usse propose naa kar de.Raman u have to speed up ,u have to make ur ishi realise that she loves u only and for that I have to shower all my love on her.this jealousy is not going well and I can't hurt her if she loves me,so from now I will change my strategy and will try to make her realise that she loves me only.then I will propose her in a grand way.he thought to himself and sleep excitedly waiting for the new dawn.
Next morning Raman got up and get ready only to see shagun ready to buy their engagement rings and her bridal outfit.
Raman- what's this shagun.
Shagun- I don't wanna go but just trying to be normal like a bride and yes we have to make ishita jealous naa.
Raman was about to tell her that he is changing his strategy to make her realise but stop thinking she may again say something against ishita and he may get demotivated.so he keep mum and said- OK u get ready ,I am coming in an hour.saying so he went out of the room leaving a smirking shagun behind .who was thinking that she is going to win but little she know that very soon her world is going to change upside down.
Raman reached ishita's house only to see amma making idlis.he went to amma and hugged her from back and said - good morning amma.
Amma was angry with him but can't be rude to him as she always love him as her son.so she smiled and said- good morning kanna. Subah subah kaise.
Raman- kyun main apni amma ke haath ki idli khaane nahi aa sakta.
Amma- ofcourse u can come kanna.settle down I am serving u hot steaming idlis in a minute.
Raman- but where is my motu madrasan.
Amma smiled and said- she is in her room.may be sleeping.
Raman- sleeping,itni late.uski tabiyat thik hai naa,she never sleep this late.
Amma was amazed seeing how he remember everything about ishita.
Amma- no actually she worked till late last night.
Raman- yes amma,I remember that presentation. OK let me go and wake my princess.he said making amma smiled.she simply nodded.
Raman went into her room and saw her sleeping in between many files keeping her head on her laptop sitting on the chair itself.
Raman shake his head and said- something never changes.he said and went to her lift her head and close the laptop and found it too warm.
Raman- buddhu ishi,aise laptop pe koi sota hai.saying so he was closing the laptop only to see their pics as her screensaver.
He smiles and close it.then he picked her in his arms and took her to the bed.take out her glasses and make her sleep covering her properly with the duvet.she was sleeping with a contented smile.Raman smiled and planted a feathery kiss on her forehead .and then went to her table and start arranging it when her phone rang.Raman boiled in anger seeing rahul's name and picked the phone .
Raman- hello.
Rahul- who's this,I wanna talk to ishita.
Raman- she is sleeping .bechari thak gayi kaam karte karte.kitna kaam karwate ho usse.
Rahul- r u raman.
Raman was amazed at his question.
Raman- yes how do u know .
Rahul- ishi was right,u r so caring towards her.
Raman boiled in anger hearing ishi from him and said- for ur kind information, she is only my ishi.tumhari ishi nahi hai,she is ishita for u.and she is sleeping ,tell me what u want to talk I will convey.
Rahul smiled at his possesiveness and said- why she is sleeping now.hume meeting mein jaana hai.
Raman- she is tired,woh nahi jayegi.waise bhi she has to go with me to buy engagement rings,so woh nahi aayegi.
Rahul- and who r u to decide this.
Raman- I am Raman,her Raman.toh main uske behalf pe decide kar sakta hoon.she wil not come,that's it.he said and hung the call.
Raman- bada aaya meri ishi ko ishi kehne wala.woh sirf meri ishi hai.Raman ki.
Rahul- so Mr raman Kumar bhalla is getting married to someone else but still think himself as ishita.that's interesting, lagta hai iss Raman Kumar bhalla ko thoda jala kar kala karna padega toh make him confess. Ishita ,ur friend to going to make ur best friend confess that he loves u.so be ready to become Mrs ishita Raman Kumar bhalla soon.he said and smiled sheepishly making a plan to make Raman jealous.
