This is a random story which is not all related to YHM. I just used the character's name.
I was watching a movie the story of the movie is heroin is asked to leave her family for the love of the hero by hero mothers and heroin willingly sacrifices her family for hero sake. Hero's mother punishes her for accepting him but with lot of patience she wins her in-laws affection and finally joins with her family. Here the hero does nothing to stop his mother from hurting her but just take care of her after the fact.
While watching this movie one thing stuck to me why do always women have to choose so I am going to rewrite the scene where the hero mother asks her to choose between the families by what I am going to write the movie would be finished even before it started so I won't curse the poor director by this is how I would like the scene to be enacted.

Everybody was seated in the living room of the Bhalla house. The parents were shocked to hear the confession of their kids that they love each other.
Bhallaji was shocked but one look at Ishita made him realize what made his son fall for her and he immediately accepted her as his DIL. Iyer looked at Raman and realized that Ishita fell for his good character and was happy that he got a good SIL. Madhavi initially could not accept Raman because he was a Punjabi and she wanted a nice Tamil boy for Ishita but one look at Ishita/Raman love filled face for each other made her happily change her decision and accept Raman as her SIL
Toshjii was not happy with a madrasi being her bahu so she wanted to break the relationship. She was thinking how to go about it when she noticed the bond Ishita shares with her parents and smiled to herself saying see now how I break this relationship without making myself bad at my son eyes.
She looks at her hubby to see his reaction to this news and sees that he has already accepted Ishita before he could say anything. Toshjii says to Ishita I will only accept this relationship if you prove your love to my son. Ishita says to her okay aunty let me know what I should do and I will do it. Toshjii says to her if you love my son you have to break all your ties with your family. You will be only our DIL. You should not speak to your family, or go to your family function or think about them. If you accept these conditions then I don't have any problem in accepting you as my DIL otherwise you can stay as a daughter to your parents.
Everyone are shocked to hear Toshjii condition. Bhallaji says to her what happened Tohsjii why are placing this unreasonable condition. Toshjii says to him I don't care I only want my son happiness and I want to see how much she loves him. Raman is going to say something when Ishita stops him with her hand.
Toshjii is very happy thinking that Ishita won't accept the match. Ishita asks Raman would you prove your love to me by leaving your family when Raman was about to answer she takes two papers and gives him one and after an intense eye lock says to him write your answer in this and gives it to him. Toshjii complains see now itself she is trying to separate Raman from us. After their intense eye lock each of them wrote something on the paper and folded it. They exchanged the paper but never opened it. Ishita says to her aunty I need an hour to think about it. Toshjii says fine. Ishita says to Raman you can open the paper after I give your mother answer and walks out of the house. Raman is thinking what is she going to do? The Iyers are feeling very uncomfortable and decides to leave but Raman and Bhalla stops them and makes them comfortable in their house with their chit-chat assuring them that they will make Toshjii realize her mistake.
Ishita comes back after an hour with Simran and Dhayia. Both Raman and Bhalla get up from their seats and get blessing from the couple. Raman introduces them as his grandparents to the Iyers. Toshjii seeing her parents with Ishita gets confused. Ishita says to her aunty I am ready to give you my answer. I always follow the footsteps of my elders if you love uncle then you break all your ties with your family and I will gladly follow in your footsteps. Toshjii is shocked by this new development she never thought Ishita would find a third way to solve her problem. Toshjii parents are shocked to hear this.
Toshjii says to Ishita what nonsense is this they are my parents how I can break ties with them. Ishita asks then don't you love uncle? Toshjii says that relationship is different than the one I share with my parents so how can breaking my ties with my parents prove that I am in love with Bhallaji. Ishita smiles and says to her same way how does it prove my love to Raman if I break my ties with my parents. Toshjii is caught in her own web.
Simran comes near Toshjii and asks what the matter why are you placing unnecessary condition Toshjii says to her I wanted a Punjabi kudi for my son how I am going to face society if he gets married to a Tamil girl. Her mom laughs at her and says in which world are you living? Look at your children happiness and don't think about the society. Finally Toshjii accepts Ishita.
IshRa then opens the chit and what they found their made them pleasantly surprised as both of them wrote our family with all the Bhalla and Iyers name included on it.
They smiled at each other to sensing their new beginning.
