DT and KP are integral to YHM, not Anita. This has clearly been reflected in the fall of trp since Anita and the surrogacy track have been aired.

If Anita leaves the show there would not be any major issues. If either DT or KP were to leave you would struggle to continue with the show. It is these two actors who are managing to pull audiences back.

Anita may be integral to you, but not to 95% of YHM audience.

Dear in that case no need for toshi, mihika mihir ashok etc the should only kp and dt right? Atleast in that manju kapur anita was one of the central characters

Can't fans of Shagun & IshRa agree on one thing - the storyline needed to be protested.

It doesn't matter that Shagun is in the show or not, but give her a dignified story. As an AH fan, would one not be upset at the pathetic treatment of her character?

Similarly as an IshRa fan, is one not the most frustrated that they not not being used well?

If YHM was better written & there was a tighter script with equality amongst the entire cast like before, do you think such severe reactions would be elicited from all sides? It doesn't matter on the screen time of actors - it matters what they do while on screen & right now it's incredibly subpar BS.

Yes the YHM now is very different from 11 PM - but as fans of the show, characters, or actors...do you not want to see better for the story, actors, & us?

I said Anita is not intergal to YHM, this is a fact. It is also a fact that if toshi, mihir, mihika died or left the series the show would continue with little problem. The integral characters are Ishra not Shagun or Anita.

You may not like what I have to say, but it is a fact. Without shagun the show would still go on with little affect on trp but that cant be said for Ishita or Raman. Therefore they are integral.

YHM is losely based on the original novel, so Shagun being central in that, is a moot point.

My issue was always the story. I am least concerned with what actor plays what role. The surrogacy track was a shambles and handled very poorly. A lot of people thought the track was there to glorify Shagun and butcher Raman's character even further to accomodate this feat. To an extent that was correct. I was not part of any protest but I did air my opinion of the track here.
