Divyanka Tripathi's Yeh Hain Mohabbatein is one of the most loved shows on television. The drama is aired in Sri Lanka as Me Adarayai. A few days back, a Sri Lankan food and beverage brand recently posted its TVC featuring Divyanka on its social networking page. The TVC features the actress as a healthy and active daughter-in-law and a mother who stressed on the need for health products for women to strengthen their bones. Incidentally, the product was earlier endorsed by Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara.

Sri Lankan women, most of them have responded favourably to her being a part of the TVC while others have said that why some of Sri Lankan nationality was not chosen. Everyone there seems to identify her as Ishita Iyer from the show and are gaga over her beauty. Divyanka Tripathi spoke exclusively to Bollywoodlife about the shoot. "I was in Sri Lanka for three days. I am overwhelmed by the reception I got there - right from the airport to shops, everyone identified me as Dr Ishita. As an artiste, I can't ask for more. I am very touched that people love Yeh Hain Mohabbatein so much." She spent a lot of time at Odel and Independence Square malls shopping. "I bought a lot of green teas, spices especially cinnamon, Sri Lankan apparel, handicrafts, etc. I also went to a handloom shop." The actress describes Colombo as a clean and green city. "I am planning a personal trip in near future. I want to see the sight-seeing spots, especially those related to the Ramayan like Ashok Vatika and Temple of Ravan."
