Hey guys..
It's been so long that YHM made me want to write something..
So, sorry that it turned out so long, I had to vent out all the pent up frustrations..
Ishita Raman Bhalla thank you for asking all the right questions..
It doesn't absolve anyone of anything ..neither Raman nor the Cvs..But When I have almost given up on hope it came as a wonderful surprise.. This conversation is the need of the hour and its a solace for all of us who have been protesting and venting on the track..
Did Raman do the right thing, No... Is it fair to Ishita,Not even a bit..
Everything was dumped on her on the last minute that she didn't have any choice but to accept Shagun & Surrogacy..And all this is done by the one person in the name of love, whom she trusted above all.
Everything she asked..from making her a wife whose only need is to put her thumb print to making her experience the stigma of being "bhaanj" by the love of her life... was bang on..
And Raman didn't have a proper answer for anything..but all I could see is the love he had for her, which frankly I failed to see in the last episodes..
Divan nailed the scene and how..Thank You cvs for giving the actors something worthwhile that they woke up from stupor of the past days and made us feel all the pain..
For all the effort the Cvs put in to make Shagun look bechari..Not even for a moment they convinced me..Neither through script, nor dialogues or action..For most of the time Shagun was fluctuating between mild annoyance and extreme hyperness, not really showing us what is going on in her head, if at all anything is going on in the first place..
The sad thing is all this could be achieved without butchering Raman in the first place..atleast by not making him accept Shagun as surrogate mother with open arms and being at her beck & call all the time, at the cost of hurting his wife for whom he was doing all this..
So cvs if you can make us forget all these things then we are willing to sign up for the ride..
I don't see how they are going to fit the ghost track here, but if it is just the hallucinations and PTSD and if it is handled without the OTT flair that the makers have attached themselves with these days then it should be interesting..
But I don't have any hope left even after all the harping of starplus. So it is One episode(or rather one WU) at a time..
