Thanks to all of you for appreciating the story. I wrote this one shot because it frustrates me that a channel like star plus which is promoting "Nayee Soch" is showing utter disrespect for a woman in the show.
It was meant to be an outlet for my anger as a woman on behalf of all women who are treated like a possession and not as human beings with their personal choices and decisions. Every human being has the right to live their life exactly the way they want. It should not be someone else's decision even if they get married.
As part of a married couple, a woman changes her name, her home; but she should not change her identity, her rights.
This is not the first time star plus treated an important part of life like children in this kind of insensitive and disrespectful manner.
In Diya and Bati Hum, they showed a couple giving up one of their twin children because a 8 year old little girl demanded a baby. I mean what the eff? Are you morons?
Now they are showing that Ruhi wants a baby (I don't know what prompted her to do so considering how sensitive she was to Ishita's inability to have children) so the parents go nuts to have kids.
Not only that, the father goes one step ahead. Instead of making sure that his wife who recently miscarried is happy and taken care off, he runs off to get a baby out of surrogacy through his ex-wife who by the way called his current wife a nanny many times thinking his current wife will call him hero because he gifted her a baby tied with a red bow.
Star Plus, do you have any respect for human beings? Do you not get that babies are not puppies to be gifted or given away? They are human beings who grow up and become real people. You don't do charity donation with them. Good Lord!!!
Anyways, thanks anyway for reading this. I never meant to write more than what I already wrote as I have stopped watching the show. Thank you.
