Shagun Values Gifts.
Ofcourse she values materialistic things and not humans. Gifts are materialistic anyway and she gave him the biggest gift of his life by sleeping with another man.

U r absolutely right,shagun values gifts. shagun is materialistic, so it's only natural, she has very gift that raman and Ashok had given her.

I agree, Ishita doesn't care about his gifts. In fact she said in his face that she didn't need his gifts- all she needed was a little bit respect and a little bit trust. But Raman can't afford those things obviously!

Ok so first the disclaimer i know its not useful to defend ishita here and i dnt want to and i still dont know y i m writing in this thread so please bare with me!!
Yes shagun has kept all raman's gift and adorns them and makes him realise everytime that she values them may be for her own selfish reasons but still she does!!
Ishita if i remember correctly has given away her gifts 3 times till now first the dress, earrings and tablet out of that tablet can be excluded as she gifted it to adi as shagun hide his gift on xmas and gifting him at that point was essential to cement father son relatioinship so that we shld really exclude i will not justify her for giving away other two gifts but ishita has always valued his gestures more she has kept all his sorry cards right from the begining when raman drew himself when she was not even in love till the latest lohri sorry card safely with her also his love letter when he gifted her locket and many other gifts as rightly pointed out by someone in this thread!! can u say with certainty that shagun will have such memories preseved if u can then i have no defence here because i personally think she has not preserved things which are priceless as she is materialistic so she preserved all things like sarees, dresses amd earrings with her but may not have this small non materialistic things preserved as sarees and dressed will be worn out by time but the things which ishita preserved of raman are eternal!!

Of course shagun will always value gifts more as she is one money minded woman for whom luxuries are more important than anything else NOT even her marriage... Not her kids... Not Raman's love which he had for her because for shagun its all about her comfort after all she is one self centered person who don't even care about her own children she leaved them to die in fire during earthquake why because for her..her own life is more important and of course fire could have spoiled her face... so she values all things which gives her pleasure didn't she was mistress of Ashok for 6..7 long years and then poor abla naari shagun got kicked out by Ashok in garbage... And now she has become positive out of blue and doing social services..oops ishita service providing herself for surrogacy .. she really happy to have ishu's kid in her womb while she never gave any happiness to her own children... wow what a great woman... for shagun luxuries...gifts are more valuable and important than any persons emotions... Yeah i remember now. @Dmug just pointed it out. But does it matter?? She values RAMAN. Even if Raman had nothing Ishita would still be with him. And we all know what Shagun did just because Raman couldn't afford her expensive tantrums.
