The day finally came few days later and raman was fully planned to both expose and acknowledge his madrasan this night when he went back late. In the office he told mihir-" aaj main ghar decided time se thoda jaldi jaunga but agar teri baat ghar par kisi se bhi hoti hai toh tu kisi ko yeh nahi batayega , khaas taur par apni bhabhi ko samjha bhabhi ka chamcha?"

Mihir was confused and asked- " par kyun bhai, kuch special?"

Raman just smiled and said, " special toh hai beta aaj teri bhabhi ko batana hai ki.."

Mihir got excited and said-" that u love her?"

Raman-" nahi paagal pehle poori baat sun liya kar, yeh batana hai ki I am thankful to her ki who meri life mein aayi aur Mujhe sambhala , mera itna khayal rakha and I have to especially thank her for one thing..."

Mihir -" kya bhai?"

Raman- "that she remains awake for me." He said wid a smile and wink and left to complete his work while mihir just said to himself-" I hope sab theek ho , jitna bhai soch rahe hain uss se bhi achche, they both deserve all happiness of the world."

Finally at night the time came for raman to put his plan into action, he deliberately parked his car far away so that ishita cud not hear the sound of his car and he silently sneaked in the house wid his key and noticed that the kitchen was empty so ishita was not there at the moment. He moved to a corner which was nt visible in darkness and stood silently waiting for ishita to come so as to catch her red handed.

As expected after abt 5 minutes , ishita came to kitchen, switched the microwave to 1 minute and was abt to go back to her room but she was pulled back and landed in her husband's strong arms , her head hitting his chest as he held her wrist firmly. She was shocked and said-" raman aap aa gaye? Kab aaye?"

Raman said-" abhi kuch der pehle , kyun? Tum jaag rahi ho ab tak?"

Ishita did not want her plan to be exposed so she tried to frisk away the topic saying-" who main paani peene aayi thi but I did nt hear u cmng , anyways Mujhe neend aa rahi hai so let me go.."

Raman did not loosen his hold even a bit and just blatantly said-" khaana garam hai kya ishita?"

Ishita was flushed and short for words and did not knew what to say next so she started panicking-" khana? Mujhe nahi .. I mean...haan garam hai par maine..."

She cud not complete as raman said-" toh laga do na yaar plz.. bohot bhook lagi hai."

She cud not refuse and she went to kitchen and brought out food and reluctantly laying it on table was moving back when raman held her hand again and said-"ruko na jab tum itni late tak jagi ho, khana bhi garam kiya hai toh ab mere saath baithke kha bhi lo na? aakhir tum bhi human ho khana toh tumhe bhi chahiye na, uske bina kaise rahogi?" and he grinned at her confusingly which confused ishita even more. She did not knew what to do and tried to negate everything saying-" maine kuch nahi kiya hai maine kaha na main paani peene aayi thi toh yeh sab kahan se beech mein aa gaya, main..."

Raman did not let her complete and just faltly said-" ishita I know everything, ruhi ne sab bataya so stop evading and just sit and eat , I request plzz."

Ishita knew she was exposed and since she was starving she sat down and then realized she had no plate but raman just moved his plate in between and said-" iss mein se kha lo , we can share , mujh mein deadly fungus ya bacteria nahi hain, I promise so plzz."

Ishita did not have the heart to refuse and they started eating when raman asked-" tum itne din se bina khana khaye so jaati thi? Are u mad? Are u out of ur mind? Meri mistake ki wajah se u used to sleep empty stomach almost everyday ishita, why???" his face showed concern and anger on himself but ishita kept eating and bluntly said-" kisne kaha main aapki wajah se bhooki rehti thi? Jo kuch mila pichle kuch dinon mein mera pet bhar gaya tha uss se , bhook nahi hoti thi so aa piss galatfehmi mein jeena band karo ki main aapki wajah se koi sacrifice karti thi."

Raman knew she referring to that night and was still hurt becoz of that incident and it pained him even more that he had done that to the lady who cared the most for him. The rest of the dinner went in silence and when they were finished raman suddenly asked -" ishita... mere saath coffee peeogi ek cup?"

Ishita was surprised -" coffee? Abhi raman?"

Raman-" haan plz mera mann hai but I dnt want to have it alone , plz mera saath de do , tum madrasiyon mein toh khane ke baad peete hain na who filter coffee so plzz."

Ishita knew he was looking for a chance to talk abt that night's incident and although she did not want to talk abt it at all , she did not have the heart 2 refuse raman and so she meekly but willingly said-" ok fine , aap wahan baitho main lekar aati hun."

Raman just said-" thank u ishita, thanks a lot."

After abt 10 minutes ishita silently approached raman who was sitting in the balcony facing the garden opposite their house and gave him his coffee and settled down beside him wid her coffee in hand. Moments of silence passed by they both sat their sipping their coffees not knowing how to start the conversation. After a while suddenly realizing that even his coffee wud get over soon, raman finally spoke up -" ishita..."

His one word was enough for ishita to look towards him in his eyes and show him how hurt she was and that yess she did need some explanations this time for sure. Raman was pained for sure but gathering all this might , he said-" ishita look, I know that night, I have behaved like a complete idiot, I have behaved like a moron ishita and I know I dnt deserve to be forgiven for whatever I did that day . all I want is that once , just for once u listen to what all I have to say and then u are free to never ever forgive me in ur life I will accept , but plz sun lo ek baar meri baat ..."

Ishita was surprised but remained quiet which gave raman some confidence to continue-" uss din maine jo ghar par kiya jo bhi kuch kaha main use justify nahi karunga but haan yeh zaroor batana chahunga ki mere uss behavior ki wajah kya thi. Uss din subah se office mein itna kaam tha u won't believe, ashok ne phir se apni cheap tricks khelein aur jab tak main uss se nipat paya shagun adi ko lekar office mein aa gayi aur naya drama karne lagi , I was soo damn pissed off yaar . sab kuch karne ke baad bhi adi mujhse rudely baat karke chala gaya , I was broken due to that too. Upar se phir romi ke college si uski shikayat karne ke liye phone aaya and they took an hour of mine yaar and all I cud was say yes and sorry that's it. Toh jab main ghar aaya I was already at the end of my patience and tolerance level and papa calling me and scolding me for coming late was the last thing which I expected at that moment. And what followed was another of my stupidity ke bina soche samjhe, bina kuch dekhe I just blabbered what came in my mouth and did not realize what I was doing till the time I saw u standing there and I just understood I had done a grave blunder. I was so guilty I cud nt even talk to u.."

At this point ishita interrupted him saying-" I can understand whatever u are saying aur uss din bhi raman Mujhe bura isliye nahi laga ki aapne hamare rishte ke bare mein who sab kaha kyunki main jaanti hun who sach hi tha par... what hurt me the most was that aapne ek minute mein yeh assume kar liya ki maine papaji se aapki shikayat ki hogi?? Who bhi aapke late aane ke liye?? Aapko lagta hai main aisi hun? Maine aaj tak kuch aisa kiya hai kya kabhi? Bass issi wajah se Mujhe bura laga .."

Raman knew she was right, if he wud have been at her place , he wud have felt the same and he started breaking down now saying words in broken sentences-" actually ishita galti tumhari nahi hai, galti poori tarah meri bhi nahi hai , galti unn 6 saalon ki hai jo maine akele raha hun, jisne Mujhe itna kadwa, itna patthar dil , itna buzdil bana diya. I had forgotten ki ghar par koi hai so meri care karta hai , mera wait karta hai kyunki inn 6 saalon mein kisine aisa kabhi nahi kiya, maine maa ko bhi mana kar diya tha . I had shut myself out completely ishita and Mujhe aadat hi nahi rahi kisike pyaar, care ya concern ki isliye main keh raha hun galti meri bhi nahi inn 6 saalon ki hai.. I have become a monster ishita , I have become a jerk... main insaan kehlane ke layak bhi hun..."

Ishita was stunned seeing raman blabbering like this, completely broken and sooo vulnerable and she did what came to her at the spur of the moment, she pulled raman into a bone crushing hug, his head being stuck to her chest and held her tight and close. She just started calming him down saying-" raman.. raman plzz aap shush raman chup , ro mat its nt good, shush raman aisa kuch nahi hai chup chup chup shh shh for god sake calm down , shush bas ab chup bas bas chup bikul.."

the fact was that she herself was breaking down now seeing raman in such a terrible state and she started feeling guilty of her beahviour towards raman in past days and when raman calmed down , she started speaking-" raman I am sorry yaar meri bhi galti hai shayad , main har baar gussakarti thi, chillati thi aur itna bolti thi par iss baar pata nahi maine kyun nahi bola , Mujhe baat karni chahiye thi aapse. Uss se main choti toh nahi hoti na but I did'nt just did not kyuki mera ego itna bada ho gaya. Life mein pehli baar mera ego beech mein aa hi gaya but u know what galti shayad meri bhi nahi hai , unn saare saalon ki hai jab main toot gayi thi , kisi insaan ke dhokhe ne Mujhe tod diya tha , mera ego tod diya tha. jis se pyaar kiya uss ne saalon baad chod diya and I cud nt handle it . aakhir insaan hun na main bhi, I am also allowed to feel and express hai na?? but did nt get a chance what to do..sometimes I wonder if I have lost the ishita I was ...? Have i?? maine.."

now it was raman's turn to be surprised but he was stupefied indeed, he had never seen this strong woman , his jkr being soo weak and gullible and not knowing how to stop her babbling , he pulled her close and kissed her lips wid his passionately as if to shut her mouth literally.

Raman was hesitant for sure but he just did it as he saw no other option left. Ishita was surprised at first but after seconds , she also responded in her own meek way. The kiss was not passionate or wild but soothing, gentle and full of love. It was certainly long and calming and for sure this was a start of something new and special.

After minutes when they were out of breaths, they parted and then awkwardness spread all over till raman gained himself back and said-" wow it was good nahi?"

Ishita was shocked at his behavior and said-" huh? What?"

"Whatever happened was gr8 nahi? Dnt deny u also enjoyed it nahi?"raman was coming back to his raavan kumar and romantic kumar mode at same time and ishita cud nt help but blush and meekly said-" haan tha toh."

Raman then said-" ishita... we are all good na now abt that incident. I am sorry once again yaar."

Ishita-" raman are u like crazy? After all this u are asking me we are good or not?? Ofcourse we are."

Raman decided to get playful and said-" hmm u are right. Waise after all what? Kiss bare mein baat kar rahi thi tum? Kya hua abhi? I can't remember? Action replay kar sakti ho plzz."

Ishita blushed deeper and said-" shut up , good if u forgot, its nt happening again for sure."

Raman came closer and said-" it will happen again but when is the question. By the way yeh coffee thandi ho gayi hai , ek aur milegi?"

Ishita knew he was just playing wid her and said-" nahi ab kuch nahi milega abhi , so jaakar its late." And as she got up to leave, raman held her wrist, stood in front of her and said-" milega toh sahi , jo main chahun le sakta hun u know..."

Ishita blushed and said challenging him-"no u cannot.."

Raman huskily said-" I can.. aur ab main dikhata hun ki kaise." And saying that he picked ishita up and carried her in his arms to their room. Ishita was nervous as to what was coming next and said-" raman chodo Mujhe neeche utaro , kisi ne dekh liya hota toh?"

" toh kya , biwi ho meri, main pati hun yaar aur itna toh Mujhe haq hai ishita.. right?" raman said.

Ishita blushed shade of crimson and said-" hmm hai. And settled down on her side saying-" thank u raman."

Raman also settled down on his side and said-" thank u kisliye?"

Ishita-" yeh sab clear karne ke liye I was also stressed due to this but did nt step forward to clear it."

Raman held her hand and said-" its ok , yeh meri duty thi ishita kyunki galti meri thi. Now sleep down, good night."

Ishita-" good night raman." And they lied down to sleep when raman turned around and said-" thank u ishita."

Ishita-" kyun?"

Raman-" for coming into my life and making it worth living ishita." And he smiled and pecked her on her forehead. Ishita said-" gladly my hubby dear, now sleep nahin toh subah time par nahin uthoge aur phir raavan kumar chalu."

Raman chuckled and said-" who toh hai.. and I know u love raavan kumar the most hai na?"

Ishita smiled and said -" yes I do. And I am glad too for u cmng into my life and making it smile."

Raman-" u r most welcome wifey dearest , anytime.

And off they went to sleep dreaming of bright, rosy future wid each other and their ruhi , obviously not without obstacles and hindrances but then they were a part of anyone's life, isn't it??
