Here goes Part 8

Preparation for godh barai was going in full swing. Coincidentally Godh barai and Raman's birthday was on same day.In the morning there was Godh barai occasion and in evening there was a small party for Raman birthday to avoid any extra exertion to Ishita.

Day before Godh bharai and Raman's Birthday

Raman was in Adi and Ruhi room. Adi and Ruhi were doing their homework while Raman was doing his office work. They were so busy in there talk that they didnt notice Ishita walking in.

Ishita with two hangers in her hand- Ap log yahan kya kar rahe hoon

( What are to you all doing here)

Raman spoke first - Kuch nahi. Office work.

(Nothing. Office work)

Before Ishita could say anything
Adi and Ruhi excused them and left to play with Rohit.

Ishita - Raman Apki help chahiye

(Raman I need your help)

Raman - Han bolo ..Still not looking at her .Busy in his laptop

Ishita - Raman main kal godh barai mein kaunsi saree pehnu.

( Which saree should I wear for Godh Barai .. Blue or Green)
Green ya blue and showed him both sarees

Raman was still doing his work and did not pay attention to her.

Ishita - asked again - Raman batayi na

Raman - Hmm kya kaha

Ishita - Raman aap meri baat nahi sun rahe the . Ek toh main apse puchne aayi taki main aapki Fav. saree pehnu aapke birthday par. Aur aap . Apko pata hai na main room aane mein hi tak jati hoon . Aur aap kaise ho

(Raman you were not listening to me. I wanted to wear your favorite saree on your birthday. You know very well that now a days I get tired so easily. I came here just to ask your opinion. And you are not even listening to me)

Ishita left

Raman - Yar yeh Jhansi ki rani ko toh gussa aa gaya .Ab teri khair nahi.

( Jhansi ki rani is angry on you. You are dead now)

In the night (Ishra bedroom) Ishita was not talking to Raman. During whole dinner she was ignoring him. He tried talking to her but she was not paying attention to him.

Raman - Ishita yar Sorry Main thoda busy tha.

( Ishita sorry yar I was busy)

Ishita- Raman Theek hai na . Main kahan ap ko pareshan kar rahi hoon. Ap apna kaam kijiye

( Fine raman Do your work. I am not disturbing you anymore)

Raman- Toh phir karo na. Mujhe itni shanty ki adaat nahi hai

( Then Disturb me. I am not use to this mental calmness)

Ishita- Kya kahan apne. main apko shanty nahi deti. Fine aj ke baad apko shanty hi milegi. GUd night MR raman Kumar Bhalla. With that Sh elide on her side of bed.

( What did you say. Mental calmness. From now on. You will get that only. Good night MR Raman kumar Bhalla)

Raman- Yar yeh toh aur bura maan gayi.

He went near her adjusted 2 pillows around her and kissed her forehead

Raman- tumhe kisne kahan ki mujhe shanti chahiye. Mujhe toh tab acha lagta hai jab tum pura din barbar karti hoon. Itna bolti ho ki mera man karta ki tumhe kiss karke tumhara muh band kar doon. Har roz nayi aur ajeeb cheezu karti hoo. Tumhari midnight wali craving, Tumhare baby steps, tumhare lectures, Tumhari sab faltu bate mujhe achi lagti hai. Kyuki yeh sirf duniya k ek defective piece main hai jo sirf aur sirf mera hai.

( Who told you I want this mental peace. I feel good when keep blabbering whole day. You talk so much that I feel like shutting your mouth by kissing you. Your demands for unusual things, your midnight craving, Your baby steps, Your lectures, Your useless talking. All that gives me peace. Because this all is present in one defective piece which mine only mine.

Ishita finally smiled and kept her hand on his cheeks- Aur yeh defective piece bhi mera hai. Do imperfect log jo ek dusre ke liye perfect hai. Jodi achi hai

At that time baby kicked.

Ishita- See! even baby agree karta hai

Both smiled together. They slept cuddling to each other.

Midnight

Ishita woke up . It was 11:55.

Ishita- Only 5 mins left. Sab log kahan reh gaye.

Next moment there was a knock on the door. She opened the door. Everyone entered there room.

All together- HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Raman- opened his eyes and saw everyone singing birthday song for him. He smiled and ruhi jumped on his lap, hugged and kissed him.

Ruhi- Happy birthday papa. Kaisa laga surprise. Hum log sab jag rahe the apko wish karne ke liye.

Raman- kissed her hairs- Bahut acha beta. Thank you all

Soon everyone gifted him something and after small cake cutting ceremony in night everyone retired to their room.

Raman closed the door and walked toward Ishita

Raman- Madam Chalo give me my gift.

Ishita (sad)- Sorry Raman apse naraaz thi na . Toh ape liye gift lana hi bhool gayi. She had tears in her eyes.

( Sorry Raman I was angry on you . So forgot to buy one)

Raman- Hey Ishita1 Main toh mazaak kar raha tha. Acha hai main apni Pasand ka gift le sakuga.

(Hey I was kidding. Its actually good. Now I can ask for a gift of my choice)

Ishita- Kya chahiye apko. Hum dono subah hi jayege. Boliye.

( What do you want. We will go tomorrow morning. Say )

Raman- Mujhe jo chahiye uske liye bahar jane ki jarurat nahi hai. and next moment he placed his lips on hers and kissed her.

( We don't need to go out for my gift)

With the need of oxygen they broke.

Ishita- Sorry raman. Main apke gift ka bhool gayi.

( sorry raman I completely forgot)

Raman- Ishita tum mujhe gift pehle hi de chuki ho

( Ishita you already given me my gift)

Ishita (confuse)- Kaunsa gift. He pointed towards her tummy.

( what gift)

Raman- Humara Baby. And kissed her stomach Baby ab jaldi se bahar aa jao. Papa kab se apka wait kar rahe hai.

( Our baby! Baby please come out soon. Your papa is eagerly waiting for you)

Baby kicked

Ishita- Raman he kicked- woh apki bate sun raha hai. Aur apko birthday bhi wish kaar arha hai.

(He is listening to your talk and also wishing you Happy birthday)

Raman smiled and replied back- thank you baby. Papa ko gift dedo unke birthday ka jaldi se unke haaton main aake.

( Thank you Baby. Papa wants to hold you in his arms soon.)

They continued talking. And soon slept embracing each other.

In the morning . Everyone in the Bhalla house was running here and there. They wanted to make this day perfect for Ishita. They were celebrating two occasions today. Ishita godh bharai and Raman birthday

Raman entered their room was mesmerized seeing Ishita. Ishita was draped in blue saree with matching jewellery which he selected for her. She was looking divine. He saw his lady love standing in front of mirror adjusting her saree pleats. She was not able to adjust them because of her big tummy. She was calling simmi continuously for help without looking at the door.
He walked towards her and bends down to adjust her pleats.

Ishita - Raman aap kab aaye. Mera dhyaan nahi tha.

Raman stood up- Tumhara aj kal mujh par dhyaan hota kab hai.

Ishita - kuch bhi. Chaliye Sab neeche wait kar rahe honge.

Raman- Arre ek min Kuch kami hai

Ishita- turned towards mirror. Kami kya

Raman- Yeh Ishita adhoori hai. Next moment he filled her hair partition with vermillion. Lo go gayi Meri Ishita puri.

They walked together for ceremony. Soon it began and everyone blessed her. Raman was happy seeing her like that. Her face was glowing and throughout ceremony their little angel Ruhi was beside her, helping and taking care of her Ishima.

After ceremony everyone went for lunch.

Toshi- Tu Ishita ko upar le ja. Woh thoda aaram kar legi. Thak gayi hogi . Main tum dono ka lunch upar hi bhejti hoon.

Raman- Haan maa

Raman helped her stand and they were walking towards their room. Soon he felt Ishita grip on him tightened.

Ishita- AAH ouch Raman

Raman- Ishita kya hua

Ishita- breathing heavily- Raman lagta hai apki wish aj hi puri hogi. Baby ne apki baat sunli. Ahh.. Raman. Ahh My water broke
