Gan, I too did not connect to the episode today and Shagun acting all depressed with the lights off! Gosh, I dont know why from consummation or evn before all r just talking of baby when they know Ishita cant conceive, it is just so much pressure. In fact I could understand Raman today when he said we r in love, then why are we apart, dont you think of me( as in my needs?) that is how this track should have been with honeymoon and all. Instead we have this doctor nonsense even before consummation and the whole world acting so hopeful! Plus I cant understand now how all else is ok but the uterus is not? I am ok for St being JB and solving the surrogacy kaand but I simply cant digest her helping out Ishra with a baby😡. Somehow all signs indicate that hence it feels sad to even wath the show now. Like Maya mentioned I too fear the day is drawing near when I will quit YHM, such a sad state of affairs...😭

The whole bit about her sitting in the parking lot avoiding him was what I couldnt gel with. And yes what you said about Raman is true too...that he could have followed her when he felt that something is bothering her..but I feel that he tought she's at the Iyer house having a heart to heart with Mihika ..hence he didnt call either...just texted her. After the freezing shot today I felt that he'd go and break the news to her but from the pre-cap it looks like they are both going to know and avoid sharing to protect the other..and eventually we;ll have that scene where they both will probably fall apart together...but it could have been done today...but I guess the CVs are gonna milk the amazing acting ability of their leads as much as they can.

Surrogacy and Shagun..I still am not thinking about them and rather focusing on the Ishra story as it let me enjoy episodes like yesterdays...and not lose my cool and make another "dear Cvs" post...😆😆

I totally get why she was in the parking lot she was trying to prepare herself mentally to be strong so that when Raman breaks down hearing the news she is there to support him same goes to Raman he was preparing himself mentally to be strong for her when she breaks down each one of them was thinking about the other person pain. My only problem was that it was not executed properly instead of us marveling at how much they love each other and they are trying to protect each other we are thinking why are they hiding things from each other I guess that is the disconnect we all feel in this episode.

I know I should take your advice enjoy the episode as it comes and not focus on the impending doom relating Shagun alas what to do I am not able to forget it when watching the episode.

Me to want them to deal with the situation together. Can't the cv show them close and handling there issues all the time it's family...I want there moments. Also I want Ishita to carry the baby somehow n Raman taking care of her

Having said that I get why you couldn't connect wholly...I cannot place my finger but something was missing today...I liked the flow of events and all but I don't know somewhere there was a disconnect...

KP & DT were phenomenal once again...Ever since the haircut he is having an extra glow...Need to enjoy that while it lasts..😉

Anu written lovely as always and that part in @bold...just took my breath away...it's that soulful. After reading your and Anku's perspectives, I wish I had read that before my watch ..as probably I would have connected more when I watched it first.

But like I explained in response to someone in the post...I was going with trying to visualize myself in Ishita's shoes and thinking what I would have done ...and that's where my disconnect was...but what gives me hope is the fact that we know that we'll visit the scene where Ishra will eventually face their shattered dream together, cry over their broken aspirations and give each other the support they both will need as this was a dream of theirs..a hope of seeing the baby borne out of their love...a shared dream of fruition of their love...so shared heartbreak that they only can fathom the depth of...and together somehow they will pick up the shards of their broken dream and help each other through it...Hope the CVs give us an episode of that...It is needed.

sunita a lot of us will quit if Ishra baby is born in surrogacy. That's the end of YHM's original story officially for me.

The repeated baby talk I believe is just to create extra dramatic 'effect' you know ...otherwise we'd not get the falshbacks they showed today. Raman was just going overboard in thinking that this would happen just like that...and today he got that reality call, hence his guilt as he knows that he had raised Ishita's hopes in his excitement about baby talk too...and this news would break her apart...

Beautiful collages today Gan 👏 As they say, pictures speak a thousand words. You've captured the anguish so beautifully 👏

Coming to the review, today, I beg to differ a little. I'll come to the hows and whys, but need to first let out my take on the smaller issues of other couples.

Ishita-Romi: A poignant moment. Usually it is men who help the groom overcome nervousness, and they did try, but Ishita understood that for her mischievous BIL, it is not the physical aspect of this night which is daunting, but the emotional one. She knew he ran all his life from commitment and she encouraged him to overcome his fear and begin this new journey with his better half, who has seen enough bad days already. Ishita-Romi bonding was at a different level today. I wish you could capture the scene in another collage 😳

Romi-Sarika: The scene inside their bedroom touched my heart. It was a different feeling to see an irresponsible playboy commit to a lifetime of happiness for a single person, that too whom he himself had discarded in the past. Romi, as a character, has grown so much in the love department, that I felt respect for him for saying the things that he said to Sarika. Also loved the part where he asked her to stop him from doing any wrong, because he knows himself, he knows he is prone to committing blunders in his thoughtlessness and selfishness. In return, the girl who was scorned by him & rejected by his family, felt so overwhelmed that she had nothing but her support to give. Though I'm yet to forgive him for not apologizing to Ishita, Bala & Mihir, I liked the simple promises he made to his newly wedded wife.

Mihika-Abhishek: Small moments, but cute enough for them to let us think of another step in their relationship. The authority with which Mihika got upset with Abhishek, and the restlessness with which he has constantly pursuing her, to clear things out was adorable. They have their own bitter-sweet chemistry 😳

IshRa: What can I say about them! Their love was visible in each and every thing they did today. Whether the part where Raman wanted to come closer to his beautiful wife, or the part where she wanted to go away from him for the moment. Whether her falling apart in the corridor, or his waiting for her in the bedroom. Whether her roaming out in the night waiting for him to fall asleep, or his tears in finding out the truth. It screamed of a couple who is so in love with each other, that they simply cannot bear the thought of the other falling apart.

Which is precisely why I think Ishita ran away from him. Not to hide the truth from him, or to handle this situation on her own. But to prepare herself mentally, to be able to tell him that their dream is shattered, to be able to watch him slump down. She has been through the process once before, but back then, it was only her hopes that were crushed. This time, it was a dream they wove together, a hope they cherished together. She was more hurt for his pain than hers, which is why she apologized to him while he slept. She wants to share with him, to break down in his arms, but not before she steels herself to be able to see him break down.

Same goes for Raman. His anxiety, nervousness was palpable when he spoke to the nurse on phone. His excitement when the nurse said Ishita could get pregnant, his hesitation on the word 'par' (but), and finally his slumping down. His anguish was for her. He asked the nurse not to inform Ishita, because he cannot imagine how much this would pain her. Something that she had accepted long time ago, was again being thrown in her face, that too after her hopes had been increased, and for the life of him, he couldn't understand how would she be able to handle it because it surely seems like a cruel hand of fate. And so he wants to prepare himself, to tell her, to face her.

She is living in his anguish, and he, in her agony. That is the beauty of the love they share, the bond which runs so deep that they break apart just thinking about their better half breaking apart for a dream they chose to see together.

The credit, that I, as a viewer, could feel so much and connect with, goes to Divyanka and Karan. They make Ishita & Raman alive in every possible way, embodying these complex, layered characters to the ultimate level of truth 👏 👏
