I will not go into details about how any writer, author or anyone cared enough to pen down their thought struggles doing the same often spending hours of their free time stringing together words to form a tale that inspires us all.
And I will not tell you how much it annoys to find a talentless freak rip their work off. I will apologize for my crude language if i have to and I do honestly hope I am wrong.
Two days Aaminah, the author of Mirrors, messaged me on Wattpad if fear that her word had been plagiarized. And as a friend I vowed to help her out if it was indeed plagiarized, which it was.
Mirrors follows a heiress Ishita Iyer who at University meets Raman Bhalla who is the cashier at the university library. It basically focusses on the difference in their social standing and how they meet years later; the tables have turned on same social standing that once would never permit their relationship.
Raman is now a successful businessman and Ishita, now no longer an heiress, is on the run (or has away from home). In desperate need for a job, any job, Ishita signs up for an interview for a nanny - a nanny for Ruhi, Raman's daughter.
And those who have read the plot to Mirrors know the plot that follows without me narrating the whole thing. Please take a look at Daffodils and judge the plot for yourself. (The user has skipped the part where they meet in a library for the first time and instead has 'begun' with an excerpt taken from the time he hires her as a nanny.)
Aaminah left the forum due to lack of time and other personal commitments, I believe, her reasons I am not sure of but I do know that it is her SS that has been posted.
She had pulled off her works in fear of plagiarism. And the exact thing has occurred.
I honestly fail to understand why you would rip-off another persons' hard work.
It truly sickens me. It truly does. I do not have words to describe this and I am truly this close to pulling all of my works off the forum not in the fear of plagiarism but the blatant disregard one has for the time, effort and struggle put in by a user who unsteadily spends hours, days and weeks perfecting their art.
Aaminah works hard; she is a designer by profession and puts in the effort required and hard work required to produce the work that she has. And as an 'old-YHM' user we should be thankful to her rather than hurting her by ripping off her work.
Let's not be assholes. We are a community. Let's live like one. We can not survive as one if we step on each other like a couple of crabs in a bucket.
You need to post something? Write it. Put in the time, effort, strain and hard work required and then be proud of the comments.
I am not moral policing as the Development Team has a habit of tagging and closing every second post. And I have proof. I just do not have the time to run after a bunch of online vandals who rip off excerpts off stories that have been pulled and then post them under their banner.
And don't you dare tell me that we should spare her just because for example: 'she has continued with her own plot post chapter fifteen,' - that does not help it.
I'm sorry but I am buried neck deep in course work and I humbly request the readers who followed Amna's work to please check this out.
Please check her other work which could possibly be another plagiarized work.

If the above mentioned are seconded I expect the DT to take strict action and set an example. Right now, I do not care if I sound rude. I want justice, for once. Even if it's on an online portal.
Note: I will post the original chapters given Aaminah emails them to me given she does the same before I delete my social networks once again.
