Disclaimer: I haven't yet watched the episode, just read the WU so this thought is not final. I'll update once I watch the episode our evening time.

So from the WU it seems that Ishita and Toshiji have teamed up to bring the family together..Their plan of action seemed two pronged:
  • Make Raman realize/acknowledge he misses his family and cares for them even though he is out of his home
  • Make Bhalla ji and the Bhalla siblings realize what Raman does for his family.

But here is the disconnect. For the 1st Raman has not once shown any signs of distance from caring about his family though he's left home...so just paranthas/ food will make the man miss home? From the look of it, when he met Toshiji he was missing them as his face didnt have any 'look how good I'm without you guys' look, rather it had one of a man reeling from the pain of being misunderstood by his folks...So I'm confused there.

And is Raman' s value for his family only proportional to the monetary contribution or the care, or protectiveness he has for his parents, his siblings and Mihir? Because till now all they have shown is about money. And how Raman helping pay Mihir's downpayement for a house way beyond his means is going to make Rinki realize what a narcissistic byotch she is who is single handedly destroying the peace at her maternal home? Reading the WU, I couldnt get an answer, maybe after watching the episode my confusions will get cleared up.

And the Precap...ah well Toshiji at her impulsive best...and like everyone feels it's Raman's obligation to ensure the financial security of his married sibling...

So here are some ramblings - thoughts - points for feedback...

It's asinine for everyone to indulge Rinki's demands. So Mrs. Bhalla wants Mr. Bhalla & Romi to see the value of Raman through his financial contributions, but what will Raman helping Mihir help with? They are treating Rinki like a child which will just further spoil her and not solve anything.

Maybe I'm missing something in my annoyance. If anyone has an idea, can someone explain the rationale behind Ishita-Raman helping Mihir pay for the new flat (which Rinki & he don't need) other than to create drama?
----
Trying to teach the value of relationships through money is one vehicle, but does that no belittle the value of relationships?

Money isn't the core problem with the Bhallas. It's lack of respect & trust, and misguided expectations. Money was just the vehicle to get these cracks more visible.

I can only hope this doesn't end up looking like it's all Raman's ego and Mr. Bhalla/Romi's insecurity that lead to this mess, because it was Rinki that sparked everything. And no where did I see Raman's ego come in - his sense of self-respect, yes, but not ego.

Hey Gan 😃 Beautiful collages as usual. You're a pro. And a great topic title 😛

So here is my take.

Initially while watching the episode I had mixed thoughts about the way all this is going. I had questions like - Why is Raman's love being measured through the monetary help he provides? Is he known merely for that?

But then this is not Toshi or Ishita's fault. It is the fault of Rinki, Romi and Mr Bhalla who got in money here. Mr Bhalla didn't let him PAY for their old house, got his own food. Rinki started with all the 'Raman doesn't want to provide for us issue. And Romi's misunderstanding was also related to business. So when the disease is such, the measures used to cure it have to be the same.

The thing with all of us is, we see story writing as a lot different then what these daily soap writers do. We believe in individual justification of character which is the right way. But for them, since it's now a family drama it has to be about everyone.

I can see this track negatively or positively. But since it's just one episode into since Toshi and Ishita joined hands I am going to choose the latter.

I think what Toshi is trying to first do is make each one of them realize that Raman does A LOT and he never mentions it. But if he will mention it.. everyone will take it as him pointing out the obligations he has and will increase the fights. By this she's trying to prove how hard his job is. If she is going to go confront Rinki at this moment. She knows Rinki is going to think Mom is siding with Bhai and she won't just make life harder for her brother, but worse for Mihir. But that doesn't mean I don't want Toshi or someone to just bang Rinki's head to th wall. I so badly do 😆

Even I had an issue with money being equated to this situation and the measure being used to unite the family. But when that is what exactly broke them apart, that's the language they're going to understand. It's like you said 'Money talks' And every other joint family goes through this. For some it stays behind closed doors, for Bhalla's it's come out in the open.

I am not sure right now, but I am hopeful that by the end of this track, apart from money the feelings that he has for his family will be also be acknowledged.

Speaking from Raman's point of view (since he's the pivotal point of the track) I feel bad for the man. He has too much riding on him in terms of money pressure, and expectations. And man, how large hearted is he. He can literally give up on his life for his family. It is hence upsetting to see how his love is being measured by money.

Things I liked about the episode

- Although everyone thinks Ishita is on all sides here. I feel she's on Raman's. I don't know if the way she chose is right or wrong (too early to judge) but she wants her husband's name cleared. For him not to be misunderstood. Because she knows it hurts him to be shunned this way and that he misses his family. So I like how although she is going behind his back to get the family together. Her support and loyalty still lies with him.

- Raman's relation with Mihir. How amazing and beautiful their relation is. I don't have enough words to describe it.

- I am glad they made sure to show the effect all of this has on the children.

- I loved how Toshi sent the parathas and was then worried if Raman ate them. It was the only one scene that had pure, unconditional love riding it and no money or property talk. It was a mother's way to reach out to her son.

- I enjoyed the last scene between Param, Ishita and Raman. Old charm never dies after all 😳

Although I find this angle of bringing Param for custody NOW after the divorce is done illogical, considering the man is a damn criminal. Why would IshRa even fear him?

And I am going to hope that my giving a benefit of doubt to the show pays off. Right now it maybe about money because that's how it all started. But eventually I hope that Ishita and Raman are valued for what they are as humans, for how much they love and care for the family and for how much them two mean to everyone. If NOT then they're leaving us back with a dirty and dark message. 'Money talks?'

Hi Gan,

Beautiful collages

Today I am going to be a devil advocate for IshRa

When I read the WU I thought what is this does IshRa have no self-respect and was especially angry on Ishita for not respecting Rama wishes and Raman for giving money to Param and Rinky but while watching the episode my whole perspective changed because WU did not give the full information.

The scene with Ishita and Ruhi was nice to watch because she did not say she will clear the mess by herself she said she, Toshjii and Ruhi joined together will unite the family here she behaved like a typical mother comforting her child who was scared by the mess made by the adults.

I may be wrong but I think Toshjii thinks her other children can only understand the language of the money so she thinks that is the bridge she may use to show Raman loves them but if it is not the case I am going to be really mad at her.

I am little bit mad at her when she realized that Rinky is behaving like Shagun instead of stopping her she is encouraging her whims but once again I think she realizes that Rinky might push Mihir to the extreme because she has seen Mihir when pushed to the extreme has thrown out his family who were running behind money for genuine love showed by his brother-in-law so she might be worried that Rinky pushing Mihir might break her marriage and she went to the only couple who she knew might help her is fulfilling Rinky whims so that she does not pester Mihir.

I didn't find any fault in Ishita telling Raman about what Toshjii said because this time again they took vows that they want hide anything from each other at the same time I don't fault Ishita for trying to unite the family as she took vows that she will keep his family happy but I don't like the way she is handling it by forgiving everyone she should try to unite the family by opening the eyes of everyone as to what Raman does for them instead of hiding everything alongside Raman

The bond between Mihir and Raman is so awesome when Mihir said he did not know how to talk to him after the fiasco created by Rinky Raman said their relationship is not based on Rinky I was so awe I seriously hope the CV don't break this bond. I think Raman sanctioned the money to Rinky apartment because of Mihir he loves him so much that he doesn't want him to go looking for money outside at the same time he did not let Mihir feel he is useless or just his chamchi he said that he can take it as loan from the company same way he would be doing it from outside in that way Mihir self-respect is in tact.

Toshjii in a way was remembering Raman when she puts out the groceries that is what a mother does when she is caught between her husband and son which was explained when Simmi asked are you missing bhai but with that the added bonus came that she could tell her egoistical husband how her son ran the house without letting anybody know the pinch but this is okay for the first step in birding the gap but I want the Bahlla to miss Raman for himself not for his momentary value.

The paratha scene was nice now puttar is feeling shy in his in-laws house so he doesn't want to do the deed that is why he asked why is she closing the door in appa house and did not take the hint of you would eat me if you are hungry☺️. I guess one of the IshRa always have to shyness and dumbness not to take the hint that is why puttar was correct in going out of the damn apartment complex away from all the haddis then probably they would have done it👍🏼

Raman worrying for his mom and eating parathas alone showed how much he cares for his family and mother and how much he misses them and Ishita consoling him was nice to watch.

Everyone is angry with Raman how can he give money to Param and everyone says that court won't award custody to the person who is in jail. I liked the CV touch there which was relatable for the money transfer because Raman asked the same question to Pathak and he explained he said that if the court doesn't want to give Param the custody he wanted the kids to be placed in NGO as he can say Simmi doesn't have a job so she cannot support the kid and the person earning in the family has literally moved out so there is no financial stability for the kid in her house because remember during Ruhi case the judge said if they find both parents unfit they would give the custody of the kid to NGO

Raman was correct in telling Pathak he doesn't want Simmi to know about it because as a big brother he wanted to shield his sister from even more hurt that is how Raman is and I don't find any fault with Raman for transferring the money for the time being but I want him to get it back from him.

Param was nice refresher from this emotional drama but I found his kammenapan lacking little bit but found his one liner funny that Ishita is the only person who can handled Raman.

As of CV showing Iyers righteous and Bhalla wrong people people have forgotten that Ishita mom behaved liked a mad person when she assumed Ishita was in love Raman and did so many kaands like telling the whole world her daughter is in love and going to see Raman pay slip without confirming from her daughter whether it is true.

Appa hiding things from amma during the financial stress so that she doesn't have to worry just like Raman does to Ishita

Mihika a museum piece who put her life in ruins and generally behaving like a person who doesn't have brains for a selfish narcissistic person( Shagun) thinking to save her from ruin.

Vandu hiding her pregnancy from Bala so that not to add more stress to him

Bala hiding about the girl I forgot the name but I am not sure whether that track would ever materialize

so when the tracks needed Iyers also have been shown to make errors and they are also human but right now the track is focusing on the Bhalla family so the errors is going to be that way.

I seriously hope the precap is again a drama created by them instead if it turns out to be real then Toshjii also joins the rank of selfish Bhallas.

On a side not missed Sarika today in the house I guess MIL enters and DIL vanishes we need to bring ACP back to investigate and to flirt with Mihika😆

Note to CV: I seriously wish that all the Bhalla parivar learn what Raman does for them and to apologize and grovel at his feet when the track ends I want a sensible ending for the track not OTT and not comedy and please don't make it Raman faults for leaving the house

Finally..

Made it here to unres my post.

Starting with the track, there has been so much I have wanted to say about this track but just couldn't manage to comment. So kindly everyone please bear with my rant.

Rinki : Whatever has happened to this girl. Has she just dropped her brains in the bar's she has been thriving on.? Just listening to a friend has filled so much poison inside her that she is dead against her own brother. The brother who showered nothing but love on her all these years. Spent his money to educate her, and this is her being so called educated. She is behaving like a snarky illiterate who cannot see the reality. Neither she respects her brother, neither does she respect her sister in law nor she respects her husband whom she claims to be fighting for. Right, she fighting for no one but herself. Her own luxuries. Blinded by the greed, she has probably become one of the fastest characters to reach the level of sheer dumbness and there is no looking back.

Mr. Bhalla : Probably one of the sanest characters has been added to the butchering list now. I have to considered his character butchered because of the way he is behaving. Sr Bhalla was one of the only sane characters in Bhalla houehold who was on neither extremes compared to the others but now sadly, he is just another Bhalla who is blinded by his ego and is appallingly self centered. Can he seriously not see the real cause of the mess in the house and believes its Raman's ego.? He has conveniently turned a blind eye to the doings of his other children. All he sees is what Raman does, when actually he has done nothing but just defended himself or i should say tried to defend himself. He could see Raman yelling at Rinki but turned a blind eye to how she was behaving with him and her SIL. He could apparently see how Raman misbehaved with Sarika but couldn't see how Romi misbehaved with Ishita, Bala and Mihir. Shocking.! Whatever happened to this man. Yes he has never opened his mouth when needed, then why the heck is he reacting so much now.? And moreover, he tells Toshi of how egoistic Raman is to walk out of the house. Brilliant. Its not called arrogance, its called self respect. Can he for once look at how immaturely he has been behaving post being blinded by his ego.? He couldn't even stop his son from leaving but had the nerve to say that I didn't ask him to go so how should I stop him.? Well then Mr Bhalla, if your ego doesn't let you step down and talk to your son, stop expecting him to stick around and bearing your insults. It hurt to see the way he had treated Raman all these days. Sickening.

Romi : Well, he was blinded by the momentary misunderstanding which probably may be cleared in the coming episodes but the venom he spewed was disgusting. Starting from Ishita to Mihir to Bala and finally ending on Raman's past, utterly disgusting.

Simmi : She has been the only sane one in all this mess and i expect her to remain one. Start off by giving her beloved sister a piece of mind or even better.. a righteous slap across her face for starting all this nonsense.

Toshi : The one character I had my hopes on but looking at the way she is tuning out to be, its better i stop hoping. Did she even try to know what made her son leave the house.? she walks in and starts blaming her son and DIL but for once did she try to enquire as to why he left with his family? She could see her husband shedding tears and it angered her, then how does she expect Ishita to not stand by Raman and leaving him to his decision. Hurling dialogues like, i trusted you and you let this happen. Blah Blah Blah.

Doesn't she know her son enough of how much he adores his family and would never abandon them unless hurt, last of all in ego.?

Why are all the Bhallas being blinded by money.? Its just so disgusting.

All these episodes, my heart went out to IshRa. More to Puttar. What wrong has the man done to deserve this kind of treatment from the people he spent his life showering love on.? For once he tries to secure his family, his wife whom he trusts the most and things go haywire. One dumb sister turns the whole house upside down. There is so much more i want to write but my rant can go on forever.

I will just get to todays episode. What is wrong with Toshi.? She can see where the problem lies which happens to be her immature greedy daughter and yet she expects Raman to be taking care of her useless demands. What is he to her.? A living ATM? Just because he takes care of everyone's needs without a word doesn't mean he is obliged to fulfill every wish. That too such an unreasonable one. So Mr Bhalla finally seems to be realizing of how the expenses were taken care as long as Raman was there, and now what.? Bijli bachao andolan since Raman is not there to pay the dreaded bills and pay for the expenses. Why doesn't Mr Bhalla go to the market and sell his ego, he may get a high price. Atleast enough to pay for the expense.😳. What a lot of ungrateful people these Bhallas are!. Rinki, the less i say about her the better it will be. The girl needs a slap to get her back to her senses.

Putter and Biwi are still making efforts to help them and frankly, being IshRa, I know they will never abandon their family how much ever we want, that's just how they are. Raman still agreed to pay for Mihirs apartment, now Param and then he wills till continue to help them despite all that he has been through.. Same way Ishita will try all in her hands to reunite the family. I saw a few were not happy with her telling Raman about the Mirhir apartment thing, but I feel she just did the right thing. Looking at the way these 2 are being mu'd at the drop of a hat, had she hid this from Raman, i could see her getting blamed for playing tricks and trying to create diff between the family. Maybe between Rinki and Raman or even Toshi and Raman. And toshi in precap is an example of the same.

I can't even start on how bad I feel for IshRa. No matter how much they do, its not enough for these people. The preacap again is a blow, Rinki spitting venom about how her brother didn't give the money and Toshi being her usual impulsive self and firing Ishita. I still don't get it, why the hell is the supposed to pay for Rinki's unreasonable demands! PATHETIC!

Bhallas have fallen to the deepest levels in this track. Just looking forward to a proper ending where everyone get's their due of thrashings, be it Rinki or Romi and for that matter even Mr Bhalla cause they have hurt Puttar too much! :( </3

This is for my babies..🤗 It hurting to see them being blamed for everything when all they have been doing is cleaning the mess created by the Bhallas at the cost of their personal lives. Specially Puttar, just couldn't see him being hurt again and again by every member he loves. Spare him for the love of god. He is a human, not a machine!

Phew, big rant. But well, that was half of my pent up anger over the past few days! 😆
All sorry for boring you with that rant.. couldn't help it! 😳

Editedd..

Well, today's was an okayish episode for me... Ur title...thats my doubt.. Was Raman used only for money??? Because that's what all were talking about... Right from Toshiji saying and hinting it to Bhallaji and Simmi.. Paiso ke alawa aur kuch nahi? I felt sick in my stomach.🤢 Not fair to Raman...

I loved Ishima-Ruhi scene.. After really long we got to see Maa-Beti talk and huggie and kissie!❤️

Rinkyyy...Errr! She is pure waste for me!🤢

Raman-Mihir.. great conversation but I don't know, I felt somewhere off...! But beautiful collages!❤️ The best brother bonding.. If I had to rank on which scale is their bonding..I would scale Raman-Mihir as 10/10 and Raman-Romi maybe with a 5 or 6!

I loved Ishita's attempts on making her gussile pati eat paranthas! Cutee IshRa scene!😳
But Raman didn't look like he was missing home or anything, (after knowing the true colors) just worried about Mother's health. Well that's common. Any child will do that.

Bala-Romi scene, it did give me some hopes. I am looking forward for the scene where Bala tells Romi khud about why Ishita said that or Romi might overhear Bala..Either way its better he gets to know the truth...

Paramji waapisss!!! OMG! Ab halla machayenge yeh nalayak!😡🤢 Looking forward on how CVs pull this track up!

Precapp..Arghhh! What was that? Under the plan or just a blow up after hearing to Rinky... God, this lady has got super manipulative powers. Ek Chutki mein, she pulled everyone against IshRa!

What I didn't like is the way Raman is remembered only for monetary reasons. Is he there to pay the bills only? Shouldn't he be missed for his warm and loving heart; his care for his family? Why only bcoz of monetary reasons?
Secondly Toshiji could have reprimanded rinky for being unreasonably demanding as a wife. What on earth will 2 people do in a 5 bedroom house?

Thirdly the precap was annoying. This woman changes table in a split of a second. How can she mistrust raman n ishita?

Romi - Bala scene gave some hopes. May be Romi will now get to know the real reason why ishita stopped Bala from giving the contract to him.

I have a mixed feelings regarding Epi... where its fine that ishita and Toshiji trying to reunite the family.. trying to solve differences between family members i am ok with this but what i am not able to digest is why its looks like everyone depends financially on Raman only ? Toshiji knows all this drama happened because of Rinky.. she knows mihir can't afford to buy such expensive flat then why can't she make Rinky understand that she should adjust with what she have its not like that Rinky not living good life she has good house caring husband who fulfill his all duties as husband.. what else she wants ? Isn't Toshiji thinking how greedy her daughter become ...but still Toshiji brushing off her daughter's behavior saing its immaturity. Why Toshiji expecting Raman to help Rinky to buy flat ? Ok May be as elder brother she is expecting Raman to fulfill his little sister's wish but doesn't she should explain Rinky that Rinky should adjust her life.. her expenses par her husband's income and should not depend on anyone else.. instead Toshiji indirectly told ishu to make Raman help mihir..Which I don't appreciate..

In other scenario where Toshiji talking about. "Aate daal ka bhav" even there she talked to bhalla ji that how they have to do cost cutting as now Raman is not there so they have to take care before spending money unnecessarily which to me again looked like Raman's important in that house is as only because of his financial status all can rely on Raman for there expenses.. i might be wrong but as of now its all looking like that only to me...

And I don't think anyone have to make Raman understand what is the value of family i think Raman very well know it.. that day he told ishu how he was able to come over difficult situations in his life because of his family support.. even now he is doing everything for family his siblings he is buying flat for Rinky he is trying to help simmi.. he is trying to fulfill his all duties as elder son of the family.. what else Raman have to do to prove he knows.understand value of his family ? Raman's ego doesn't make him leave bhalla house.. it was hurt and for self respect of his and his wife.. Raman is Not at all wrong there.. but we know ishra being ishra will forgive everything and will be always ready to do anything for there loved ones Though I admire them for being such a kind hearted large hearted ppl but sometimes they should also become bit selfish which I know not possible in desi daily soaps 😆

Coming to my favorite scen in Epi Raman ishu and param scen.. param is back with his smirk and his famous "ishita ji" oh i really liked it when he told Raman that only ishu can cantrol Raman he very well knows only Biwi can handle puttar 😉 the actor Anurag sharam is doing great job as param i enjoy watching his scen with ishra especially Raman as he always beaten by puttar but still don't leave his kameenapanti 😆 let's what is param's role in all this..

Mihir Raman scen was nice.. there bond is beautiful as brothers as friends and I admire there relation 😳

Would be looking forward for collages Gan if possible please if you can make one college of ishra param scen 😳
