He settled on his seat after keeping his laptop bag and her hand bag in the overhead bin. She who was already settled at the window seat looked at him and smiled which he chose to ignore.
She was disappointed but thought that probably he was too tired to smile because of the chaos happened just few minutes back. They were almost about to miss the flight thanks to the city's traffic. But they were able to catch it when she had suggested walking the left over kilometers for the airport. He had looked at her angrily but eventually agreed seeing no other option.

His rude reply surely hurt her this time and she chose to turn away her face and enjoy the flight through the window.
As the air hostesses gave instructions, his anger rose higher.

That one letter from his mother changed something in him. He knew she wasn't happy and so was he but he never had an idea about the tears she had shed for him. He only knew, whenever they fought, she always shouted maintaining the upper hand. For the first time, he realized that just like him, she was hurt too.
He could not love her or give this marriage a second chance but care was something he had to give her. Firstly because of her health and secondly to return what she did for his mother.

The rest of the journey was silent but it didn't reduce her excitement. She was way too happy like any other girl. She though had some extra expectations from this trip. They had been married for a week but didn't share any sort of intimacy so she thought this honeymoon would bring in the much needed spice of love in her life. Only if she knew what was coming ahead.
It was already dark by the time they checked in into their luxury honeymoon suite in a lavish resort in Munnar. Her happiness and his anger both were visible in their eyes.
Ishita: Raman this is so beautiful...I feel as if I am in dream world

The dinner was a silent affair. Whenever she tried to speak, he told her to not speak while eating. He had a valid point so she gave up to his suggestion happily. After the dinner, she freshened up and came out only to find him sleeping.
Husband sleeping on the first night of the honeymoon was a big turn off and more than that a matter of concern for any wife. The room which was beautifully or better erotically decorated was such a waste, she thought.
She was angry but more than angry, she was disappointed. She was hurt but her unconditionally love transformed her hurt into lovely care. He was too tired by the journey she thought and the headache he had mentioned made her belief stronger.

She woke up lazily and stretched her hands. She then turned to find him missing. She checked in the washroom and everywhere around but he was nowhere.

It was a lame excuse but she wanted to believe all his lamest lies. That was the only thing happening for the past one week.
She was locked in the room and he was stuck at some unknown place. The whole day went by and he only came back when it was already dark outside.
Ishita: Hi...kaisi thi aapki meeting

And that was it...her patience level reached its saturation point and she fumed in anger. She angrily walked to the bed and sat close to where he was already lying.

It was all too fast for his mind to register.
She returned back to Bombay catching the very next flight. He too reached there the next morning ready to get a good scolding from his father. But much to his surprise, things seemed normal.
She had told his parents that the climate didn't suit her so they had to come back and Raman had directly gone for a meeting from the airport. When Bhalla Ji was happy, Toshi Ji was able to sense something wrong.
He had mouthed a thank you to her which was ignored by her for all the right reasons.
