Divyanka Tripathi and Ssharad Malhotra seemed like a couple who was meant to be. After a courtship of 7 years, one would imagine the two to end up together and live happily ever after. But what followed was a bitter break-up. Divyanka and Ssharad ended their long term relationship and haven't crossed paths ever since, as confirmed by the actress. Die hard fans of the couple were distraught with the news and wondered on what went wrong.
The two chose to keep mum on the same for a while but soon Divyanka spilled the beans in an interview implying that she gave the relationship her all but didn't quite receive the same from her former beau. But the good news is, Divyanka has moved on and is single and ready to mingle! In an interview with a leading daily, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress spoke at length about her take on love post her break up and whether she is open to dating actors now." In relationships, you can't decide (your partner's) profession. He could be from any walk of life. Right now, I am slightly sceptical of actors, but I believe in never say never," said Divyanka.
So has her opinion on relationships changed post break- up with Ssharad? Well, not quite! "I am still a hard-core romantic. I am waiting for the right person who wants my love. I meant to get married. I realized my worth post-break up. I have changed as a person. Today, I am more independent and I am happy being myself. I have realized that life is not about being in a relationship but living the way you want to," expressed the actress.
