for all that you wrote, i don't want leap. especially the whole shagun back with raman leaves a bad taste in my mouth 🤢 that being said i'm not tweeting this time because it doesn't make any difference. last time we tweeted for the time change and no one listened. and the story definitely suffered. despite the leap protest, they've already started laying the foundation for the leap with ishita's report and all 😒 they won't listen
i'll be visiting the forum because i love the writing here but once the leap happens, or more accurately once raman allows shagun back in his life, yhm ends for me 😭

Thank you for the thread G.

Can't write much about the current scenario as it exhausts me and kills the little hope. I need to save it for tweeting et all. I want to say one thing though, I will fight till the end with others. When it is here, I quit. I can't make myself to watch any of the episodes from now on until we get some kind of official announcement as I can't control myself from thinking about the impending disaster.

This ALWAYS happens with EK and BT shows. I was a fool to assume that it would be different this time. I blame no one but me for associating myself with the show. Not entirely sorry because the show gave me many memories to cherish and above all friends for life.
Good luck to all of us and hope and pray that this will be salvaged. Will try to come back later with my thoughts about the disgusting, atrocious and abominable script post-leap. My fight is against that. I loath the idea and am appalled that people could come up with such abhorrent thoughts. I pity them. I am dismayed at their thought process. Also, feel sorry for the fabulous cast. Their talent down the drain.

I'll leave with this song -- Khudaaya from Shanghai

The lyrics describing our love for the show and searching for the YHM that we lost.

"Rehmat khuda kar zara, ik dafaa
Dil dene ka keh zara, falsafa
Ye naachiz ik chiz uski maange hai tujhse
Musafir ye dehleez uski maange hai tujhse

Khudaya tu bata, Kahaan uska pata; Pata kar
Main uske bina be pata hu
be pata, be pata, be pata hu
Khudaya tu bata, Kahaan uska pata; Pata kar
Main uske bina be pata hu
be pata, be pata, be pata hu"

Res
Everyone has said everything I wanted to say. I love YHM. This is the first, the very first Hindi serial I have watched since its inception. I saw its promo, I was intrigued, I saw the first few episodes, and I was hooked.

Which is why this nonsensical twist, this leap, re coupling with exes who have humiliated and denigrated them, Ishita leaving the husband and child she has continuously sworn never to desert - this makes no sense.

I have tweeted and emailed and commented on Insta - futile? Maybe. It's just fiction, yes, I know that, I can just stop watching, yes I know that too. But I felt a connection with this show, with these characters. I have made friends through this show, friends I have never met yet whom I feel connected to on so many levels.

So thank you to YHM for giving me my soul sisters. For giving me over a year of entertainment and discussion points. For emboldening me to make public my penchant for writing cliche soppy romances. Thank you for the journey thus far, but if you makers will violate the very essence of the show, then my journey with YHM will probably end now. It will be hard, but how do you watch something you love being butchered.

Yet before I give up, because I don't like giving up, I will try. I have tried. And so yes Gan, I say yes to tweeting and protesting. For if you never stand up to be counted, how can you then protest against the death of your passion?

Superb Gan. I dont reply much or post but your post compelled me.
I think your post said it everything. This is the main reason why all are protesting.
Why should Raman go through the same pain again? Also Ruhi. Raman has found love in Ishita after bearing a lot and now when he is happy and has again started beleiving in love they want him to go through the same pain . Why?

Also Ruhi. She got the love of mother after 6 years.Ishita is the only person whom ruhi loves the most in this world. Also she trusts her blindly. We had seen the way ruhi behaved during that swapping track. She just cant accept that her Ishima can broke her trust.

And the makers want to show that only. Why?
Why dont Raman & Ruhi have the right to be happy and get the love of the person whom they love the most.

Rather than being angry with the spoiler,I feel very bad for Raman and Ruhi.

Gan I think you should send this to the makers so that they can get back to their senses. They should know that we have the solid reason for the protest and that we are not fools.

Posting this from another place with some extra thoughts.

We were told this would be a mature show, and as pathetically sloppy last few tracks have been...we have put up with it & lowered our expectations bc the leads were one. They fought but they came back together.

Ishita using Subbu, a man who just recently called her out on her infertility, to "protect" Raman & her children from watching her go through chemo/dying is not mature.

Raman allowing Shagun, a woman who essentially emasculated him, near his children, whom she has manipulated & almost gotten killed more than once, is unpalatable.

Are women just a place holder to take care of kids? Shagun out, Ishita in, and then Ishita out, Shagun in?

Do families not deserve to fight a disease together? To build some final memories? Is it ever justified to hurt someone you love to "protect them?" Is it fair to take away the right to be there for your wife, whom Raman loves dearly?

The basic premise of this spoiler for me personally is unpalatable, and I've seen it before in a few other shows...so what's unique and is it necessary?

---

Now if the leap is more than 1 year - I don't get the point. It won't stretch the story. If they are hell bent on an ugly, pointless, self-defeating separation - they can do a short leap. reunion. filler tracks. Then a major leap. This could stretch their show at least 1.5 years in itself.

Seriously this seems like the dumbest decision ever.

And if they actually show the next C before the leap...then W*F is wrong with them? Maybe they want to give us a place to quit watching. I hate leaving things incomplete, but if they show the next C & go through with this sickening madness - then I have the perfect place to stop. My journey with Ishita & Raman will be complete & over.

I may keep up via IF but I have no desire, even for the cast which is my favorite, to stick around and actually watch. I was looking forward to an infertility track and seeing how Ruhi/Adi adjust, but now any excitement is gone.

So for the people protesting - thank you for sacrificing YOUR sleep, family time, work time, and mental peace for this show. While EK is off vacationing, you all are showing true dedication to a once beautiful show. It is absolutely disgusting to me that no one will give a definitive answer. 1000s of fans have given up so much & they don't respect them enough to give a straight answer. Are online viewers just to be appreciated when awards are around? Why can they not respect their viewers? It's pathetic to me.

I can only pray SP listens to everyone's pleas bc some people have given up so much for a show they hold dear. Yes it's a TV show but the initial story held issues dear to the hearts of many, so please stop ridiculing fans & respect their emotions & time by at least giving a straight answer so they can decide to continue or move on.

Gan🤗and the rest of the gang 🤗
its been a very long time indeed that I posted in the forum. Your post today moved me Gan.. reminded me of why I got aboard this ship called YHM .

Its these broken images that got me hooked on to the show.. and yes, I am sorry that I jumped the ship when the going got tough.. there were somethings that I just couldn't ignore and no matter how much I tried to focus on the larger picture of Ishra, I just couldn't digest it all so for the sake of my sanity (and all of yours too..'cos all I had was mostly rants with a few words probably about the Ishra 😉)

Having said that, I still used to read the updates once in a way 'cos it was difficult for me to give up on ISHRA. So I skipped through subbuisms, shagunisms and everything in between.. but still used to catch up once in a way on ISHRA..
But having read the latest, the news was totally gobsmacking .. The creatives are playing with the very essence of the show.. And like you, I strongly believe that, if you have no story to tell, then its better to draw the curtains than show something which makes a mockery of the tale so far!

And yes, it still hard for me to believe that this crap is the "creative output" (I believe its the lack of it, for sure) of a female writer who is happily married. What the heck are they trying to sell? and is YHM going to be the Hindi version of Bold and Beautiful? Is that the nayi soch that Star wants to promote? What happened to the thought of families sticking together and facing adversities? what is the difference between what Raman did when he planned to skip the country and what ishita is being made to do because of some non - curable disease? Does that mean that the story teller believes that her husband should marry someone else if heaven-forbid she falls sick? or that she would marry someone else if her husband were to fall sick? Is that what love and marriage all about? To spare the other person from the adverse conditions?

Revived my twitter and have been retweeting.. and I hope that they stop with this illogical leaps and jumps, but what bugs me is that why did we even get here in the first place? Don't they realize that their thinking is really in the pits, that they need millions of others to show them the mirror? Pathetic!!!

Everyone needs to quit desi TV if they want to maintain sanity...

Or watch SAB TV - the entire channel is filled with nonsensical, light-hearted humor! You never feel like a disgusting person after watching their shows - maybe a bit stupider but that applies to all desi shows! 😆
