She turned around, and showed him her stunted locks, with their jagged ends, reaching a little below her waist, "Look at my hair...am an ungainly sight without my long, flowing tresses...I am no more the Rapunzel you first fell in love with," she cried.
The prince took her face in his hands, peered into her eyes, nudged his nose with the tip of her nose, and grazed his cheeks against her tear-streaked ones. Took her long golden hair in his hands, and caressing them, said," Whoever found them magnificent, most certainly knew how magical you already are inside out, Rapunzel," and pulled her into the warmth of his arms. O M G ...Ishu took a bunch of FAKE HAIR, a thin, limp-ish wig, to be precise.. and fixed it with a clip to her own hair...she looked like she was trying to be a mean witchš the chudail who was out to get Rapunzelš
Raman in BLUE...Wow...and yesterday he was wearing yellow..How does this guy pull off ANY colour he dons...š
"Beta...bahut baar Thailand gaya hun"Raman replied,š when Ishu asked him (doubtfully), "Aap sure ho aap kar paoge?" (What does he mean? He has expertise in providing massages kya?š)
She asks him to first feel her hair "soft hai naa?"
"Inhe bank mein jama nai kiya..interest milta" Raman quippedš¤£
"Karti naa..lekin maine baal kabhi katwaye hi nai"
Raman was looking so FONDLY at her...ekdum taad raha tha...kitne PYAAR se champi kar raha tha...My god...he looked like usmein thodi der ke liye Amma ki aatma ghus gayi thi...itne pyar pyar se champi kar raha tha...haye
"Mere baalon ko kuch nai hona chahiye...am telling you" Ishu said, as Raman unmindfully pulled out a bunch of hair, looking scared that he has just done the dreaded...and then Ishu started narrating how she had once gone to a barber and how he had messed up with her hair...
"mere pairon pe jhuk ke usne sorry bola hai...saste mein chhodne nai wali hun main kisiko"
"Ek baat batao...agar kisise galti ho jaye toh?" Raman asked...gingerly
"Toh jaan le lun main uski...saansen rok dun uski" Raman kept looking at the hair..and at his wife's animated head going this way and that, Manjulika style, ready to attack anyone who dared mess with her long, silky hair
She also said something along the lines of "Naa main khud soungi na kisi aur ko sone dungi"
Raman looked aghast at the tuft of hair lying limp in his hands.. and suddenly, he wrapped up the champi session, saying "Chal Madrassan...bas ho gaya...ho gayi champi"
as Ishutied her hair, she touched it thoughtfully, "Mere haal halke lag rahe hain"
"Kuch kam lag rahe hain naa Raman..."
"Arrey nai...bilkul nai...Maine ek ek baal gine hain tere...ek bhi kam nai hain...ulta badh gaye hain"š¤£
THAT WAS HILARIOUS!
"Tune iske itne baal ukhaad liye...ismein toh Anupam Kher ki wig ban jayegi"š¤£ and then he hid the hair strands in his pocket, so as to save his ass, for the time being at least
"Aap so nai kya" she asked a panicking, clueless Raman, as she latched on to him, hugged him tight from the side...snuggling up to him...Kal hi mujhe realize hua, ki suddenly, Ishita isnt awkward and shy and unsure about physical closeness with her husband...I mean, yesterday she positively LEANED in and later hugged him...today again she piled on to him from the side, grabbing him in a bear hug...I guess the barriers are melting away naeen??š She looked like a baccha seeking some pampered treatment, and Raman looked an indulgent Papa
Wahan Sujata is assuring Subbu that she will get a certificate stating that Lakshmi was undergoing psychiatric treatment...for her depression..
Sujata gets a call from Ishu, who invites her home to check the preparations and also to spend some time with her would-be-bahu, but says she has to go to court... "bahut important meeting hai...and the judge was very kind..isliye unofficially meeting ke liye taiyyar ho gaye "
AAJ TAK AISA JUDGE KE BAARE MEIN SUNA NAI MAINE...Sujata badi privileged hai bhai! And I noticed how she made that irritated face and rolled her eyes when Ishu calledš”
Toshi was apparently making some kheer for Sujata...Ishu asks her not to worry, if she laid the table with a bowl of kheer, anyone would rush to have it...and then she left for the doctor's to get her reports...But hang on, does this mean Ishita and Subbu (coincidentally) had their respective treatments in the SAME hospital?? Coz that is the one where Sujata appeared to take the certificate from the doctor
Ishita is at the receptionist's...gets her report..and as she turns she sees Sujata striding purposefully up the stairs...she gets shocked...and she decides to follow her..and sees Sujata enter Dr. Aditi Sharma's clinic..who is apparently a psychiatrist...she recalls where she had first seen this name...and realises it was the visiting card that had fallen off Subbu's diary that bore this doctor's name...she recollects what Subbu had told her... "Lakshmi depression ke liye psychiatric treatment le rahi hai"
Doc ne certificate de di Sujata ko.. wahan pe bhi she insisted that they share it with their near and dear ones... Sujata said they didnt want anybody to know Subbu was taking psychiatric treatment and they had their own personal reasons for not disclosing it to anybody...Ishita was standing outside the door..and thru the glass portion in the door, she could hear every word? Hein?
"Subbu psychiatric treatment le raha hai...aisa hai toh phir Subbu aur Sujata ji ne bataya kyun nai...itni badi baad chhupayi humse...KYUN?"
She is back home...Bhallas and Simmi are busy in the preparations...Ishu gets tensed...contemplative...thinking the Bhallas, unaware and blissfully happy are busy with the preparations
Toshi is sending Ishu to go to Sujata's place...with some kheer, some sample bangles of Simmi...and some other stuff..Ishita feels this would be a good excuse to talk to Sujata...Btw, if Toshi knew that Sujata wasnt at home but in the court, why did she send Ishu with the kheer and the bangles? Mini blooper, it wasš
"Aagar aaj hamari yeh meeting nai hoti naa..toh main zaroor aati" Sujata offered her explanation
"Aap jhooth kyun bol rahi hain Sujata ji"
"Maine...dekha tha aapko..psychiatrist ke office jaate huey" Ishita said, trying to gauge Sujata's reactions..
"Treatment Subbu ka chal raha tha...par mujhse kaha gaya ki Lakshmi ka treatment chal raha hai"
and then she brought up the miscarriage wala issue... "Lakshmi toh dobara conceive hi nai kar sakti thi...Karthik ke baad"
SHE BLASTED SUJATA...literally...She wanted to call Subbu to clarify regarding the same...but then Sujata stopped her
And O M G ...Sujata then started with the pros and cons of mental health treatment..and how people in India perceive it differently...how Subbu didnt share it with his own mother, else "Tum toh jaanti ho naa, ki Subbu ki maa kitni hyper ho jati hain"
"Reaction isliye nai kyunki Subbu treatment le raha hai...Reaction isliye kyunki jhooth bola gaya hai humse"BANG ON Ishu...the psychiatric treatment isnt that big a deal, as is the reason behind hiding this info from the Bhallas... And then Sujata dishes out some more nonsense, ki Lakshmi ki Maa hun main, main jaanti hun uska miscarriage hua tha..par Subbu ne yeh apni Maa ko nai bataya...to protect Lakshmi...WHAT SENSE DOES THIS MAKE? SO ALL OF A SUDDEN, SUBBU IS CLOSER TO HIS MIL THAN HE IS TO HIS OWN MOTHER??
WHY DID SUBBU NOT TELL HIS OWN MOM THAT HIS WIFE HAS HAD A MISCARRIAGE...WHAT NONSENSE! and then she shed some fake tears...and Ishu ended up hugging her ..and consoling her...and even APOLOGIZING to her, for having mistaken herš
Subbu trusts Ishita so much ki yeh sab woh sirf use bata raha hai...and apparently, solely because of this reason, Iishu shudnt have doubted Subbu...Really?
CLEARLY SUJATA'S INTENTIONS ARE NOT GOOD ..What I dont understand is...if Lakshmi and her kid DID die in an aircrash, Lakshmi could not have cnceived had she stayed alive, WHERE IS THE BHALLAS' FAULT?? So cryptic...ufff...š”
And I dunno...but I feel Ishita shudnt have confronted Sujata right away...she should've waited for the right time, keeping a watch on Sujata and Subbu...I mean, the wedding is still a good month away..aise directly poochke, she did catch Sujata unawares, but then Sujata fibbed and turned tables in a jiffy..Now toh this woman will get all chaukanna..and Ishu will have a hard time finding the truth out ..
Ruhi is leaving for summer camp...awww...she looked so so cute.. Ishu was asking her to eat on time, be careful and the usual Mommy's last min tips
"Ishima..main badi ho gayi hun...main khud apna khyaal rakh sakti hun..aap apna khyaal rakhna" Ruhi said, all serious and dadi-Amma types...
"Beti sadak pe jaa rahi hai kya?" Raman retorted, when Ishu said she wanted to go along with Romi to drop Ruhi off...
"Ab Ruhi bhi chali gayi...ab main ghar pe baithke pakunga...akele" Adi grumbled
As they chit chat, Mihika comes in with some Manav Sir...Adi ka guitar teacher...
Raman asks Adi to go to the room...
"Agar tujhe sports camp jaana hota toh main haan keh deta..par yeh guitar bajana...KYA hai yeh! har kisi pe apni pasand thop deti hai" he DOES NOT want Adi to learn guitar and is not ready to give up the fight either
Ishu came to Adi's defense and said guitar seekhna is cooler... "centre of attraction hoga parties mein...aur waise bhi, Adi mere birthday pe special gana gayega" and she wraps up the conversation by saying, "Adi...Papa loves you ...aur woh tumse wohi karwayenge jo woh chahte hain...ab Papa ko decide karne do...chalo"
PRECAP - ISHITA finds the bunch of hair and starts bawling... "MERE BAAL!!" Raman gets fidgety and tries to calm her down
"Arrey ro kyun rahi ho...ghar ki kheti hai...ugg jayenge"š
"Aap hatyare ho" THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST LINE ISHU HAS EVER SAIDš¤£ Raman is a killer coz he accidentally pulled out a bunch of Ishu's hairš
Am looking forward to this will pan out...TOTALLY!!
P.S. In my opinion, Ishu shud inform Raman about this thing...ASAP..For that matter, even Raman hasnt shared that he saw Subbu there (dunno why these two cant share this things which snowball into major fights later) Coz then the loose ends in this mysterious story would tie up...if she doesnt wanna tell the Bhalas right now, coz she doesnt want to scare them and create a ruckus in this mahaul, then fine..but Raman OUGHT TO KNOW..Even if Sujata turns out to be a harmless fly in the end and doesnt hurt a soul, Raman SHUD knw...coz then he will put two and two together and realize Subbu has been lying..and there really IS something fishy with Subbu...coz he too had once ALMOST caught him outside the doc's clinic...
P.S. Just random and off the topic, but its the SAME doc (Aditi Sharma) who Subbu used to visit..and yet, the last time they showed the clinic it looked it was housed in a diff building and today it looked like it was another hospital altogether...bloopers many? Cvs?
Raman and Ishita have CONFESSED their feelings to each other...and right now what we need, apart from their playful nokjhoks is COMMUNICATION..owing to which their relationship has suffered a lot in the past...I hope love brings in this much-needed element in their bonding and strengthens it..I hope to see this change this time aroundš
