Movies of Sonam Kapoor's which I enjoyed
It's been ages since I watched an episode on time and in it's entirety without fast-forwarding any part. You know G how just a fleeting moment, a simple touch, or a look was all it took for us to connect to the show and the characters, that very feeling of connect I got today after 6 months. Today I felt Raman's pain, his anguish at losing his priced possession, his wife. I felt Ishita's calm when she saw her husband and realized she is okay and better than okay being around him. I felt for the kids, the pain and sadness in Adi's eyes at seeing the ugly bitter truth of his mother falling from grace, and Ruhi's pain and turmoil at almost losing a mother again. It was a brilliant episode and wonderfully enacted by the entire cast.
DT didn't need any words and neither did KP, the way he portrayed Raman's angst and his breakdown in her arms was just magical and cathartically beautiful. DT infused so much warmth and love in Ishita, her eyes and the way she caressed her broken husband forgetting her own physical pain was just outstanding. For the sake of these brilliant actors I hope and pray that good writing returns to this show and sensibility and subtlety reign again.
I think there is quote by Rumi that states,
"The wound is the place where the Light enters you."
Ruhi, Adi, Raman and Ishita were all wounded but love entered their soul as the light in their life, to heal these four and finally be the family they always desired to be.
I can go on and on about the beauty and subtlety of the episode but I must stop because gym calls my name (sadly) and then a bridal shower, also don't wanna annoy people with unnecessary rambling.
Will update more later on, if I have time.
