So Subbu the dentist has power over the British Embassy. Just when I start believing that it can't get more crappier than this, the CVs surprise me with more shit (excuse the language).
OK, accepted that the writers are not able to come up with new ideas, but couldn't this have been avoided? What are they trying to have Subbu achieve by stopping Shaila Bhua from coming over? In this new age of technology, what stops her from narrating everything she knows about Subbu, Lakshmi and the suicide case, over the phone or Skype, or post all the info with news clippings/links on the social networking sites?
Suspension of disbelief only works to a point. The story needs to maintain its own form of believability, but the CVs are pushing the limits too far.
I realize that each of my post oozes negativity and complaint, but there is really not much of positive things going on in YHM these days, and the ones that they have are overpowered by this kind of utter stupidity.
The story has..had..so much potential, if only the writers recognized it. I also feel, like some of you, that if they refuse to put more efforts in sprucing up the show, then they should just end it on a high note and give a good closure to it while they can.
