I think Lakshmi, Subbu's wife, committed suicide. That's what it seems like from the entry in her diary, but that doesn't explain how Subbu lost his son also, unless Lakshmi killed the baby along with herself. How do the Bhallas factor in the problem though?
I wonder if it's possible that Simmi and Param (back when they were together) had something to do with it. Maybe Param harassed Lakshmi or something, IDK.
