I'm here after a long hiatus..haven't commented in your thread in a very long time, even though I do go thru' the discussions whenever I get a chance..I just love your collage thread and I think you have a bunch of amazingly talented and perceptive writers participating in discussions here👏⭐️

I enjoyed going through the discussion about the "jumping to baby making subject" by our erring Bhalla..First of all, I want to say that I, too, fall under the category of the majority who thinks that the whole approach could have been handled in a much better manner, and the baby topic could have been avoided. But then after I watched the episode, I started pondering over the whole chain of events leading to the controversial text message.

Tempted to play the devils advocate here, I started wondering what's wrong in him mentioning that? Would it have appeared or felt better to us if Raman, after waiting 1.5 years to confess his feelings verbally to Ishita, directly makes physical advances, or indicates in his gestures or words, that "come baby, let's make out, now that we are done with the formalities of verbalizing/confessing our feelings and getting that out of the way"? Just wondering, wouldn't it have seemed then, as if the act had no more importance than just that, a physical act with your partner done not because of your overflowing desire or feelings of love, but just as a formality of getting to the "next step" in your relationship? And if the desire, the passion, is so intense and overwhelming, does one really have to wait for those three words to be uttered? B'cos passion does not have any rules or boundaries..Our beloved couple did proven that on Holi day when they were most willing to act on their desires, without any hesitation from either side, had it not been for Ruhi's interruption..and this was before either of them had confessed their feelings to the other.

So coming back to Raman's thoughts and words today, doesn't it, in fact, show how he respects Ishita as a woman and as a wife, is concerned about her feelings about the subject, and approached it in the most respectable manner with her? Makes me adore RKB even more, when I think about it in that way 😳 not to mention, helps me move on from the "why did Raman have to mention #let's make babies to her?!" and make peace with myself 😃

Nevertheless, I still feel they should and could have omitted the baby-making approach and shown something, anything else instead..well, I am still trying to get over my disappointment of there being no closure to her confession, much as I loved the simplicity of it, for the lack of a hug or eye-lock or an alone/private moment between the two after she said those magical words...Sigh!

Anyway, not sure if I made any sense at all..just writing spontaneously as the thoughts come flowing into the mind. Please ignore if I am sounding silly..

I just LOVED today's IshRa scene, the acting, the chemistry, the dialogues...a 'Zzrrr!' feeling passed through me 😳😃...and your collages and post made me fall in love with it all over again..you are truly gifted!
