The BHallas are GORGING on their Puttar..asking him to handle the 'Science wale' and stand up to these 'intellectuals'..some typical Bhalla banter follows...as Raman keeps looking around for Ishita to materialize from somewhere
as he is waiting for Ishu, Adi drags him and takes him away to the room
Ruhi picks up a carton-like thing...and hands him the wrapped gift from Snapdeal ...They tell him its a pair of shoes...for him...Raman protested, saying he has loads already
"Aapke paas bahut saare shoes honge, lekin yeh sabse best pair hai" Ruhi declared and then shared with her Raman Papa, how Adi took out all the money from his piggy-bank ...and the money given to him during Diwali and other functions...and bought him this pair

Toshi and the other Bhallas, Roo and Adi complimented her...Adi handed her the gift he had ordered from Snapdeal...

She gives him Adi's school papers... and wrapped up the conversation with a "Sort your life"

DT is very excited..in the parking lot, she is chatting away with Raman...reminisces all the dance competitons she had with her friend back in college
Raman looks a tad bit worried ... Im guessing dance ka naam sunte hi unke paseene chhoot gaye...
As Raman leaves her waiting there, a car pulls up right in front of Ishita...she looks around, surprised, as Subbu comes out to greet her
"Haan main...raaste se jaa raha tha...toh socha...agar by chance Raman late ho gaya ho ya kahin raste mein phas gaya toh... toh hum saath mein jaa sakte hain"
"Ek baar call kar lete" Ishu looked at him curiously
"Haan...kar leta...par maine socha...yahan se jaa hi raha hun toh milte huey jaaun"
In the meanwhile, Raman came back...saw Subbu was also on his way to the reunion venue...and offered that the three of them go together...since they're all anyway going to the same place...Ishita didnt look too comfy with the idea...but Subbu okayed it...
THE THREE WENT TO THE VENUE TOGETHER...WHY, RAMAN? WHY? I was looking forward to YOUR drive with Ishita...chit-chatting, teasing, romancing...anything..but not Subbu as a haddi in between
AS SOON AS THEY REACH, RAMAN GETS A CALL...he excuses himself...asks Subbu to help around
SUBBU TAKES ISHU INSIDE
They are all greeting everybody...Ishita looks super excited... all the men and women there look super-fake excited...
Those stupid girls out there started squealing..."Look at both of you...college se abhi tak...happily married" I felt like giving them one btw...
"Haan..happily married toh hain, par inke saath nai..mere saath...she is...Mrs..Raman Bhalla" Raman announced, bursting into the frame
that girl apologized...Raman said its okay...
Waqt milte hi, Ishu said sorry to Raman...he seemed so cool! But being too overconfident about wifey's ex doesnt sound great to me
Adi gifted something to Shagun...perfume, I guess...she is very happy...am really liking Adi...he seems so balanced these days...he has wholeheartedly accepted Ishita as Raman's love..and wife...for ever...but his affection for Shagun hasnt waned...very cute!
Shagun goes around the house...meets Rinki, who's busy talking over the phone...she disconnects her call as soon as she hears her name being called out
she apparently overheard Rinki's convo...then asked her a lot of qs "nayi naveli dulhan mayke mein itne itne din padi rahe...theek nai lagta...kya tum Mihir ke saath khush nai ho? Blah blah blah' she tried real hard to find out what the matter was...
Rinki shot back at Shagun ... "bacha kya hai tumhare paas? Ek chhat hai...woh bhi chali jayegi...mind your own business" LOVED IT! PERFECT COMEBACK👏
Simmi, who was standing in the distance heard all of it and smiled a satisfied smile...confronted Shagun and asked her to mend her ways... aur yeh bhi ki uske aag lagane ke tareeke ab kaam nai aayenge...
Shagun ends up fuming
At the reunion party, Ishita is busy introducing Raman to Sukesh and the other doctors...
"Sab daanton ke carpenters ho...kyun Finance walon ko sharminda kar rahe ho yaar" Raman tries to make some small talk..the dentist association laughs...
The girls are chit-chatting..rather, bitching about Raman... "Ishita toh subbu se itna pyaar karti thi...phir iss Punjabi se kaise shaadi kar li...typical look...pyaar karo gareeb dentist se, aur shaadi karo, ek rich guy se...12 saal ka rishta..college sweethearts...blood donation camp..nai Ishita aisi nai hai...Ishita toh khana nai khaati thi...jab tak Subbu wapas nai aa jata...she married a divorcee...money issues? parents' pressure? Aaj bhi Ishita aur Subbu aaj bhi ek doosre ke saath better lagte hain"
MY FOOT! This is the problem in the country...no one can take another person breathing in peace with ANOTHER human being...even one's own choices are dictated by what PEOPLE assumed to be! Ridiculous!
Raman who had excused himself for a drink. and settled himself in a corner..near the bar..overheard this entire conversation...his face fell
Shagun went out the door...fuming... determined to find out the reason for Rinki's extended stay at her mayka "Oh tum ho mere bhai ki problem..what...dont be innocent...shaadiyan todne ke alawa kuch aata bhi hai? Pehli meri shaadi todi...phir Mihir aur Rinki ke beech aag lagane aayi ho...tabhi main sochun...ki Rinki itne din mayke mein kyun padi rehti hai...pehle mere Bhai ka dil toda, aur ab wapas aayi ho apne rang dikhane...tumhari toh bas yehi ichcha hai ki sabke pati unhe chhodke tumhare paas aaye..." and a lot of other mean things
Yes...towards the end she started blabbing a lot of nonsense...which was delivered in an extremely screechy, uncouth manner...but the first part of Mihika still posing as a problem between Mihir and Rinki is abs right...Yes...she IS the prob...whether she intends to be or not..whether she's doing it deliberately or not...and so this HAD to come out in the open one way or the other
I was getting sick and tired of this dilly-dallying of the underlying issues between Rinki and Mihir...even if its an ugly way to ram straight to the point, at least the issues will now be RESOLVED.
"YOU BETTER STAY AWAY FROM MIHIR...DO YOU GET THAT?"Shagun thundered away
People will say... Shagun, of ALL people on this planet doesnt have the right to give gyaan on how people should handle their marriages...
I disagree..She is the most despicable character in the show...and YET Sometimes she DOES come straight to the point, and utters things which need to be discussed...Whatever might be her motivations for confronting Mihika, Mihir, at the end of the day remains her brother..and unintentionally hi sahi, usne Mihika ke dimag mein yeh keeda daal diya hai..jo ki BAHUT zaroori tha
She hates Mihika...no doubt...but that doesnt make ALL of Mihika's actions praise-worthy...
I am okay with Rinki divorcing Mihir so that he can freely marry Mihika...I just dont want this Sauten-II drama
Mihika looks perturbed...makes a dash to the house...with a need to clarify this doubt instantly...I have this bad feeling Mihika will not handle it well
Back at the party, the girls are asking Ishu about how it is to live in a joint family and stuff...
"Raman jaise husband mile hain...bhara poora parivaar"
Then one of the girls tried to put her down, saying "woh toh divorcee hai naa...unke toh do bacche bhi hai" (I WAS WONDERING IF THEY ALL KNEW ABOUT ISHITA'S 'RICH HUSBAND' BEFOREHAND, THEN WHY THIS PRETENSE AT THE BEGINNING, CHEERING SUBBU AND ISHITA, THINKING THEY ARE MARRIED!?? HOW IDIOTIC! )
Drama ke liye...kuch bhi!
"MERE DO BACCHE...BAHUT PYAARE BACCHE HAIN" Ishita speaks up..coherent...calm...happy...accepting of herself...and truly in love with her life...
Then they asked her, dont u feel awkward marrying a divorcee?
"Kya feel hona chahiye...sab accha hi toh hua...hum shaadi ek insaan se karte hain...uske past se nai"
and then she told them how its not necessary to get stuck in a relationship if it doesnt work out...there's no point wasting an entire life...its better to move on
SHE SHUT EVERYBODY UP! LOVED IT! LOVED HOW MUCH SHE LOVES RAMAN AND THE KIDS AND THE FAMILY! No outsider, with a skewed version of their marriage can affect what she thinks about her life...lovely!
Ishita saw Raman drinking, sitting sullen in a corner
"Ghar chalen ab?" she asks him, tenderly...Raman says nai..chat up with your friends, you're meeting up after a long while...
She realizes he's getting bored...that he isnt liking the ambience very much
"Mujhpe toh bade jokes maarte ho...daanton ke guru...carpenter and al...yahan bhi jokes maro naa"
"Beta...tum apahij ho lekin sabki taange theek hain...dauda dauda ke maarenge mujhe"😆
Ishita held Raman's hand...a soothing touch...
Subbu sees the closeness, intimacy from afar...I am not liking this Subbu's intense, creepy, determined gaze AT ALL
Subbu coughed...teased them about romancing their way to glory and invited them to come and be a part of the dance dhamaka... "Tum bhi dekh lo ki dentists dance kaise karte hain"
Raman urges Ishita to go the to dance floor...and then..all the girls start hounding Ishita ...it was so damn irritating...dance ka itna hi shauk hai to woh ladkiyan kyun dance nai kar leti! As Ishita kept protesting... 'Dil Hai ki Maanta Nahin'...kahin se bajne laga..and she gets this very disturbed look... Must be some song Subbu and Ishu danced to, back in college...aur ho hi kya sakta hai!
"Ek dance toh banta hai Subbu ke saath...purani dosti ke khatir" Subbu kept looking at her expectantly... "And am sure tumhare husband ko bhi koi problem nai hogi" some guy at the background piped in...I wanted to whack those idiots...what makes them think Raman wouldnt/SHOULDN'T have a prob if Ishu and Subbu (the famed exes) dance??
And it was so so weird...Sirf Ishita aur Raman hi ek married couple dikh rahe the wahan pe...baki sab single kaise? yeh kaisi weird si college reunion thi!
Iishita didnt look too excited...Raman said "its okay...go ahead"
They all started chanting 'Ishu Ishu'...Ishu kept looking reluctant, pained, awkward...and a hell lot of other things
Am so sure Subbu ne hi woh gana play karwaya hoga...jaan boojhke...Im not liking this stupid Subbu AT ALL
PRECAP - As Ishita sat comfortably in her wheelchair, Raman twirled round and round...lip-sync-ing to "Main tenu samjhwan ki"
Ishita smiled like a million bucks...as Raman held her hand, butted foreheads with her (albeit, soft and loving)...and Subbu kept looking on ...with a faint envy in his eyes...
P.S. Aaj prove ho gaya KYUN hamara dil KP-DT pe atka hua hai...That costume...that look...the chemistry...WOWWOOOWWW!!
P.S. This reunion looked like a total farce...it was more like Subbu-Ishita past revisited...coz NONE of the people there looked interested in INTERACTING, as they were in prying..such idiots..and behind that so-called gentlemanly behaviour and fake smiles, Subbu looks all determined to whisk Ishita away frm Raman...kisi na kisi bahane se...disgusting...Im glad Ishita looked awkward and uncomfortable and didnt wanna do that stupid dance-wance with Subbu
And how callous! Why shud a person dance with their ex, in a reunion party they've gone to with their SPOUSE!😡
