Anku...I totes agree with you! I mean we have no idea what the CVs hope to accomplish, but still...for Raman to do a 360 between 1 episode is laughable. Even before when they tweeked his characterization for drama, it wasn't this much of a 360.

Plus - there were many instances in the past Raman could've distanced himself from Ishita but it never came to that. Even in the Param track, he let her leave, but he didn't chuck her out.

Even if it is a plan between Ishita & Raman...depending on what Subbu perceives is what can lead into their full blown track. In his vulnerable state, he may perceive whatever he sees as an in with Ishita.

Plus even if Raman does kick her out in all seriousness...they will eventually have the couple rebuilding their relationship. Idk given the mood of the last 2 weeks...what ever this is is transient. It could either be them proving a lesson to Rinki or another growing moment for them as a couple.
