Yes... The image I have in mind is where Ruhi has equal places in her heart for Ishita and Raman both. and they both mean different but equally important things to her. There would be some things that she can completely rely on Raman on... at the same time she understands how Ishima would react to something.
and yea, Ishita has (during the initial days) struck me as the person who would let father-daughter bond, and would also know what makes that bond work. Her observations were inspired by Ishita's role in the scene where Ruhi called Raman his fave person. Ishita was there, and observing and behind-the-scenes helping, but she did not take over that conversation.
