No it all started on Friday, I emailed a friend to check on her she is with her son in Dallas, hes in college, her hubs and mother in law live in my sub, I checked on her she told me she was in town recently becoz her MIL was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and she was in town for the first dose of chemo, I became all mad she didnt tell me, so Saturday I took lunch for hubby and MIL and hubs said "Aap Tuesday ko laana khaana"

I didnt...so this morning I scrambled made subzi, made dal last night took that over dropped it off over work

My morning meetings were pushed out so decided to volunteer at my first grader's class, so went to that before lunch,

Saw the guy in the break room, 😆 at 3

after work went to ALBERTSONS OR HEADED THAT WAY

A Papa Murphy's guy stood at the intersection waving a "$5ONLY Large" tempting idiots like me, so I bit the bait, went in turned out it was a hoax, (read pepperoni) so got another veggie one, went to Alb bought a boat load of things, a check out clerk is a close friend, I lunch with her some times, I blew our last lunch date so gave her my work email and told her "IF I AM AWAKE I AM ON IT"

Came home, cleaned house, mbaked the pizza, put away stuff realized STRAWBERRIES WERE MISSING

I had soaked for rajma in the morning, so made the rajma cooked a cup of rice, drove over to the friend's dropped it off with the MIL(they call it over compensating I guess)

Went to Albertsons picked up the darned fruit again, worked out at the gym and returned

Wednesday is NO ACTIVITY NO NOTHING DAY

How the hell did it turn out to be so insane I HAVE NO IDEA😕

Mujhe bhi ab Strawberries khaane ki mann ho raha hai with icecream😛

And Get well soon wishes for ur friend's MIL. 😊

Making peace & poker

Akka was sent home on Saturday II prepared to deploy in Ghaziabad and Dilshad Garden workshops starting Monday
, Ashwini's IT team reviewed assesments all over again, the first ones were taken 6 months ago when the goddamn deal was made, Excelsior wanted to make sure "no "high" performing" systems were swapped out for defunct ones"

"High performance was a bloody joke when it came to Excelsior

Yahan SW ka band baja rakha hai high performance term seemed like an unknown language

Bally and her had a lunch date on Friday, she told him about Akka's health he worried if she was going to go back on Monday
She admitted she over stepped her authority and addressed it with Athim

"Kya kaha?" Bala asked

"Ummm ya kanna Akka will go back to work when she feels better" II grumbled

"Hmm... Jeeja hai tera, kya kar legi" Bally challenged

"She shouldnt Bally"

"Is she back Monday?"

"Umm no... they have compartment exams in May, last year Thatha had surgery so Akka didnt sign up for compartment proctoring this year she cant get away again"

"Summer will be off na..?" Bally asked

"Technically to 9 weeks hai, but Lectuerers get the lowest, atleast in the set up they have, she has maternity looming large 2nd week of August onwards" II explained

" Sorry Iyer I cant do a thing"

Zyaada sympathy ki zaroorat nahi, mera req speed up karo yaar Bhavna's last date ABSOLUTE LAST DAY IS May 8th" II begged

"I cant yaar, MERA REPLACEMENT approve nahi kar raha Bansal" Bally had a frustrated expression

"Ashwini and I are going to start deploying at Ghaziabad and Dilshad Garden, we have begun already at the vehicle holding centers" II informed

"Looks like you dont need a boss Iyer, tu to chha gayi" Bally chuckled

"REHNE DO U ARE SO CHEAP, no amount of cajoling will get me to nod my head at the idea of not having a boss, and taking on
all your shitty liaisoning with end customers" II was furious

Saturday, R&B had poker at home, she had a movie date with Nandu Shravu... and had to plant the remaining plants

She couldnt go get Akka discharged, Sam and Amma took her to D II despite protests... Amma gently told Bala "Let her stay home for a week"

Bala nodded "i was going to suggest it myself"
Amma and Appa exchanged a look

Appa had been trying to call II ever since Wed nite but II wouldnt answer, she responded to Amma's texts though... checking on Akka

Saturday morning, around 10 when she was having the house cleaned with a head full of sesame oil... Appa drove up in the new car

The guard brought him in, yes the "hedge alias Haj" dude

"Busy aa irukeya?" Appa asked breaking the ice...

"Shouldnt you be in the hospital?" she went up to hug him grumpy

She wore a orange chikan chudidaar... dupatta tied across the body at the waist

"Coffee kudikarela?" (would u have some)

"Tiffin saapadlam nenaichen"(I was hoping for breakfast)

"Upma panninen" (I made upma) wont be like Amma's" she sat in the lounge chair the French upholstered ones

"Kids inge irukala?"

"ya both are asleep upstairs" she nodded

"Ummm... ellarum" (everyone?")

"YAAR?" she wanted him to ASK FOR HER HUSBAND

"Maaplai" (son in law)

She smiled a little... "Maadila"(upstairs)

"Keezha vara maatana?" (doesnt he come down?)

NO PA! HE JUST FLIES OFF FROM THE SECOND FLOOR
HE HATES THE SIGHT OF HIS DAD HE AVOIDS THAT AT ANY COST

EVEN IF I ASK HIM TO BE HERE HE WONT

"Yenna yojanai?" (what are u thinking?)

"I am going to go get him" she muttered

"where is ur father in law?"

"Upstairs I think"

Going up...he was in his office "Hey Appa is here"

He was startled

He got off the couch and came up to her held her face... she dodged and finally let him kiss her

They had slept separately last night she had kicked him off downstairs to play video games in the media room
The room outside which she had once kissed him on a rainy afternoon

Her skin was soft shiny and smooth with all the oil... he caressed the neck massaging the tissue softly

"Will u let me go"

he kissed her again

"Say it" she ordered

"I wont" he said

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him fully

"two nights in a row" she moaned...
Tonight was poker... he wont come to bed until 3 or 4...
His hand roamed the parting offered up by the silver link chain buttons

"Who applied the oil" he demanded

"Which part of the body?" she responded

"Here" he said cupping her curve as she buckled falling on him weakly

"This guy I met at Spectrum" she said as his palm massaged her tip

"Here?' he asked with his left hand on her belly

"A French stripper" she said

He held her back curves firmly "And here?"

"Anonymous" she chuckled

He gently placed her a foot away

"is he downstairs?"

"Hmm" she nodded

"Why?" he asked

"Missed me I guess" she said

They went down...

Appa was wandering in the patio talking to Amma, she turned to go inside

"Stay II" R&B muttered

"He wants to see you" she said

He held her hand...
Appa walked over "how are you?"

"I am good Sir! How are u?"

"She didnt come to the hospital yesterday or the day before" Appa said accusingly

"Oh?" he asked
"U didnt know?" Appa asked in disbelief

"Umm no... she reurned from work after 9 so" R&B explained

II went in to get coffee and breakfast

Appa:She must come see her sister

R&B:I agree

Appa: There are only two no? If they dont see each other

R&B I understand

Appa:She went Wed and didnt return... she gets discharged at 2

Ii returned with coffee

"U are coming to the hospital no?" Appa demanded

"Appa I am taking the boys to a movie at 3"

"U must help kanna"

"I tried to pa" II muttered

"Interfereing in Bala's matters is not help kanna" Appa was irritated

II was taken aback

R&B looked a little startled
Appa quickly calmed down "Amma is waiting for you Akka is coming to DII, you must come"

"Umm I ll try" II mumbled

"Bala cares for Vandita" Appa ordered

II nodded

R&B" I am going to go grab something to eat

II"Iru... da... I mean wait (mumbling)

R&B wanting to give father daughter some privacy

"I will go" Appa said

"No pa, breakfast is almost ready, Dad is also up I am told" II said

"HOW DO U KNOW?" appa demanded
"There is a stair case by the kitchen the help took chai up" she explained

"Are u still upset with me?' Appa mumbled

"Ummm no..."

"Pinna yenn valle?" (why didnt u come?) U are showing ur moods to Vandita" Appa accused

"I am not pa" II pleaded

"Come today then"

"He has a poker game pa" II began

"Why gambling?' Appa asked

"Do u play every weekend?" Appa asked

"Not usually" he said

"What does my daughter do then?" "does she also play?" Appa mocked

"I asked her to but she wont" he said coolly🤣

The boys came down running slamming into II
Ranjan walked down as well
