I think Dr. Subbu is either a red herring or a massive goof-up by CVS
Remember when they introduced Mani as Ishita's college friend,and then they figured out that they were in two different streams,medicine and business studies?They rectified the back - story to Ishita and Mani being childhood friends.

YHM cvs are totally lost in all this miss and KP wedding bering more mess in the show as CVs did't know how to manage his absent

CV have got Subbu as their back plan to torture viewers in kp absence. I guess this would be worst track ever untill n unless CV does something out of box.

Is this Subu Bala's brother?

if yes - wasn't he married and having a child before Ishita got married to Raman?

If this is just to cover Karan 's leave, they can show him on business trip and have some side track going on with Mihika and a new entry in her life...to keep up trp ... Why CVS triying to ruin main story line - lead pair?
