1) Explore the relationship between Adi and Raman, show that a father-son relationship is a difficult one to cultivate especially if the parents are divorced

2) Explore Ishita's vulnerabilities about being Adi's mother, her relationship with Adi isn't going to as maternal as her relationship with Ruhi, so that can be explored beautifully,

3) How about developing Romi's character and his potential relationship with Adi, Adi relating with Romi better than his father

4) Raman and Ishita unable to progress physically in their relationship due to their insecurities

5) financial instability and the toll it would take on a couple.

6) Exploring work vs home balance and how the family gets affected if the there is a working mom involved in the equation.

The list is endless but now what we get is a designer saree wearing ex wife and morons as the lead couple.

One thing I really really dislike is Puttar always taunting Ishita on the ishima front. I don't think that is warranted. It is similar to Bala's mom n Shags, continuously calling her baanj ! Ugh ! There could have been a logical conclusion to this track. They could have explored IshRa's relationship status. They fighting together to get back Ruhi in the process realising their love and understanding that it's not just Ruhi ke liye anymore. After they get back Ruhi's custody, Raman quitting Ashok's company. In the mean time, Tandon from London coming to know about Raman's resignation, threatening to withdraw from Malhotra's company. Raman stopping him due to Mihir's career at stake.

Let me add a couple more to this list:

1. Adhi/Shravu: Their relationships with Ru & each other's fathers points to a terrific track potentially.
2. Simmi: single mother, divorce, villainous ex
3. Sarika/Romi: the possibility of being a father without the marriage aspect in their relationship
4.Vandu/Bala: Anew child coing to a marriage unknowingly on the rocks and a faimily where a the loss of Bla's job and that income affects the kidn of life they lead
