Finally.... *Updated (Muthu Coll pg 4) **

a good episode...the day I decided to skip even reading the WU.


...Went a bit crazy with edits...please bear with me 😆

I sat with no expectation...and fingers on the track to FF as I have been doing past so many days. But the episode surprised me...by something, what I don't know, can't pinpoint yet but today Raman looked like the Raman (sans the hair style) we knew, Ishita felt like the Ishita we knew and Ruhi's feelings depicted the rawness of a 6 year old dealing with a lot of conflicting emotions...nothing felt out of place.

A family dealing with some hard times the best way they could...a husband accepting his mistake and for a change looked a bit convincing as the guy who is going to follow up his promises with his actions...a wife clearly spelled it out what is wrong with her husband's actions and how it's shaking the foundation of their relationship...them making up in their signature nok-jhok style. A father stepping in as the role of the protector of his daughter and looked much better in control by putting his employer in place with his quick thinking for a change. A daughter who was reluctant about her job but doing her best to get over her inhibition for her Papa's job security. And a father hovering in the background and making sure that his daughter gets home cooked meal in uncomfortable surrounding. And finally the father and the husband in Raman ensuring the two angels of his life get a bit of semblance of normalcy in their upside down life...connecting a daughter's love to the mother's soul which has been feeling a whole lot bereft and making sure that his daughter's situation in school is not as hopeless as it was in the morning

When I get such moments...I become a happy customer and hope that this continues tomorrow and the day after and so on...I dont know whether it will...but for today...I'm happy. Hence the post. It proves that the CVs can salvage this if they only try.

An episode where probably finally it looked like a family should act when something as big as what they are dealing with. IshRaRu relationship in crosshair...for a change in a subtle, meaningful way.

G, What fantastic collages...really pinpointing the best parts of the episodes. After a long while, I actually liked an epi, like most of you... and maybe it's a one shot, maybe it will get even worse before it gets better... but for now- this was great, this was needed, this restored a little of my faith in the CVs, and maybe even my own sense of TV show choice too.

There ere so many little great moments, all curtosey of our triple threat trio of KP, RD & DT! So I'll focus on the moment of each performance that really touched my heart.

I'll start with my baby Ru ... how beautiful was that? The reluctant lines, the silent tears , the yearning for the love that she knows but feels she can no longer trust... so beautifully presented. Her plight, her questions and her doubts about those she loves is nothing new at this point of the track... but the way she portrayed it was amazing. Her recalling Shagun's words and breaking herself out of the comforting cocoon of her Papa's love and literally pushing him away so that she could do that which made her feel so unhappy to ensure her family's happiness. In that moment, we saw ISHRA's daughter,sacrificing herself for her family.

And then later, standing in the changing room, throwing her hurt and accusations at her Ishimaa's which clutching to the photo of happier times with her Ishimaa, unable to take that step, unable to believe that the step wasn't taken to get that physical embrace. She took there crying and drawing strength form the love and warmth of the memory in the picture as she faced off against the woman who made her feel that warmth... so subtle and so well done illustrating her delicate situation and the depth of the pain and doubt.

And Ishita- I have been on the forefront of those calling for a knock down, drag out fight between ISHRA to clear the air and bring them back to centre, especially with the secret about Raman's job. And after yesterday's preview i was ready to be disappointed. But today, today it made sense. Because in that space, she acted appropriately. As they say, sometimes silence speaks a thousand words and today Ishita didn't need to say much to share her disappointment, and it wast that- with her husband. He was already feeling the weight of the guilt and for him, it was a freeing experience, but he understood the guilt. And in that moment, in that space, this was the kind of talk that needed to happen in that place. One day, they need to revisit, not this secret - but secrets and self sacrificing in general... but today this was fine.

I also loved how in the lot she told him that Ru was kept them together... and then in the room later she said that he is the one that gives her the most happiness. Shagun needed to hear the first, and she did; and Raman needed to hear the second, and he did. For both the listeners in that moment, they believe/ 'know' that said statement is true and Ishita just gave confirmation... but I am so so glad Shagun heard that. That statement is what will make Shagun falter, the overconfidence in the 'truth' of that statement will give her in her maneuvering... and the knowledge of the second statement is what will give Raman the drive to fight harder to get back their little princess and set everything right in their world.

For all thei fighting and hardrsh words these days, at the root, Raman knows the truth of her love, of their love and his value in her life and this simple statementsaid in such a passing manner was just an affirmation of fact. He knows its truth, so does she... which is why it went unexplored... because though those three little words remain unsaid between them, the truth of that mutual feeling is undeniable. ISHRA are growing stronger while Shagun thinks they are getting weaker... they couldn't have created a better ruse if they planned it.

And finally, my hero, my RKB- I saw him again today, sneaking a peek beneath the hair and the clothes and the scruff... he is still there and he is emerging. Dare I call this the awakening of RKB 2.0? Maybe it's too early, but I can see it happening soon- and then SHASHOK better run. Loved his words to Ashok and his comforting of his wife and daughter and his apology ... but for me, the best scene with Raman today was when he said nothing at all. After giving Ishu the tablet,he watched her watch it. And that look of utter devotion, the depth of l've on his face... that was the scene for me. Even in the forward track when he gave her the tablet, he never watched it with her, what he watched was his wife. She clutched the tablet like Ru had clutched the picture earlier and tried to drown herself in that love, to remind herself of the warmth and comfort of it, as she could not turn and clutch her daughter when she was infront of her...like Ru.

She basked in their daughter's little moments and tried to grasp onto the love in them and he, he basked in her , in her joy at his gesture, in her joy in their daughter. We saw a completely besotted RKB today- a man in love with his wife and loving his daughter ad it was truly a sight for sore eyes. Maybe there were moments like this in the episodes missed, but in the ones I saw since this 'new job' track started, I haven't seen him so free and in love and just adoring the woman whose ove and devotion he still feels unworthy of. It reminded me of the days in their old place when they would have those moments of getting lost in each other, the aura was here again, and in that moment, my RKB was back. This is his strength, this love, the love of both these amazing females in his life... and today he was reminded of why he must continue to fight the good fight and get the light of their lives back where she belongs.

Random:

1. Was I the only one distracted by Shagun's earring in her exchange with Ishita in the change room?😆

2. My two favorite lines , the lines that gave me hope: 'I love you Ishimaa' & 'She loves me'... says so much about the real truth of both of TKB's ladies- their insecurities, their pain and their connection... the emotion and psychology being those line are the reason I started watching the show and the reasons I still watch ... beautiful. *sigh*

so muttu is entering now ...but i saw that he / she is still looks same ... he didnt became a dog till now ? how ? ... i think dogs grow up so fast but here muttu is still the small puppy 😲

no they showed a really big dog.

Today even I watched the episode with interest and liked it and I was expecting a post from u., but feeling bad for Rinki even though MIMI r just being friends...

Finally some progression shown today. It was definitely a better episode than this whole week.

Finally the truth is out and the one thing I wanted I was Ishra to communicate, and that has happened. The confrontation scene was not melodramatic, and to the point. Did I hear right and Raman admit that he has a problem hiding things. But all that, now that everything is out, Ishra's relationship will be stronger now. Nothing is hidden so I don't expect any to go wrong and please tell me they have some hidden plan to get Ruhi back that they aren't showing the viewers.

One thing I was happy to see today was Ishra were not crying through the whole episode. They finally had some comeback for Ashok. It was nice to see them use their brain and not let Ashok push them around. Ashok couldn't say anything back to them because he knows the what they were saying was the truth.

Ishita finally went to go see Ruhi and was finally going to go talk to her but all hail delusional Shagun for interpreting them so Ishita couldn't get a word in. I don't why but I feel as Ruhi knows Ishita still wants her but her anger wont let her accept it. Watching this child being abused is cringe worthy and whats even worse is watching her so called parents sit around do nothing. When that director was yelling at her, I want to protect her. It was sign of relief when Raman came and protected his daughter. But Shagun has put so much fear in her, that for the sake of her father she was ready to take all the abuse coming towards her.

I know this part is not part of the episode but I have to get it off my chest. The trps are down and I couldn't be more happy. Thank God the trps aunties are finding the current track offensive as we are. I wouldn't blame especially if they are mothers. This track is borderline child abuse and who enjoys watching that. Raman's character has been butchered for months now and this track was no exception but this track has butchered every character on the show including Ishita. The strong, independent, and intelligent woman did not appear once in this track. All we saw her crying and making rash decisions. I dont know why people are blaming KP when he has no whats so ever decisions in the creative department. I said this in the beginning of the track, this track will be the downfall of the cvs and I turned out correct. Even the trps aunties are agreeing with the original fans.

---Notes--

• Shagun is so delusional. She stills thinks Ishra's relationship is all Ruhi but clearly today proved that. There relationship has passed sirf Ruhi ki liye. I don't how much more she can throw at them and try and separate them. Clearly both Adi and Ruhi prefer Ishita over Shagun, so now what are her plans.
• Did Shagun not see the sadness on her daughter's face. This ad campain is the downfall of Shagun and I am praying that the cvs use child labour as the main focus to get Ruhi back.
• It seems KP's gel ran out because his hair was less gelled today
• Was Mattu always a golden retriever or do I have a bad memory.
