Love can be destructive.. Thus was the case with Raman & Ishita .. 2 souls connected by their passion for music. However, their passion for music didn't take long to translate into unconditional love for each other. Ishita's love was unconditional in the truest sense: Raman was an alcoholic, gambler a failed singer who splurged unnecessarily but Ishu held on in the hope that all would be well finally. Little did she realise perhaps that life was not a fairy tale for everything to get sorted out ultimately!
They had met in an audition held in Chennai. It was a singing reality show and the judges were on the outlook of India's latest singing sensation, strictly for girls. However, what began with such a hype ended at merely nothing. Girls lost their interest or rather their families restrictions held them back. However, amidst this huge crowd was a hidden talent; a gem of a person! Ishu's parents were in full support not because they were greedy to live off their daughter's money but for her immense zest for music. Ishita being their only child, their life was spent fulfilling her needs and desires..!! She had began classical training at age 5 and by the time she was 7 she had perfected the art; making the Iyers proud parents! Now that opportunity was at their doorstep, they couldn't resist. The journey began of Ishu's success stint and her tale of love and self destruction in many manners.
Raman was a happy man until success reached its peak. This man had it all; chuffers, servants-maids and all the luxuries one could probably think of yet he was such a humble soul. He belonged to a family of singers and people who belonged to the music industry in various designations, so to say: music directors, producers and lyrists..
It started off pretty randomly.. Raman and his cousin, Param a music director by profession were chatting about Param's latest venture when it struck him that Raman should also try his hand at singing. Well that's how it began. Raman fetched overnight fame, status and innumerable awards within months. This made Raman arrogant, rude and an alcoholic. He would hold parties almost everyday to celebrate his accomplishments which who knew would last no longer. Raman's downfall began after Ishu's arrival therefore he would torture her. Yet her being the soul that she is put up with this beast of a husband.
This was their life... complicated yet entwined by destiny!!

Part 2
Ishita's big day had arrived. Her dream would finally translate into reality. She set out with the blessings of her Appa, Amma & Murugon; praying that everything would run smoothly. Upon reaching, Ishu found the humongous place silent as well as dark. It not only scared her but Appa & Amma as well. Countless assumptions made their way into her mind.. it may be a prank.. the people may take undue advantage of her...
After a good ten to twenty minutes the lights began to flash. The trio breathed a sigh of relief! Out of nervousness and apprehension, Ishu had reached twenty minutes early. This she realised only when other people began to assemble and the lights turned on..
Not that the judges arrived any soon but the anchor kept the participants in the loop. Peeping around and glancing here and there, Ishu realised that not many girls had arrived and she quite readily understood that not all parents were as supportive as Mr.& Mrs. Iyer, after all.
& the moment that all the girls had been waiting for was here...
The Bhalla's had arrived.. The senior most Bhalla was O.P Bhalla a music producer, in tow were R.K Bhalla & Romi Bhalla. Both of who were singers but so different in personality. On the one hand where their was the cool, calm and composed Raman on the other was Romi: spoilt, bratty and a total Casanova. Well probably that was just the effect of his young age..
The trio seated themselves and asked for all the contestants to be called over one at a time.
None of the girls managed to impress and now everyone lay their bets on the last one: Ishita Vishwanathan Iyer...
& boy did she impress.. she blew away everyone's mind! Not only were the audiences cheering like crazy; the judges were no less.. Ishu & Iyer's were ecstatic..
Now arrived the most difficult part.. Having known that had Ishu been selected they would have to send her away.. Amma & Appa had agreed only for the sake of their dearest daughter..!! They had to do it; the worst part being that they couldn't even accompany her owing to their own busy schedules.
The trio had only another 3 days to spend together and then Ishu would be gone only to reside in their memories and telephonic chats. Well, they'd forgotten Skype so Ishu chipped in and opted for Skype over having chats over a phone call. That decided.. The threesome set out to spend all their time with each other, in the process avoiding all their work and cherishing every second of their days together.. They went shopping, ate at the road side and most surprisingly Amma agreed to try to eat out in a restaurant only under the greed that she would get to spend all that time with her daughter without any worry in the world!! The next two days were also spent in the same manner..
The Bhalla's had arranged for transport to make travel easier for Ishita.
