Few months back many people in this forum supported Raman's behavior and justified the same too and majority were women .They prefer to see the lead's hotness over sensible storyline. When you have such viewers a mature track is not gonna work for production house.
I just dont get why the intimacy is shown as such a big deal on Indian TV. In most of the shows the leads dont consummate for years 😕. In IShra's case what made me really mad was why they didnt show them talk about it. They just sweep these issues under the rug. I would have preferred if Ishita had questioned Raman's behavior and found the reason for his insecurity regarding Mani. They are just showing sex as a reward in a marriage.
Raman- If you help me get Adi, I will reward you with intimacy
Ishita- If you keep me happy, I will think about it. But, if you do anything which displeases me, forget about it. With Raman's track record, he will always be in trouble, so no chance.
Mihika- I hate you Ashok, you blackmailed me so I will come up with silly excuses to avoid you. I will not give you what you want but I expect you to help my Akka and my treat my jiju nicely. "Mugamo khush hua" type. I wonder if Ashok had struck the deal with Mihika and done as she requested would then she had slept with him??? She was ready to do it to save Shagun, she might do it for her jiju and Akka
Romi- I slept with Sarika, but I dont love her. I want the child but dont want to be stuck with her for life. Basically he wants to keep the child and throw her out or he just wants visitation rights or he wants to marry her but have permission to cheat.
Minky- Will wait to fall in love, which might not happen due to the Mihika triangle. So another strange marriage. So either Rinky becomes the glorious one and walks out on the marriage or relegate to becoming the third wheel watching her husband with puppy eyes waiting for some love to be showered on her. So basically she is screwed. If she opposes Mihir's helping Mihika, she becomes the bad one. If she allows, she will always be insecure and the ignored one. If Mihika is around why would Mihir fall in love with Rinky?
Makes me wonder are these people married or running a business? Making deals in marriage😕 These marriages never work. The CVs should show sensible dialogues and reactions not drama. One pakistani show actually addressed these marriage issues very nicely. The mother actually tells her daughter, Love is not important to make a marriage work, your sense of duty is. I do my duty as a wife and your father does his duty as a husband. We respect each other due to that and when I see him being a great dad to my children I forget that he is not the greatest husband.
