Same was happening at the Bhalla house. The whole family sitting, a cup of tea in everybody's hand and togetherness; what else can make an ideal ambience.

All laughed at Ishvi's reply and more at the fact that she blended with Bhallas so well.

Redansh too joined everyone soon completing the family fully. He happily greeted everyone after taking Pari in his arms

Ishita: Achi thi beta...aap sabko bahut miss kiya maine

Redansh: Humne bhi aapko bahut miss kiya especially Papa ne

Ishita blushed at this comment and made her way to the kitchen to get another cup of tea for everyone. Ishvi too followed her inside the kitchen and kept her head on Ishita's shoulder suddenly.

Ishita smiled at this gesture and caressed Ishvi's cheek lovingly.

Soon Ishita and Ishvi were embraced in a beautiful hug.

Ishita and Raman had happily started their new life with lots of dreams in their eyes and lots of aspirations in their hearts.

Raman: Ishita jaldi karo yaar...first day hai aaj tumhara job ka

Ishita: Aa rahi hoon Raman...waise first day nahi hai...aap bhul gaye I was already working for so long

Raman: Arre baba I mean at the new office

Ishita came outside from the room towards the hall where Raman was waiting for her all ready to go already.

Kyun kya ho gaya, Ishita asked after worriedly checking herself top to bottom.

Raman: Itni achi lag rahi ho I am scared koi meri biwi chura na le

Ishita: Kya Raman aap bhi

Raman: Leave lele? ghar par hi ruk jaate hain and lets continue what got us late

Soon both proceeded towards the car to drive to their destination. Raman dropped Ishita at her office and then made his way to his office.

Both spent a busy morning at the office and only got time to catch each other during lunch time.

Ishita checked her phone to find his message.

Raman: Hey beautiful...how is your first day going

Ishita: very busy Raman...subah se saans lene ki fursat nahi thi...ab jaake time mila...aapka kaisa jaa raha hai

Raman: Roz jaisa hi hai

Ishita: Khaana khaaya

Raman: Haan par I know tumne nahi khaaya...please have

Ishita: Akele khaane ka mann nahi hai

Ishita: Bane lekin sabne khaa liya already...I was working at that time

And then they talked while she ate and then carried forward with their day.

In the evening, he saw his phone ringing with her message.

Ishita: I am done for the day...kab tak aa rahe ho

Raman: I am still stuck...do you want to go

Ishita: Nahi I am waiting...kaam karke aa jao aap

Raman: Ok coming soon...c ya

Ishita: ok waiting

And this became their daily schedule. He dropped her office daily in the mornings and picked in the evenings. Sometimes she would stay back at the office to wait for him and some other times; he would wait downstairs in the car for her to come. How balanced their relation was. When Ishita cooked, he made sure he finished some other household chores. Raman was always a supportive husband who helped his wife in every possible thing he could. Ishita too proved herself an equally perfect partner by supporting him in everything if it was his official calls at odd hours or his huge bunch of friends banging in without any notification.

The days were very tiring because of their busy schedules at their respective offices but they had the world's most pleasurable stress buster. Giving themselves to each other almost every night was their way of coping up with the exhaustion of the whole day.

Their fights were unique like themselves too. Who would open the door for maid sacrificing the bed on weekends, who would make the late night coffee, who would hang the wet clothes in the balcony on a sunny afternoon, who spoilt the bedsheet, who threw the wet towel on the bed etc. were some of the reasons out of many they would fight for.

And that's how life kept moving on.

Baby ke baare mein, Ishita said slowly, reluctantly and shyly.

He pulled her near himself closer and crashed her into his arms.

Ishita: I don't know Raman...i mean I didn't think about it yet

Raman: Abhi bahut jaldi hai na

Ishita: Exactly...yahi main soch rahi thi par I didn't know aapne kya socha is baare mein

Raman: Kuch nahi socha...Socha hota toh tumse discuss karta na...abhi kuch nahi sochna hai yeh sab...let the right time come

Raman: I know par achanak

Ishita: Bas aise hi

Raman: Jaanta hoon kyun kaha tumne achanak...hum ek dusre ko support nahi karenge toh koun karega...we can have difference in opinions but we need to have similar thoughts when it comes to us

Ishita: Right...ab chalo so jao bahut late hua hai

Ishita: You never get enough na...please sleep...good night

And both slept in the same position.

The life kept moving smoothly and happily. Days and nights came and went giving them a new happiness every day. Everything was just so special about this year; "The first monsoon when they had drenched themselves in the rain and danced like crazy with their NGO kids", "The first Karwachauth when they had flown to Chandigarh for a family gathering and celebrated the festival with their complete family yet giving each other their romantic moments of togetherness", "The first Diwali when both their families had flown to Bombay and everybody had happily welcomed the festival of lights".

Another 3 months passed and it was the night before her birthday. Somewhat around 11.45 PM when they were amidst a love making session, Raman moved himself slightly away from her.

Ishita: Kya ho gaya Raman

Raman: Nahi kuch nahi...aata hoon main

Ishita: Hua kya par...kuch problem hai kya

Raman got up silently, put on his clothes and went out awkwardly leaving Ishita confused.

Minutes by minutes passed but he didn't come back until the clock struck 12.

It was not a surprise because acting to forget the birthday would be so foolish but yes it was a moment of bliss.

Raman put a small handmade cake or rather sandwich cake on the bed that he had prepared in the last 15 minutes.

Yeh hai tumhara abhi wala birthday cake, he said giving her a peck on her forehead.

Ishita: Is se better cake maine dekha nahi hai...thank you so much Raman

Raman: Ab cut toh karo...baad mein thank you kehna

Ishita cut the cake holding his hand in hers. She fed him and he fed her.

Both then embraced each other into a hug and only came out when the phone rang. Raman put the phone on speaker and started the call.

Ishita: Thanks Didi

Toshi Ji: Happy birthday beta

Ishita: Thank you mummy Ji

Soon everyone wished each other good night and ended the call.

Seeing no response from her, Raman put a chain around her neck.

Ishita now got up, took the chain and its pendent in her hand and glared at it lovingly. It was a simple gold chain with a pendent which had two half hearts joined together yet it looked so extraordinary.

Raman then made her eat a piece of cake again intentionally putting some on her lips as well.

Both smiled looking at each other and gave themselves to sleep with a hope to welcome a new phase in their life soon.
