Raman and Ishita don't sleep together, they don't share the sexual relationship. But they do live together. Share living space and a bed. They share this level of comfort. She doesn't kiss him, like kiss him per se. She pecks him. That's different from a kiss. Way different. And from where I come from its common. Quite common and not something out of the blue.

They're not stupid. 😆
