Possible reason for Ishita breaking her promise

I think based on how they are progressing, Adi will try to do something extreme like take his life, etc. Raman will find out and hence will decide to sneak Vohra's papers from Ishita to stop her from returning Adi to get Ruhi back. The same reason will also compel Ishita to stick with Adi's custody.

Regardless, the CVs are creating a very ugly track that will only give the viewers heartache. I wish they would not go down this path. Any thoughts?
